1华南板块南缘早中生代的逆冲推覆构造及其相关的动力学背景显示文摘作为理解华南构造演化的关键地区,在华南板块南缘的云开地体和越北的Song Chay地体发育了早中生代的向北东逆冲推覆的韧性变形。在云开地体,经历角闪岩相和绿片岩相变质的矿物指示了产状平缓的面理上发育明显的北东—南西向矿物拉伸线理。沿着这些矿物拉伸线理,具有上部指向北东的剪切变形。同位素年代学的定年结果指示了变形事件发生在220 Ma左右。在越南北部,Song Chay地体的岩石和构造特征与云开地体极其相似:平缓的面理,北东—南西向的矿物拉伸线理和上部指向北东的剪切变形是其主要的构造特征,这些构造特征均表现为向北东的逆冲推覆,变形时间从晚三叠世至早侏罗世。这期构造事件的动力学机制被认为同印支板块与华南板块晚古生代—早中生代的构造拼合密切相关。我们认为新发现的Song Chay蛇绿混杂带是华南板块同印支板块的碰撞拼合界线。因此,华南板块南缘云开地体和Song Chay地体被一同卷入同印支板块的碰撞造山体系之中。林伟 Michel Faure Claude Lepvrier 陈泽超 褚杨 王清晨 N'guyen Van Vuong Vu Van Tich 2011地质科学2011,46,1:20

6Aerodynamic design optimization of helicopter rotor blades including airfoil shape for hover performance显示文摘This study proposes a process to obtain an optimal helicopter rotor blade shape for aerodynamic performance in hover flight. A new geometry representation algorithm which uses the class function/shape function transformation (CST) is employed to generate airfoil coordinates. With this approach, airfoil shape is considered in terms of design variables. The optimization process is constructed by integrating several programs developed by author. The design variables include twist, taper ratio, point of taper initiation, blade root chord, and coefficients of the airfoil distribution function. Aerodynamic constraints consist of limits on power available in hover and forward flight. The trim condition must be attainable. This paper considers rotor blade configuration for the hover flight condition only, so that the required power in hover is chosen as the objective function of the optimization problem. Sensitivity analysis of each design variable shows that airfoil shape has an important role in rotor performance. 7A Spatial-Temporal Network Perspective for the Propagation Dynamics of Air Traffic Delays显示文摘Intractable delays occur in air traffic due to the imbalance between ever-increasing air traffic demand and limited airspace capacity.As air traffic is associated with complex air transport systems,delays can be magnified and propagated throughout these systems,resulting in the emergent behavior known as delay propagation.An understanding of delay propagation dynamics is pertinent to modern air traffic management.In this work,we present a complex network perspective of delay propagation dynamics.Specifically,we model air traffic scenarios using spatial–temporal networks with airports as the nodes.To establish the dynamic edges between the nodes,we develop a delay propagation method and apply it to a given set of air traffic schedules.Based on the constructed spatial-temporal networks,we suggest three metrics-magnitude,severity,and speed-to gauge delay propagation dynamics.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed method,we carry out case studies on domestic flights in the Southeastern Asia region(SAR)and the United States.Experiments demonstrate that the propagation magnitude in terms of the number of flights affected by delay propagation and the amount of propagated delays for the US traffic are respectively five and ten times those of the SAR.Experiments further reveal that the propagation speed for US traffic is eight times faster than that of the SAR.The delay propagation dynamics reveal that about six hub airports in the SAR have significant propagated delays,while the situation in the United States is considerably worse,with a corresponding number of around 16.This work provides a potent tool for tracing the evolution of air traffic delays.Qing Cai Sameer Alam Vu N.Duong 2021Engineering2021,7,4:7
8截顶后红松幼树光合生理响应研究显示文摘以14年生红松人工林为研究对象,研究不同截顶处理(CK:不截顶、P1:截去第2轮枝及以上部分、P2:截去第3轮枝及以上部分)对树木光合生理特征的影响。结果表明:截去第3轮枝后在短时间内(2个月)对红松树体光合特征各指标有显著提高作用,但是效应随着时间增加而减少,2个月后影响就不再显著;截顶后不同叶龄针叶的光合生理响应也有所不同:对于当年生针叶,两种截顶处理对净光合速率、气孔导度、胞间CO2浓度的影响不显著,但两种截顶对蒸腾速率影响显著,并且P2处理显著提高了蒸腾速率;对于一年生针叶,两种处理中P1处理只显著提高了净光合速率,P2处理对所有光合指标都没有产生显著影响;对于二年生针叶,P2处理显著增加了针叶的各光合特征指标(净光合速率、气孔导度、蒸腾速率和胞间CO2浓度),而P1处理对所有光合指标的影响都不显著;截去第3轮枝的红松一年生、二年生针叶叶绿素a、叶绿素b、总叶绿素及类胡萝卜素含量显著高于未截顶红松。本试验揭示了截去第3轮枝及以上部分可以增加红松叶片光合作用,可为进一步探究截顶后树木的复壮机制以及改善经营水平提供依据。Nguyen Thanh Tuan 沈海龙 王琴香 张鹏 Vu Dinh Duy 2017森林工程2017,33,4:7

