| 2 | 优化船用柴油机的性能以减少氧化硫SO_x排放物的形成显示文摘Optimization procedures are required to minimize the amount of fuel consumption and exhaust emissions from marine engines.This study discusses the procedures to optimize the performance of any marine engine implemented in a 0D/1D numerical model in order to achieve lower values of exhaust emissions.From that point,an extension of previous simulation researches is presented to calculate the amount of SOx emissions from two marine diesel engines along their load diagrams based on the percentage of sulfur in the marine fuel used.The variations of SOx emissions are computed in g/k W·h and in parts per million(ppm)as functions of the optimized parameters:brake specific fuel consumption and the amount of air-fuel ratio respectively.Then,a surrogate model-based response surface methodology is used to generate polynomial equations to estimate the amount of SOx emissions as functions of engine speed and load.These developed non-dimensional equations can be further used directly to assess the value of SOx emissions for different percentages of sulfur of the selected or similar engines to be used in different marine applications. | Mina Tadros Manuel Ventura C.Guedes Soares | 2020 | Journal of Marine Science and Application2020，19，3： | 4 |
| 3 | Serrated lesions:A challenging enemy显示文摘The serrated pathway accounts for 30%-35%of colorectal cancer(CRC).Unlike hyperplastic polyps,both sessile serrated lesions(SSLs)and traditional serrated adenomas are premalignant lesions,yet SSLs are considered to be the principal serrated precursor of CRCs.Serrated lesions represent a challenge in detection,classification,and removal–contributing to post-colonoscopy cancer.Therefore,it is of the utmost importance to characterize these lesions properly to ensure complete removal.A retrospective cohort study developed a diagnostic scoring system for SSLs to facilitate their detection endoscopically and subsequent removal.From the study,it can be ascertained that both indistinct border and mucus cap are essential in both recognizing and diagnosing serrated lesions.The proximal colon poses technical challenges for some endoscopists,which is why high-quality colonoscopy plays such an important role.The indistinct border of some SSLs poses another challenge due to difficult complete resection.Overall,it is imperative that gastroenterologists use the key features of mucus cap,indistinct borders,and size of at least five millimeters along with a high-quality colonoscopy and a good bowel preparation to improve the SSL detection rate. | Alexa Trovato Alla Turshudzhyan Micheal Tadros | 2021 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2021，27，34： | 3 |

| 7 | Experimental evaluation of Candonocypris novaezelandiae(Crustacea:Ostracoda) in the biocontrol of Schistosomiasis mansoni transmission显示文摘Objective:To test Candonocypris novaezelandiae(Baird)(C.novaezelandiae),sub-class Ostracoda,obtained from the Nile,Egypt for its predatory activity on snail,Biomphalaria alexandrina(B.alexandrina),intermediate host of Schistosoma mansoni(S.mansoni)and on the free-living larval stages of this parasite(miracidia and cercariae).Methods:The predatory activity of C.novaezelandiae was determined on B.alexandrina snail(several densities of eggs,newly hatched and juveniles).This activity was also determined on S.mansoni miracidia and cercariae using different volumes of water and different numbers of larvae.C.novaezelandiae was also tested for its effect on infection of snails and on the cercarial production.Results:C.novaezelandiae was found to feed on the eggs,newly hatched and juvenile snails,but with significant reduction in the consumption in the presence of other diet like the blue green algae(Nostoc muscorum).This ostracod also showed considerable predatory activity on the free-living larval stages of S.mansoni which was affected by certain environmental factors such as volume of water,density of C.novaezelandiae and number of larvae of the parasite.Conclusions:The presence of this ostracod in the aquatic habitat led to significant reduction of snail population,infection rate of snails with schistosme miracidia as well as of cercarial production from the infected snails.This may suggest that introducing C.novaezelandiae into the habitat at schistosome riskv sites could suppress the transmission of the disease. | Fouad Yousif Sherif Hafez Samia El Bardicy Menerva Tadros Hoda Abu Taleb | 2013 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2013，3，4： | 2 |
