1ECharts: A declarative framework for rapid construction of web-based visualization显示文摘While there have been a dozen of authoring systems and programming toolkits for visual design and development,users who do not have programming skills,such as data analysts or interface designers,still may feel cumbersome to efficiently implement a web-based visualization.In this paper,we present ECharts,an open-sourced,web-based,cross-platform framework that supports the rapid construction of interactive visualization.The motivation is driven by three goals:easy-touse,rich built-in interactions,and high performance.The kernel of ECharts is a suite of declarative visual design language that customizes built-in chart types.The underlying streaming architecture,together with a high-performance graphics renderer based on HTML5 canvas,enables the high expandability and performance of ECharts.We report the design,implementation,and applications of ECharts with a diverse variety of examples.We compare the utility and performance of ECharts with C3.js,HighCharts,and Chart.js.Results of the experiments demonstrate the efficiency and scalability of our framework.Since the first release in June 2013,ECharts has iterated 63 versions,and attracted over 22,000 star counts and over 1700 related projects in the GitHub.ECharts is regarded as a leading visualization development tool in the world,and ranks the third in the GitHub visualization tab.Deqing Li Honghui Mei Yi Shen Shuang Su Wenli Zhang Junting Wang Ming Zu Wei Chen 2018Visual Informatics2018,2,2:69
2Get effective polyclonal antisera in one month显示文摘According to the traditional immunization procedure, after the first injection of the sample A (emulsion of aimed antigen and Freund's complete adjuvant) to immunize rabbit, successive injections of the sample B (emulsion of aimed antigen and Freund's incomplete adjuvant) were followed every 2-4 weeks. In general,high titer of the corresponding polyclonal antisera will be observed after 4-5 injections of sample B in 3-4months. This report presents a simply modified procedure that was able to stimulate the antisera formation in one month and achieve enough avidity to satisfy either Western blot or immunohistochemistry analysis.It just applied an additional injection of the sample A to the rabbit at the 3rd day after the primary immunization injection. You could gain the high titer of the antisera right after the first sample B injection in one month. 6Antimicrobial activities of essential oil from Artemisiae argyi leaves显示文摘A study was conducted to determine the antimicrobial activities of essential oil from Artemisiae argyi leaves. The sample of the essential oil was analyzed by GC–MS. From 18 compounds representing the oils, Eucalyptole (18.42%), Spathulenol (14.32), 4-Methyl-1-(1-methylethyl)-3-cyclohexen-1-ol (3.10%), 3-Carene (2.64%) appeared as the main components. The screening of antimicrobial activity of the essential oil was evaluated using agar diffusion and broth microdilution methods. Gram-positive bacterial were more sensitive than gram-negative bacterial of the 8 microorganisms, and Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 showed the lowest MIC (0.3125%) and MBC (0.625%). In the disc diffusion assay, Staphylococcus epidermidis ATCC 49134 and Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633 showed obvious inhibitory activity. Survival curve showed that, 2MIC of Artemisiae argyi essential oil had a lethal effect on Candida albicans within the first 1 h. 9Particle size distribution and characteristics of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons during a heavy haze episode in Nanjing,China显示文摘A heavy haze episode caused by agricultural burning occurred in Nanjing from November 7 to November8,2009.PM_(10) samples were collected on normal and hazy days from November 1 to November 14,2009 at both city and suburban sites of Nanjing.Sixteen PAHs were measured during the day and at night.The results show that the concentrations of the particles were as high as 579.55 and 573.43 μg/m^3 during the haze episode at the city and suburban sites,respectively,3-4 times higher than those on a normal day.The proportions of fine particles during the haze episode were also higher than those on a normal day.The changes in the concentrations of PAHs were in accordance with the concentrations of the particles.Highmolecular-weight PAHs composed approximately 80% of the total PAHs on normal days and during the haze episode.The concentration of PAHs in fine fractions significantly increased during the haze episode,and this increase was most obvious at night at the city site.The proportion of total carcinogenic PAHs in fine particles was relatively high during the haze episode at both sampling sites,particularly at night at the city site.Qingzi Meng Shuxian Fan Jiabao He Jian Zhang Yu Sun Yue Zhang Fan Zu 2015Particuology2015,13,1:16

12RESEARCH ON HYDRODYNAMIC AND WATER QUALITY MODEL FOR TIDAL RIVER NETWORKS显示文摘Hydrodynamic and water quality model for tidal river network is set up with MIKE11 modeling system, according to the features of tidal river networks in plain area. The model was calibrated using the hydrological and water quality data of 1999, and the results show that the simulated values agree with the measured data very well. This model is used to numerically analyze the effects of low flow augmentation on hydrodynamic and water quality conditions of Suzhou Creek. 14Numerical Simulation of Electroosmotic Flow near Earthworm Surface显示文摘The electroosmotic flow near an earthworm surface is simulated numerically to further understand the anti soil adhesion mechanism of earthworm. A lattice Poisson method is employed to solve electric potential and charge distributions in the electric double layer along the earthworm surface. The external electric field is obtained by solving a Laplace equation. The electroosmotic flow controlled by the Navier-Stokes equations with external body force is simulated by the lattice Boltzmann method. A benchmark test shows that accurate electric potential distributions can be obtained by the LPM. The simulation shows that the moving vortices, which probably contribute to anti soil adhesion, are formed near earthworm body surface by the nonuniform and variational electrical force.Y.Q. Zu Y.Y. 16Effects of Friction Heat on the Tribological Properties of the Woven Self-lubricating Liner显示文摘In the dry-sliding process of the woven self-lubricating liner which is used in the self-lubricating spherical plain bearing, the friction heat plays an important role in the tribological performances of the liner. It has important value to study on the relationship between tribological performances of the liner and the friction heat. Unfortunately, up to now, published work on this relationship is quite scarce. Therefore, the effect of friction heat on the tribological performances of the liner was investigated in the present work. The tribological behaviors of the liner were evaluated by using the high temperature end surface wear tester. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was utilized to examine the morphologies of worn surfaces of the liner and study the failure modes. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurement and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis were performed to study the behaviors of the wear debris. The temperature rise on the worn surface was calculated according to classical models. SEM observation shows that the dominating wear mechanism for the liner is mainly affected by friction shear force, contact pressure and friction heat. Higher fusion heat for the wear debris than that for the pure polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE) indicates that the PTFE is the main portion of the wear debris, and, the PTFE in the wear debris shows a higher crystallisation degree owing to the effects of friction shear force and the friction heat. Combining the calculated temperature rise results with the wear rate of the liner, it can be concluded that the effects of temperature rise on the tribological performances of the liner become more obvious when the temperature rise exceeds the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the PTFE. The wear resistance of the liner deteriorates dramatically when the temperature rise approaches to the melting point (Ton) of the PTFE. The tribological performances of the liner can be improved when the temperature rise exceeds Tg but is far lower than Ton. 19Arsenite oxidation by three types of manganese oxides显示文摘Oxidation of As(Ⅲ) by three types of manganese oxides and the e ffects of pH, ion strength and tartaric acid on the oxi- dation were investiga ted by means of chemical analysis, equilibrium redox, X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). Three synthesized Mn oxide minerals, bir nessite, cryptomelane, and hausmannite, which widely occur in soil and sediments , could actively oxidize As(Ⅲ) to As(V). However, their ability in As(Ⅲ) -oxidation varied greatly depending on their structure, composition and surface properties. Tunnel structured cryptomelane exhibited the highest ability of As( Ⅲ) oxidation, fol- lowed by the layer structured birnessite and the lower oxid e hausmannite. The maximum amount of As(V) produced by the oxidation was in the order(mmol/kg) of cryptomelane(824.2) > birnessite(480.4) > hausmannite(117.9). As pH increased from the very low value(pH 2.5), the amount of As(Ⅲ) oxidized by the tested Mn oxides was firstly decreased, then negatively peaked in pH 3.0 —6.5, and eventually increased remarkably. Oxidation of As(Ⅲ) by the Mn oxides had a buffering effects on the pH variation in the solution. It is proposed th at the oxidative reaction processes between As(Ⅲ) and birnessite(or cryptomel ane) are as follows: (1) at lower pH condition: (MnO2)x + H3AsO3 + 0.5H+ 0 .5H2AsO4- + 0.5HAsO42- +Mn2++ (MnO2)x-1 + H2O; (2) at higher pH condition: (MnO2 )x + H3AsO3 0.5H2AsO4- + 0.5HAsO42- + 1.5H+ + (MnO2)x-1·MnO. With increa se of ion strength, the As(Ⅲ) oxidized by birnessite and cryptomelane decreased and was negatively correlated with ion strength. However, ion strength had litt le influence on As (Ⅲ) oxid- ation by the hausmannite. The presence of tart aric acid promoted oxidation of As(Ⅲ) by birnessite. As for cryptomelane and haus- mannite, the same effect was observed when the concentration of tartar ic acid was below 4 mmol/L, otherwise the oxidized As(Ⅲ) decreased. 20Transmission patterns of COVID-19 in the mainland of China and the efficacy of different control strategies: a data-and model-driven study显示文摘Background:The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)outbreak has seriously endangered the health and lives of Chinese people.In this study,we predicted the COVID-19 epidemic trend and estimated the efficacy of several intervention strategies in the mainland of China.Methods:According to the COVID-19 epidemic status,we constructed a compartmental model.Based on reported data from the National Health Commission of People's Republic of China during January 10-February 17,2020,we estimated the model parameters.We then predicted the epidemic trend and transmission risk of COVID-19.Using a sensitivity analysis method,we estimated the efficacy of several intervention strategies.Results:The cumulative number of confirmed cases in the mainland of China will be 86763(95%CI:86067-87460)on May 2,2020.Up until March 15,2020,the case fatality rate increased to 6.42%(95%CI:6.16-6.68%).On February 23,2020,the existing confirmed cases reached its peak,with 60890 cases(95%CI:60350-61431).On January 23,2020,the effective reproduction number was 2.620(95%CI:2.567-2.676)and had dropped below 1.0 since February 5,2020.Due to governmental intervention,the total number of confirmed cases was reduced by 99.85%on May 2,2020.Had the isolation been relaxed from February 24,2020,there might have been a second peak of infection.However,relaxing the isolation after March 16,2020 greatly reduced the number of existing confirmed cases and deaths.The total number of confirmed cases and deaths would increase by 8.72 and 9.44%,respectively,due to a 1-day delayed diagnosis in non-isolated infected patients.Moreover,if the coverage of close contact tracing was increased to 100%,the cumulative number of confirmed cases would be decreased by 88.26%on May 2,2020.Conclusions:The quarantine measures adopted by the Chinese government since January 23,2020 were necessary and effective.Postponing the relaxation of isolation,early diagnosis,patient isolation,broad close-contact tracing,and strict monitoring of infected persons could effectively control the COVID-19 epidemic.April 1,2020 would be a reasonable date to lift quarantine in Hubei and Wuhan.Jian Zu Miao-Lei Li Zong-Fang Li Ming-Wang Shen Yan-Ni Xiao Fan-Pu Ji 2020Infectious Diseases of Poverty2020,9,4:11