10Diabetes mellitus increases risk for colorectal adenomas in younger patients显示文摘AIM:To determine if diabetes mellitus(DM)is associated with increased risk of colorectal adenomas in younger subjects.METHODS:This was a retrospective cohort study of375 patients undergoing index colonoscopy at a single tertiary care center in the United States.Three cohorts of patients matched for exam date and gender were compared:(1)ages 40-49 years with DM;(2)ages40-49 years without DM;and(3)ages 50-59 years without DM.Data collected included demographics,co-morbidities,colonoscopy and pathology results.Adenoma detection rates(ADR)were calculated and compared.Conditional logistic regression analysis was performed to determine the association between each cohort and ADR.RESULTS:One hundred and twenty-five patients ages40-49 with DM met study eligibility criteria.Patients in the other two cohorts were randomly selected,match-ing for date of exam and gender.ADR was 14.4%in those ages 40-49 years without DM,30.4%in those ages 40-49 years with DM,and 32.0%in those ages50-59 years without DM.Compared to those ages40-49 years without DM,ADR was higher in those ages40-49 years with DM(OR=3.1;95%CI:1.5-6.4;P=0.002)and those ages 50-59 years without DM(OR=2.9;95%CI:1.5-5.6;P=0.002).There was no difference between the ADR in those ages 40-49 years with DM and those ages 50-59 years without DM(P=0.83).CONCLUSION:DM was associated with higher risk of colorectal adenomas in patients ages 40-49 years.These subjects harbored as many adenomas as those at the standard screening age of 50-59 years without DM.Hongha T Vu Nneka Ufere Yan Yan Jean S Wang Dayna S Early Jill E Elwing 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,22:5
11Seasonal and geographical distribution of bacillary dysentery(shigellosis)and associated climate risk factors in Kon Tum Province in Vietnam from 1999 to 2013显示文摘Background:Bacillary dysentery(BD)is an acute bacterial infection of the intestine caused by Shigella spp.,with clinical symptoms ranging from fever to bloody diarrhoea to abdominal cramps to tenesmus.In Vietnam,enteric bacterial pathogens are an important cause of diarrhoea and most cases in children under 5 years of age are due to Shigella strains.The serogroups S.flexneri and S.sonnei are considered to be the most common.The main objective of this study was to,for the first time,assess the seasonal patterns and geographic distribution of BD in Vietnam,and to determine the climate risk factors associated with the incidence of BD in Kon Tum Province,where the highest rate of bacillary dysentery was observed from 1999 to 2013.Methods:The seasonal patterns and geographic distribution of BD was assessed in Vietnam using a seasonaltrend decomposition procedure based on loess.In addition,negative binomial regression models were used to determine the climate risk factors associated with the incidence of BD in Kon Tum Province,from 1999 to 2013.Results:Overall,incidence rates of BD have slightly decreased over time(except for an extremely high incidence in 2012 in the north of Vietnam).The central regions(north/south central coast and central highlands)had relatively high incidence rates,whereas the northwest/east and Red River Delta regions had low incidence rates.Overall,seasonal plots showed a high peak in the mid-rainy reason and a second smaller peak in the early or late rainy season.The incidence rates significantly increased between May and October(“wet season”)across the country.In Kon Tum Province,temperature,humidity,and precipitation were found to be positively associated with the incidence of BD.Conclusions:Our findings provide insights into the seasonal patterns and geographic distribution of BD in Vietnam and its associated climate risk factors in Kon Tum Province.This study may help clinicians and the general public to better understand the timings of outbreaks and therefore equip them with the knowledge to plan better interventions(such as improving water,sanitation,and hygiene conditions)during peak seasons.This can,in turn,prevent or reduce outbreaks and onwards transmission during an outbreak.Hu Suk Lee TTHa Hoang Phuc Pham-Duc Mihye Lee Delia Grace Dac Cam Phung Vu Minh Thuc Hung Nguyen-Viet 2017Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1:5

