1Downregulation of electroacupuncture at ST36 on TNF-α in rats with ulcerative colitis显示文摘AIM: To investigate the regulatory effect of electroacupuncture (EA) at Zusanli (ST36) on tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα) in rats with ulcerative colitis (UC), and further elucidate the therapeutic mechanism of EA on UC.METHODS: Thirty-two male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into four groups (n=-8): normal control group, UC control group, UC+ST36 group and UC+nonacupoint group. A solution containing ethanol and 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS) was instilled into the distal colon in the rat (at a dose of 100 mg/kg) to set up UC rat model. Rats in wakefulness state of UC+ST36 group were stimulated at ST36 by EA once a day, while those of UC+nonacupoint group were done at 0.5 cm beside ST36. After 10d treatment, all rats were sacrificed simultaneously. Colon musocal inflammation and damage were assessed by measuring colon mass, morphologic damage score, colonic myeloperoxidase enzyme (MPO) activity, serum TNF-α and colonic TNF-α mRNA level. Morphologic damage score was examined under stereomicroscope. Colonic MPO activity was measured by spectrophotometer method. Serum TNF-αconcentration was determined by radioimmunoassay (RIA).Colonic TNF-α mRNA expression level was analyzed by semiquantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).RESULTS: Ratio of colonic mass/body mass (mC/mB) and activity of colonic MPO (μkat/g tissue) markedly increased (8.5±2.6 vs 2.5±0.4; 145±25 vs 24±8, P<0.01 vs normal control group). Compared with normal control rats, serum TNF-α and colonic TNF-α mRNA level in UC control group were increased 2.5 fold (2 278±170 vs 894±248, P<0.01)and 4.3 fold (0.98±0.11 vs 0.23±0.11, P<0.01)respectively. After EA at ST36, mc/mB and MPO activity were reduced significantly (5.3±2.0 vs 8.5±2.6; 104±36 vs145±25, P<0.01, 0.05) compared with those of UC control group. Serum TNF-α and colonic TNF-α mRNA level were inhibited by EA stimulation at ST36 (P<0.01). The inhibitory rate was 16 % and 44 % respectively.Morphologic damage score was also increased markedly in rat with UC (P<0.01), whereas it was decreased by EA at ST36 (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between UC control group and UC+EA at non-acupoint (P>0.05). Furthermore, these parameters were highly correlated with each other (P<0.01).CONCLUSION: Serum TNF-α concentration and colonic TNF-α mRNA expression level are increased significantly in UC rats in correlation with the severity of disease. It indicates that TNF-α is closely involved in the immune abnormalities and inflammatory responses in UC. EA at ST36 has therapeutic effect on UC by downregulating serum TNF-r and colonic TNF-r mRNA expression. 6Pipe-assembly approach for ships using modified NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm显示文摘Pipe-routing for ship is formulated as searching for the near-optimal pipe paths while meeting certain objectives in an environment scattered with obstacles. Due to the complex construction in layout space, the great number of pipelines, numerous and diverse design constraints and large amount of obstacles, finding the optimum route of ship pipes is a complicated and time-consuming process. A modified NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm based approach is proposed to find the near-optimal solution to solve the problem. By simplified equipment models, the layout space is firstly divided into three dimensional(3D) grids to build its mathematical model. In the modified NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm, the concept of auxiliary point is introduced to improve the search range of maze algorithm(MA) as well as to guarantee the diversity of chromosomes in initial population. Then the fix-length coding mechanism is proposed, Fuzzy set theory is also adopted to select the optimal solution in Pareto solutions. Finally, the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach is demonstrated by the contrast test and simulation. 16Predictably synthesizing a library of white-light-emitting perovskites显示文摘The low-dimensional organic-inorganic halide perovskites with self-trapped exciton emission have promising prospects for single-phase white-light emitters. However, so far, these broadband white-light-emitting(BWLE) perovskites were synthesized by trial-and-error testing spacing molecules. Here, we developed a steric hindrance regulation strategy to predictably synthesize BWLE perovskites. The molecules containing C–C(–NH_(2))–C groups were introduced into low-dimensional perovskites, which brings a large steric hindrance in-plane orientation. The bigger C–C(–NH_(2))–C bond angle would induce larger structural distortion in perovskites, which leads to the higher rate of self-trapping of excitons and the deeper self-trapping depth. The photoluminescence spectra of the synthesized perovskites can cover the cool-to-warm white light region. Overall, we fabricated a material library consisting of 40 kinds of BWLE compounds according to this strategy. 20Interface engineering in two-dimensional heterostructures towards novel emitters显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D) semiconductors have captured broad interest as light emitters, due to their unique excitonic effects. These layer-blocks can be integrated through van der Waals assembly, i.e., fabricating homo-or heterojunctions, which show novel emission properties caused by interface engineering. In this review, we will first give an overview of the basic strategies that have been employed in interface engineering, including changing components, adjusting interlayer gap, and tuning twist angle. By modifying the interfacial factors, novel emission properties of emerging excitons are unveiled and discussed. Generally, well-tailored interfacial energy transfer and charge transfer within a 2D heterostructure cause static modulation of the brightness of intralayer excitons. As a special case, dynamically correlated dual-color emission in weakly-coupled bilayers will be introduced, which originates from intermittent interlayer charge transfer. For homobilayers and type Ⅱ heterobilayers, interlayer excitons with electrons and holes residing in neighboring layers are another important topic in this review. Moreover, the overlap of two crystal lattices forms moiré patterns with a relatively large period, taking effect on intralayer and interlayer excitons. Particularly, theoretical and experimental progresses on spatially modulated moiré excitons with ultra-sharp linewidth and quantum emission properties will be highlighted. Moiré quantum emitter provides uniform and integratable arrays of single photon emitters that are previously inaccessible, which is essential in quantum many-body simulation and quantum information processing.
