1Smashing Tissue Extraction and GC Analysis of Active Fatty Acids from Oil Cake of Perilla Seeds显示文摘Objective To optimize the extraction technology of perilla seeds oil from the oil cake of perilla seeds(OCPS)by using the contents of active fatty acids as evaluation standard.Methods The fatty acids were extracted from OCPS,the residue of perilla seeds after cold-press,by smashing tissue extraction(STE),the new technology selected through comparing with classical leaching extraction(LE),Soxhlet extraction(SE),ultrasonic extraction(UE),and supercritical-CO2 fluid extraction(SFE).For optimized condition of STE,orthogonal test was designed and completed.The contents of five fatty acids in extracted oil and OCPS were determined by GC.Results The optimized extraction parameters were smashing for 1.5 min under extraction power of 150 W and 1:6 of the material/solvent ratio.The contents of five fatty acids in the oils extracted by five techniques from OCPS and determined by GC were as follows:α-linolenic acid(41.12%-51.81%),linoleic acid(15.38%-16.43%),oleic acid (18.93%-27.28%),stearic acid(2.56%-4.01%),and palmitic acid(7.38%-10.77%).Conclusion The results show that STE is the most efficient technology with the highest yield(LE:0.57%;SE:1.03%;UE:0.61%;SFE:0.80%;STE: 1.17%)and shortest time(LE:720 min;SE:360 min;UE:30 min;SFE:120 min;STE:1.5 min)among five tested extraction technologies.It is first reported using STE to extract herbal oil enriched with active fatty acids.SUN Yan-ling1,LIU Yan-ze2,3,XIAO Han4,WEI Ying-feng4,ZHAO Yu-qing1,5 1.Shenyang Pharmaceutical University,Shenyang 110006,China 2.Bio-organic and Natural Product Laboratory,MRC 311,McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School,Belmont,MA 02478,USA 3.Institute of Medicinal Plant Development,Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences,Beijing 100193,China 4.Liaoning Jiashi Nutritional Plant Oil Development Co.Ltd.,Shenyang 110035,China 5.Key Laboratory of Structure-Based Drug Design&Discovery,Shenyang Pharmaceutical University,Ministry of Education,Shenyang 110016,China 2011Chinese Herbal Medicines2011,3,1:5
2Mesh theory of angle modified dual tori double-enveloping toroidal worm drive显示文摘In this paper, the meshing theory of the angle modified hourglass worm drive is enriched and developed. The ordinary condition of the angle modification is derived and the physical significance of the modification is interpreted. A normal section methodology is proposed for meshing analysis, which can be used to compute the normal distance near a singular meshing point of a conjugate surface couple. By means of the method and after analyzing the normal transversals, it is specified that the worm helicoid, the nominal former contact zone and the new contact zone intersect each other along the locus of singular points of the instantaneous contact lines of an angle-modified worm pair. As a result, it is explained clearly that those three osculate each other but the osculations are different in degree. Moreover, the mechanism of removing the twice-contacted zone from the worm gear tooth surface is clarified and the reason of shortening the worm working length is also elucidated. 3GPU-based dynamic quad stream for forest rendering显示文摘Rendering large-scale forest scenes in real-time is a challenging problem, since the geometric complexity is far beyond the capabilities of current graphics hardware. In this paper, we propose a novel approach that adopts a dynamic quad stream residing on GPU buffers for view-dependent forest rendering. The incremental quad stream updating process is well-suited to the massively parallel architecture of the GPU pipeline, and it requires no continuous data exchange between CPU and GPU. The implementation of the algorithm is quite straightforward. 4Interleukin-10 gene polymorphisms and hepatocellular carcinoma susceptibility:A meta-analysis显示文摘AIM: To assess the association between Interleu-kin-10 (IL-10) gene IL-10-1082 (G/A), IL-10-592(C/A), IL-10-819 (T/C) polymorphisms and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) susceptibility.METHODS: Two investigators independently searched the Medline, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Chinese Biomedicine Database. Summary odds ratios (ORs) and 95% conf idence intervals (95% CIs) for IL-10 polymorphisms and HCC were cal-culated in a fixed-effects model (the Mantel-Haenszel method) and a random-effects model (the DerSimonian and Laird method) when appropriate. RESULTS: This meta analysis included seven eligiblestudies, which included 1012 HCC cases and 2308 controls. Overall, IL-10-1082 G/A polymorphism was not associated with the risk of HCC (AA vs AG + GG, OR = 1.11, 95% CI = 0.90-1.37). When stratifying for ethnicity, the results were similar (Asian, OR = 1.12, 95% CI = 0.87-1.44; non-Asian, OR = 1.10, 95% CI = 0.75-1.60). In the overall analysis, the IL-10 polymorphism at position -592 (C/A) was identified as a genetic risk factor for HCC among Asians; patients carrying the IL-10-592*C allele had an increased risk of HCC (OR = 1.29, 95% CI = 1.12-1.49). No association was observed between the IL-10-819 T/C polymorphism and HCC susceptibility (TT vs TC + CC, OR = 1.02, 95% CI = 0.79-1.32).CONCLUSION: This meta-analysis suggests that IL-10-592 A/C polymorphism may be associated with HCC among Asians. 17FIELD INVESTIGATION OF TEMPERATURE AND DO OF THE ERTAN RESERVOIR DURING OPERATION PERIOD显示文摘The Ertan hydropower station at the Yalong River of Southwest Sichuan Province. It is one of the biggest installed capacity hydropower stations in China. The main stream reservoir length reaches 145km and the branch Ganyu River reaches 40km under normal storage level. The reservoir surface covers 101km 2 area, and has 5.8 billonm 3 capacity. It began water storage since May 1998. The first generator was in operation in August 1998. The project was finished at 2000. The Ertan reservoir is a typical riverway style one. In order to understand the thermal effect, Dissolved Oxygen (DO) distribution and outlet flow temperature under reservoir storage condition, three field measurements were carried out in January, April, and July of 2000, respectively. The measured results are analyzed in the paper. 19INVESTIGATION OF DAMAGES CAUSED BY ABRASION AND IMPACT OF GRAVEL BED LOAD ON HYDRAULIC STRUCTURES显示文摘When gravel bed load deposits are sluiced from hydraulic structures, the mo- tion of bed load over the apron, as is well known, may consist of sliding, rolling and saltation. At times, saltation may become so intensive that gravels have been observed to jump clear out of the water surface. The movement of gravel bed load may cause serious damages to the hydraulic structures through abrasion and im- pact. The extent of damage depends upon a number of factors, such as rock prop- erties of gravels, flow conditions, configuration as well as the strength of materials of hydraulic structures. In most cases the movement of gravel bed load takes place in ribbons in plan, consequently, the lateral distribution of damages is uneven, and protective measures to be adopted against abrasion and impact should be applied to the key part most frequently attacked by the gravel bed load.
