| 1 | Geochemistry and petrogenesis of Jurassic high Sr/low Y granitoids in eastern China: Constrains on crustal thickness显示文摘The Jurassic high Sr/low Y granitoids in eastern China are characterized by high Sr/Y (27-166) and La/Yb (14-66) ratios, low abundance in Y (6-21μg/g) and Yb (0.5-2.0μg/g), comparable with those of adakites defined by Defant et al. Thus, they were recently considered as adakitic rocks by some researchers. Compared with the typical adakites in circum-Pacific margins, however, these high Sr/low Y granitoids have higher K2O (-3.5%) but lower A12O3 (-16.0%) as well as lower Mg#(-38) and δSrN (-1.23) values. Furthermore, they show relatively flat HREE patterns with Y/Yb values of -10 close to the chondritic value. These geochemical characteristics indicate a residue mineral assemblage of hornblende, garnet and plagioclase for these high Sr/low Y granitoids melt. Thus, they were generated by partial melting at 9-13 kbar (30-45 km in depth), similar to the Archaean high-Al TTG rather than the modern adakites. | 2 | Induction of apoptosis by arsenic trioxide and hydroxycamptothecin in gastric cancer cells in vitro显示文摘AIM To study the effects of arsenic trioxide andHCPT on different degrees of differentiated gastriccancer cells(SGC-7901,MKN-45,MKN-28)withrespect to both cytotoxicity and induction ofapoptosis in vitro.METHODS The cytotoxicity of As2O3 and HCPTon gastric cancer cells was determined by MTTassay.Morphologic changes of apoptosis ofgastric cancer cells were observed by lightmicroscopy and transmission electron microscopy.Apoptosis and cell cycle changes of gastric cancercells induced by HCPT and As2O3 were investigatedby TUNEL method and flow cytometry.RESULTS As2O3 and HCPT had remarkablecytotoxic effects on different degrees ofdifferentiated gastric cancer cells.The IC50ofAs2O3 on well differentiated gastric cancer cellMKN-28,moderately differentiated gastric cancercell SGC-7901,and poorly differentiated gastriccancer cell MKN-28 were 8.91 μmol/L,10.57μmol/L,and 11.65 μmol/L,respectively.The IC50of HCPT on MKN-28,SGC-7901,and MKN-45 were9.35 mg/L,10.21 mg/L,and 12.63 mg/Lrespectively after 48 h treatment.After 12 h ofexposure to both drugs,gastric cancer cellsexhibited morphologic features of apoptosis,including cell shrinkage,nuclear condensation, and formation of apoptotic bodies.A typicalsubdiploid peak before G0/G1 phase was observedby flow cytometry.The apoptotic rates of SGC-7901,MKN-45,and MKN-28 were 13.84%,22.52%,and 9.68%,respectively after 48 hexposure to 10 μmol/L As2O3.The apoptotic ratesof SGC-7901,MKN-45,and MKN-28 were 21.88%,12.35%,and 30.26%,respectively after 48 hexposure to 10 mg/L HCPT.The apoptotic indicewere 7%-15% as assessed by TUNEL method.The effect of As2O3 on SGC-7901 showedremarkable cell cycle specificity,which inducedcell death in G1 phase,and blocked G2/M phase.HCPT also showed a remarkable cell cyclespecificity,by inducing cell death and apoptosis inG1 phase and arrest of proliferation at S phase.CONCLUSION As2O3 and HCPT exhibitsignificant cytotoxicity on gastric cancer cells byinduction of apoptosis.As2O3 and HCPT mighthave a promising prospect in the treatment ofgastric cancer,which needs to be further studied. | Tu SP Zhong J Tan JH Jiang XH Qiao MM Wu YX Jiang SH | 2000 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2000，6，4： | 43 |

| 9 | High expression levels of IKK alpha and IKK beta are necessary for the malignant properties of liver cancer显示文摘IKK-NF-kappa B signaling is regarded as an important factor in hepatocarcinogenesis and a potential target for liver cancer therapy.Therefore,in this study,we analyzed the expression of mRNAs encoding components and targets of NF-kappa B signaling including IKK alpha,IKK beta,RANK,RANKL,OPG,CyclinD3,mammary serine protease inhibitor(Maspin),CyclinD1,c-FLIP,Bcl-x1,Stat3,Cip1 and Cip2 by real-time PCR in 40 patients with liver cancer.After statistical analysis,7 indices including IKK alpha,IKK beta,RANK,Maspin,c-FLIP,Cip2 and cyclinD1 were found to show significant differences between tumor tissue and its corresponding adjacent tissue.When IKK alpha and IKK beta were downregulated in the hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) cell lines of MHCC-97L and MHCC-97H in vitro,the numbers of BrdU positive cells were decreased in both IKK alpha and IKK beta knockdown cells.Levels of apoptosis were also investigated in IKK alpha and IKK beta knockdown cells.The growth of HCC was inhibited in the subcutaneous implantation model,and lung metastatogenesis was also significantly inhibited in the kidney capsule transplantation model.Downregulation of IKK alpha and IKK beta in HCC cultured in vitro revealed that increased Maspin,OPG and RANKL expression was associated with metastasis of HCC.These findings were associated with downregulation of Bcl-XL and c-FLIP,which may be the reason for increased apoptosis.The therapeutic effect of IKK alpha and IKK beta downregulation depends on extent of NF-kappa B inhibition and the malignant nature of the HCC.We anticipate that IKK-targeted gene therapy can be used in the treatment of HCC,a cancer that is notoriously resistant to radiation and chemotherapy. | Jiang,RQ Xia,YX Li,J Deng,L Zhao,L Shi,J Wang,XH Sun,BC Nanjing Med Univ,Liver Transplantat Ctr,Affiliated Hosp 1,Nanjing,Jiangsu Prov,Peoples R China Nanjing Med Univ,Ctr Canc,Nanjing,Jiangsu Prov,Peoples R China | 2010 | 南京医科大学学报(自然科学版)2010，30，5： | 13 |

In this note, the ERS-2 orbit is precisely determined by using SLR and PRARE observations to take advantage of the high accuracy of SLR and the widespread data coverage of PRARE. Based on the software system SODS-VCE established by us, the ERS-2 orbits in 1997 are calculated. The evaluation from tracking data fits, endpoint consistency of orbital arcs and comparison with independent orbit implies an orbit accuracy of 5-6 cm in radial component which can satisfy the requirement of being better than 10 cm in oceanographic research by altimetry, being less than 20 cm in cross-track component which can meet the requirement of InSAR. In orbit computation, the method of variance component estimation is employed to weight the SLR, PRARE range and Doppler measurements properly. Compared with grain activated carbon (GAC), the results were as follows: (1) The adsorption performance of Viscose-based ACF (VACF-As) was the best among all absorbents tested. VACF-A3 was the superior xenon absorbent.