15Value of a new stick-type rapid urine test for the diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection in the Vietnamese population显示文摘AIM:To assess the value of a new test for the diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori) infection,Rapirun H.pylori Antibody Stick(Rapirun Stick),in a Vietnamese population.METHODS:Eligible patients without previous history of H.pylori eradication were recruited.Rapid urease test(RUT) and histologic examination were used to diagnose the H.pylori infection.Patients were considered H.pylori positive when the RUT results were positive and/or the bacteria were detected histologically.Rapirun Stick tests were performed using urine samples,and the results were compared with the other 2 methods.RESULTS:We enrolled 200 patients with a mean age of 36(range,18-76) years.There were 116 females and 84 males.Of the 200 patients,111(55.5%) were diagnosed as being H.pylori positive.The sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy of the Stick test were 84.7%,89.9%,and 87.0%,respectively.There were 17(8.5%) falsenegative patients and 9(4.5%) false-positive patients.CONCLUSION:The Rapirun Stick test has high sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy for the diagnosis of H.pylori infection in the Vietnamese population.The test can be clinically applied in Vietnamese populations.Duc T Quach Toru Hiyama Fumio Shimamoto Quang D Le Linh X Ho Nhu HT Vu Masaharu Yoshihara Naomi Uemura 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,17:4

17Genetic diversity in two threatened species in Vietnam:Taxus chinensis and Taxus wallichiana显示文摘Taxus chinensis and T. wallichiana in have been threatened in their distribution areas in recent decades because of their over-exploitation and reduction and destruction of native habitats. Determining the genetic diversity in populations of the two species will provide guidelines for their protection and preservation. Two hundred and fifteen trees from six populations of T. chinensis and150 sampled trees of T. wallichiana were sampled. Six microsatellite primer pairs selected from 16 primer pairs were used to investigate genetic variation at the population and species levels. Five yielded polymorphic alleles, and among the 13 putative alleles amplified, 11 were polymorphic(accounting for 76.33 %).Shannon's information index(I) and percentage of polymorphic bands(PPB)(I = 0.202 and PPB = 67.22 % for T. chinensis; I = 0.217 and PPB = 65.03 % for T. wallichiana). Both species had low levels of genetic diversity(mean H_o= 0.107, H_e= 0.121 for T. chinensis; H_o= 0.095, H_e= 0.109 for T. wallichiana). Genetic differentiation among populations was higher(FST= 0.189) for T. chinensis and lower(0.156) for T.wallichiana, indicating limited gene flow(Nm) among populations for T. chinensis(0.68) and T. wallichiana(0.65).Variation among individuals of T. chinensis was 63.59 and73.12 % for T. wallichiana. Thus, the threatened status of the two conifers is related to a lack of genetic diversity. All populations are isolated in small forest remnants. 