| 4 | High molecular karyotype variation revealed in indigenous Elymus nutans in the Qinghai Plateau显示文摘The karyotypes of 27 individuals of Elymus nutans from eight wild populations in the Qinghai Plateau were analyzed using sequential FISH and GISH. High FISH pattern polymorphism and karyotype variation were detected within and among populations. The chromosome variations were mainly characterized as repeat deletions and amplifications along with inter-genomic translocations. The chromosomes of the St and Y genomes demonstrated higher polymorphism than those of the H genome. Six different intergenomic translocations were identified in 33.3% of individuals; type Ⅰ and Ⅱ translocations were detected with higher frequency. Further analysis revealed that type Ⅰ and Ⅱ translocations were distributed in different geographic regions. | 6 | Confining MOF-derived SnSe nanoplatelets in nitrogen-doped graphene cages via direct CVD for durable sodium ion storage显示文摘Tin-based compounds are deemed as suitable anode candidates affording promising sodium-ion storages for rechargeable batteries andhybrid capacitors.However,synergistically tailoring the electrical conductivity and structural stability of tin-based anodes to attain durablesodium-ion storages remains challenging to date for its practical applications.Herein,metal-organic framework(MOF)derived SnSe/C wrappedwithin nitrogen-doped graphene(NG@SnSe/C)is designed targeting durable sodium-ion storage.NG@SnSe/C possesses favorable electricalconductivity and structure stability due to the'inner'carbon framework from the MOF thermal treatment and'outer'graphitic cage from thedirect chemical vapor deposition synthesis.Consequently,NG@SnSe/C electrode can obtain a high reversible capacity of 650 mAh·g^-1 at 0.05 A·g^1,a favorable rate performance of 287.8 mAh·g^1 at 5 A·g^1 and a superior cycle stability with a negligible capacity decay of 0.016%percycle over 3,200 cycles at 0.4 A·g^1.Theoretical calculations reveal that the nitrogen-doping in graphene can stabilize the NG@SnSe/Cstructure and improve the electrical conductivity.The reversible Na-ion storage mechanism of SnSe is further investigated by in-situ X-raydiffraction/ex-s/tu transmission electron microscopy.Furthermore,assembled sodium-ion hybrid capacitor full-cells comprising our NG@SnSe/Canode and an active carbon cathode harvest a high energy/power density of 115.5 Wh·kg^-1/5,742 W·kg^-1,holding promise for next-generationen ergy storages. | Chen Lu Zhenzhu Li Zhou Xia Haina Ci Jingsheng Cai Yingze Song Lianghao Yu Wanjian Yin Shixue Dou Jingyu Sun Zhongfan Liu | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,12: | 7 |
| 7 | Non-limit passive soil pressure on rigid retaining walls显示文摘This paper aims to reveal the depth distribution law of non-limit passive soil pressure on rigid retaining wall that rotates about the top of the wall(rotation around the top(RT) model). Based on Coulomb theory, the disturbance degree theory, as well as the spring-element model, by setting the rotation angle of the wall as the disturbance parameter, we establish both a depth distribution function for sand and a nonlinear depth distribution calculation method for the non-limit passive soil pressure on a rigid retaining wall under the RT model, which is then compared with experiment. The results suggest that under the RT model: the non-limit soil pressure has a nonlinear distribution; the backfill disturbance degree and the lateral soil pressure increase with an increase in the wall rotation angle; and, the points where the resultant lateral soil pressure acts on the retaining wall are less than 2/3 of the height of the wall. | 10 | Phase equilibria for the pseudo-ternary system(NaCl+Na2SO4+H2O)of coal gasification wastewater at T=(268.15 to 373.15)K显示文摘The pseudo-ternary system(Na Cl + Na_2SO_4+ H_2O) of coal gasification wastewater was studied at T =(268.15 to 373.15) K. The solubility and density of the equilibrium liquid phase were determined by the isothermal solution saturation method. The equilibrium solids were also investigated by the Schreinemaker's method of wet residues and X-ray powder diffraction(XRD). According to the experimental data, the phase diagrams were determined. It was found that there was no significant solubility difference on the Na Cl-rich side between the ternary system(Na Cl + Na_2SO_4+ H_2O) in coal gasification wastewater and in pure water. However, the solubility on the Na_2SO_4-rich side of coal gasification wastewater was apparently higher than that of pure water. The increase in the solubility of Na_2SO_4 was most likely caused by the effects of other impurities apart from Na Cl and Na_2SO_4 in coal gasification wastewater. | 12 | Utility of adenovirus-mediated Fas ligand and bcl-2 gene transfer to modulate rat liver allograft survival显示文摘BACKGROUND: Expression of Fas