1Roles of Te and Mn in the two phases of manganite with nominal composition La_(0.6)Sr_(0.1)Te_xMnO_3显示文摘Powder samples with nominal composition La0.6Sr0.1TexMnO3 (x = 0.00, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20) were prepared using the sol-gel method with thermal treatment up to 1473 K. On the basis of powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric and magnetic measurements, it was found that almost all of the Te and a few of the Mn ions were lost from the samples when they were calcined at 1473 K. 2Self-collapse of Dumbbell Domains in Garnet Bubble Films显示文摘The self-collapse phenomenon of dumbbell domains was studied experimentally.The coincidence of the bias field region of self-collapse with that of collapse for both the first and second kinds of dumbbells manifests that two necessary conditions for self-collapse are:(1)sufficiently high number of vertical Bloch lines(VBLs)in their walls and(2)these VBLs are in high compression,and there exists the similarity between self-collapse and collapse in mechanism.NIE Xiangfu TANG Guide HAN Baoshan 1991Chinese Physics Letters1991,8,8:1

4Enhanced room temperature magnetoresistance in maganites La_(0.60)Sr_(0.25-y)Na_(0.15)Δ_yMnO_(31)显示文摘Bulk polycrystalline samples of La0.60Sr0.4MnO3 and La0.60Sr0.25-yNa0.15ΔyMnO3 with 0.00≤y≤0.15 (“Δ” representing cation vacancy) were successfully synthesized using the sol-gel method. The structural, magnetic, and electrical properties of the polycrystalline of the samples were investigated. The results of X-ray powder diffraction patterns show that these compounds crystallize in a distorted rhombohedral structure with the space group R3C. The measurement shows that, with vacancy content y increasing, the unit cell volume V of samples increases, furthermore, the Curie temperature TC decreases. The temperature dependence of resistivity shows that all samples undergo a metal-semiconductor transition accompanying a ferromagnetic to paramagnetic transition with the increase of temperature. Under an applied filed of 1.8 T, a maximum room temperature magnetoresistance (MR) of 20% is obtained at 293 K for the compound La0.60Sr0.1Na0.15Δ0.15MnO3. The MR peak value of La0.60Sr0.1Na0.15Δ0.15MnO3 increases 2 times more than that of La0.60Sr0.40MnO3 (MRP=6.4%, TMR=373 K), and the MR peak is shifted from 373 K to room temperature.TANG Guide ZHAO Fuwei LI Zhuangzhi HOU Denglu ZHAO Xu LI Zhiqing 2006Rare Metals2006,25,z1:0
5Behavior of Mn^(2+) in perovskite manganites with nominal composition La_(0.6-x)Nd_xSr_(0.1)MnO_3显示文摘The fact that there are Mn^(2+) at the A sites in the ABO_3 perovskite phase of manganites with the nominal composition La_(0.6-x)Nd_xSr_(0.1)MnO_3 showed by detailed experimental study and theoretical calculations.The magnetic moments of these Mn^(2+) are antiparallel to those of the Mn ions at the B sites.The content of the Mn^(2+) increases as the average ionic radius,,of the ions at A sites decreases,resulting in the experimentally observed phenomenon that the content of the Mn_3O_4 phase in the manganites decreases with decreasing .Li, Yanfeng Ji, Denghui Liu, Shaopeng Tang, Guide Li, Zhuangzhi Yao, Yuxi Hou, Denglu Zhu, Minggang 2012Rare Metals2012,31,4:0