19Improvement of silty clay by vacuum preloading incorporated with electroosmotic method显示文摘A laboratory test was performed to assess the effectiveness of vacuum preloading incorporated with electroosmotic (EOM) treatment on silty clay (combined method) for reclamation projects like new disposal ponds, where the horizontal electrode configurations beneath the soil layer were possible and the drainage pipes and the prefabricated vertical drains (PVDs) system could be easily installed in advance before the sludge dragged from sea bed or river bed was filled into the site. Three groups of tests were conducted on the silty clay from Qinhuai River in Nanjing, China. The model is able to apply vacuum pressure at the bottom of the soil layer and a direct current electric field simultaneously. It is also possible to measure the pore pressures at different depths of soil column, and the changes in settlement and volume with the elapsed time. In this study, the vacuum preloading method, vacuum preloading applied at the bottom (VAB method), was applied and the cathodes were installed beneath the soil layer. The results obtained indicate substantial reduction in water content, and increases in dry density and undrained shear strength in comparison with those obtained by the vacuum preloading only, particularly at the positions close to the anode. The combined method utilizes the vertical drainage flow created by the electroosmosis integrating the horizontal drainage flow created mostly by the vacuum pressure. The total drainage flow can be calculated as a result of the vertical drainage flow by electroosmosis only and the horizontal drainage flow by the vacuum preloading only. The way of placement of the cathode and the anode in the combined method also overcomes the disadvantage of EOM method itself, i.e. the appearance of cracks between the anode and the surrounding soil. Moreover, it is observed that the vacuum preloading plays a primary role in earlier stage in deduction of free pore water; meanwhile, the electroosmotic method is more efficient in later stage for absorbing water in the diffused double layers of soil.M. 20Fecal lactoferrin accurately reflects mucosal inflammation in inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘BACKGROUND Studies have demonstrated a potential role for fecal biomarkers such as fecal calprotectin(FC)and fecal lactoferrin(FL)in monitoring inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD)-Crohn's disease(CD)and ulcerative colitis(UC).However,their correlation to endoscopic scores,disease severity and affected intestinal surface has not been extensively investigated.AIM To correlate FL,and for comparison white blood cell(WBC)and C-reactive protein(CRP),with endoscopic scores,disease extent and location in CD and UC.METHODS Retrospective analysis in 188 patients who had FL,CRP and WBC determined within 30 d of endoscopy.Disease location,disease extent(number of intestinal segments involved),disease severity(determined by endoscopic scores),timing of FL testing in relation to colonoscopy,as well as the use of effective fast acting medications(steroids and biologics)between colonoscopy and FL measurement,were recorded.RESULTS In 131 CD and 57 UC patients,both CRP and FL-but not WBC-distinguished disease severity(inactive,mild,moderate,severe).In patients receiving fastacting(steroids or biologics)treatment in between FL and colonoscopy,FL showed a higher correlation to endoscopic scores when tested before vs after the procedure(r=0.596,P<0.001,vs r=0.285,P=0.15 for the Simple Endoscopic Score for CD;and r=0.402,P=0.01 vs r=0.054 P=0.84 for Disease Activity Index).Finally,FL was significantly correlated with the diseased mucosal surface(colon-ileocolon>small bowel)and the number of inflamed colon segments.CONCLUSION FL and CRP separated disease severity categories with FL showing lower discriminating P-values.FL showed a close correlation with the involved mucosal surface and with disease extent and was more closely correlated to endoscopy when determined before the procedure–this indicating that inflammatory activity changes associated with therapy might be rapidly reflected by FL levels.FL can accurately and timely characterize intestinal inflammation in IBD.Marrieth G Rubio Kofi Amo-Mensah James M Gray Vu Q Nguyen Sam Nakat Douglas Grider Kim Love James H Boone Dario Sorrentino 2019World Journal of Gastrointestinal Pathophysiology2019,10,5:4