ligand (FasL) on the graft by gene transduction is expected to introduce apoptosis to lymphocytes to protect rejection, but the FasL-expressing graft cells may also induce apoptosis as the graft usually expresses Fas antigens. In this study, a strong antiapoptotic gene, bcl-2, was cotransfected with the FasL gene in rat liver graft to protect against Fas- mediated cell death and to prolong recipient survival. METHODS: Orthotopic liver transplantation was done in a strain combination of DA to LEW rats. After donor vascular isolation, adenovirus-mediated FasL and bcl-2 genes were cotransfected in the liver graft. RESULTS: Intragraft expression of FasL mRNA was constitutively expressed after adenovirus-mediated transduction, although expression of FasL increased mildly in control grafts. Bcl-2 mRNA was highly expressed at 2 days after reperfusion. In contrast, lower expression of bcl-2 was observed in the control group. The average survival of the gene transferred allografts increased from (9.8+1.3) days to (18.5+8.7) days compared with the control group. | 13 | Long non-coding RNA HOTAIRM1 promotes proliferation and inhibits apoptosis of glioma cells by regulating the miR-873-5p/ZEB2 axis显示文摘Background:Glioblastoma is one of the most common malignant brain tumors.Conventional clinical treatment of glioblastoma is not sufficient,and the molecular mechanism underlying the initiation and development of this disease remains unclear.Our study aimed to explore the expression and function of miR-873a-5p in glioblastoma and related molecular mechanism.Methods:We analyzed the most dysregulated microRNAs from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database and examined the expression of miR-873-5p in 20 glioblastoma tissues compared with ten normal brain tissues collected in the Zhejiang Tongde Hospital.We then overexpressed or inhibited miR-873-5p expression in U87 glioblastoma cell lines and analyzed the phenotype using the cell counting kit-8 assay,wound healing assay,and apoptosis.In addition,we predicted upstream and downstream genes of miR-873-5p in glioblastoma using bioinformatics analysis and tested our hypothesis in U87 cells using the luciferase reporter gene assay and Western blotting assay.The differences between two groups were analyzed by Student’s t test.The Kruskal-Wallis test was used for the comparison of multiple groups.A P<0.05 was considered to be significant.Results:The miR-873-5p was downregulated in glioblastoma tissues compared with that in normal brain tissues(normal vs.tumor,0.762±0.231 vs.0.378±0.114,t=4.540,P<0.01).Overexpression of miR-873-5p inhibited cell growth(t=6.095,P<0.01)and migration(t=3.142,P<0.01)and promoted cell apoptosis(t=4.861,P<0.01),while inhibition of miR-873-5p had the opposite effect.Mechanistically,the long non-coding RNA HOTAIRM1 was found to act as a sponge of miR-873-5p to activate ZEB2 expression in U87 cells.Conclusions:We uncovered a novel HOTAIRM1/miR-873-5p/ZEB2 axis in glioblastoma cells,providing new insight into glioblastoma progression and a theoretical basis for the treatment of glioblastoma. | Yi-Hai Lin Liang Guo Feng Yan Zhang-Qi Dou Qian Yu Gao Chen | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020,,2: | 5 |
| 14 | Computer Controlled Polishing of the Off-axis Aspheric Mirrors显示文摘In this paper, the manufacturing and testing procedures to make large off-axis aspherical mirrors are presented. The difficulties in polishing and testing for both circular aperture and rectangular aperture mirrors are previewed, and a possible solution is given. The two mirrors have been polished by means of CCOS, and the final accuracy is 25nm rms for 770mm×210mm rectangular mirror and 20nm rms for φ600mm circular mirror. | 15 | Identification and expression analysis of group Ⅲ WRKY transcription factors in cotton显示文摘The WRKY proteins constitute a large family of transcription factors in plants containing highly conserved WRKYGQK sequences and zinc-finger-like motifs. To comprehensively study WRKY III genes in cotton, we analyzed the genome sequences of Gossypium hirsutum, G. raimondii and G. arboreum. According to the three genome sequences, 18 group III Gh WRKY genes were identified in G. hirsutum, 12 both in G. raimondii and G. arboreum. Phylogenetic and motif analysis showed that proteins with high similarities could be clustered together and had the same motif components. The ratios of non-synonymous(Ka) to synonymous(Ks) of the Gh WRKY to Gr WRKY or Ga WRKY were lower than 1, which indicated that group III WRKY genes in Gossypium species are under purifying selection. Expression analysis revealed that group III Gh WRKY genes expressed during fiber development and leaf senescence, and most of them could be induced by salicylic acid(SA), jasmonic acid(JA), ethylene, abscisic acid(ABA), mannitol, and Na Cl both in roots and cotyledons.
