1Preparation of colloidal gold immunochromatography strip for detection of methamidophos residue显示文摘Methamidophos (Met) is a broad spectrum organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide.Even a trace of its residue is harmful to humans and many animals.In this study,the synthesis and identification of colloidal gold particles and antibody-colloidal gold conjugates were performed,and the preparation of colloidal gold immunochromatography strip was conducted for detection of Met residue.The size of colloidal gold particles was checked using a transmission electron microscope (TEM).The formation of antibody-colloidal gold conjugates was monitored by UV/Vis spectroscopy.The preparation of colloidal gold immunochromatography strips,analysis of Met standard solutions,and other four pesticides and vegetable samples were operated with common methods and principals.The TEM images showed the average diameter of colloidal gold particles was almost the same size: approximately 40.0 nm in diameter.For the conjugation of colloidal gold and monoclonal antibody (MAb),0.03 mg/ml of MAb was confirmed to be the minimum amount for stabilization of colloidal gold.With the prepared colloidal gold immunochromatography test strip to determine the standard Met solution,the results demonstrated a detection limit of approximately 1.0 μg/ml.Cross-reaction indicated that the strip had a high specificity to Met.The results of 10 green vegetable sample tests confirmed that one sample was positive by HPLC analysis.There was evidence to suggest that colloidal gold particles and antibody-colloidal gold conjugates were synthesized successfully.The prepared colloidal gold immunochromatography strip was applicable for preliminary screening of Met residue.Shi Chenggang Zhao Suqing Zhang Kun Hong Guobao Zhu Zhenyu 2008Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,11:15
2Systematic review of nutrition screening and assessment in inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘BACKGROUND Malnutrition is prevalent in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Multiple nutrition screening (NST) and assessment tools (NAT) have been developed for general populations, but the evidence in patients with IBD remains unclear. AIM To systematically review the prevalence of abnormalities on NSTs and NATs, whether NSTs are associated with NATs, and whether they predict clinical outcomes in patients with IBD. METHODS Comprehensive searches performed in Medline, CINAHL Plus and PubMed. Included: English language studies correlating NSTs with NATs or NSTs/NATs with clinical outcomes in IBD. Excluded: Review articles/case studies;use of body mass index/laboratory values as sole NST/NAT;age<16. RESULTS Of 16 studies and 1618 patients were included, 72% Crohn’s disease and 28% ulcerative colitis. Four NSTs (the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool, Malnutrition Inflammation Risk Tool (MIRT), Saskatchewan Inflammatory Bowel Disease Nutrition Risk Tool (SaskIBD-NRT) and Nutrition Risk Screening 2002 (NRS-2002) were significantly associated with nutritional assessment measures of sarcopenia and the Subjective Global Assessment (SGA). Three NSTs (MIRT, NRS-2002 and Nutritional Risk Index) were associated with clinical outcomes including hospitalizations, need for surgery, disease flares, and length of stay (LOS). Sarcopenia was the most commonly evaluated NAT associated with outcomes including the need for surgery and post-operative complications. The SGA was not associated with clinical outcomes aside from LOS. CONCLUSION There is limited evidence correlating NSTs, NATs and clinical outcomes in IBD. Although studies support the association of NSTs/NATs with relevant outcomes, the heterogeneity calls for further studies before an optimal tool can be recommended. 3Longitudinal study of a community hospital integrated model for diabetes management in the Beijing Jingsong community显示文摘Objective:To determine the effects of a community hospital integrated model on the longitu-dinal management of diabetic patients.Methods:Four hundred forty-one patients with type 2 diabetes residing in Jingsong Commu-nity were randomly assigned to intensive and standard groups.Metabolic parameters were meas-ured in the two groups at baseline and after 36 months of management to compare the rate of goal achievement.Results:After comprehensive management,the overall control rate in the intensive group was increased from 2.7%to 9.6%compared with 2.3%-4.5%in the standard group.Specifically,the control rates for fasting plasma glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,and blood pressure in the intensive group were significantly increased from 54.1%,40.0%,and 68.2%to 85.5%,74.6%,and 89.1%,respectively.The control rate for glycosylated hemoglobin in the intensive group was significantly higher than the standard group after 36 months of treatment.Conclusion:The community hospital integrated model for longitudinal management effec-tively improved the control rate of glycosylated hemoglobin and the overall control rate in patients with type 2 diabetes.Jiandong Zhang Ning Zhuang Mingxia Yuan Lijuan Gao Chuan Bian Huaining Chen Qing Chi Suqing Hui Guiying Li Yanli Su Hongsong Bao Gang Wan Guangran Yang Shenyuan Yuan 2014Family Medicine and Community Health2014,2,1:7
4Debris flow prevention pattern in national parks Taking the world natural heritage Jiuzhaigou as an example显示文摘With the development of the ecological tourism, how to control debris flow in national parks becomes an urgent problem. The characteristics of prevention of the debris flow in the areas are systematically studied, and a scientific strategy is introduced for dealing with debris flows. In term of the activity attribute of the debris flow and objects protected in Jiuzhaigou, some methods are proposed to arrange the projects of hazard mitigation, and finally an approach is established to carry out the technology in the control of the debris flow scientifically, reasonably and feasibly. Integrating the aforesaid strategy with methods, the pattern of prevention and countermeasures of the debris flow has been theorized, in this way the mitigation hazards engineering is in harmony with the natural view and combined with the ecology. 5Review of CHINARE chemical oceanographic research in the Southern Ocean during 1984–2016显示文摘Between 1984 and 2016, China executed 33 Antarctic cruises with the icebreaker R/V Xuelong, which have provided opportunities for Chinese scientists to investigate the status and changes of the Southern Ocean. Research in chemical oceanography constitutes one of the primary missions of the Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition(CHINARE). This paper reviews nearly 30 years of Chinese Antarctic expeditions, focusing on the major progress achieved in chemical oceanographic research. Specifically, the sea-surface distributions and air–sea fluxes of CO_2 and N_2O are considered, and the transport, flux, and budget of organic matter are investigated based on isotopes in the Southern Ocean, especially in Prydz Bay. In addition, the nutrient distribution and deep-water particle export in Prydz Bay and the study of aerosol heavy metal characteristics are considered. 6Pre-treatment of pyridine wastewater by new cathodic–anodic-electrolysis packing显示文摘A novel cathodic–anodic-electrolysis packing(CAEP) used in the treatment of pyridine wastewater was researched, which mainly consisted of 4,4′-diamino-2,2′-disulfonic acid(DSD acid) industrial iron sludge. The physical properties and morphology of the packing were studied. The CAEP was used in a column reactor during the pretreatment of pyridine wastewater. The influence of p H, hydraulic retention time(HRT), the air–liquid ratio(A/L)and the initial concentration of pyridine were investigated by measuring the removal of total organic carbon(TOC) and pyridine. The characterization results showed that the bulk density, grain density, water absorption percentage and specific surface area were 921 kg/m3,1086 kg/m3, 25% and 29.89 m^2/g, respectively; the removal of TOC and pyridine could reach50% and 58% at the optimal experimental conditions(p H = 3, HRT = 8 hr, A/L = 2). 7High safety separators for rechargeable lithium batteries显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)are presently dominant mobile power sources due to their high energy density,long lifespan,and low self-discharging rates.The safety of LIBs has been concerned all the time and become the main problem restricting the development of high energy density LIBs.As a significant part of LIBs,the properties of separators have a significant effect on the capacity and performances of batteries and play an important role in the safety of LIBs.In recent years,researchers devoted themselves to the development of various multi-functional safe separators from different views of methods,materials,and practical requirements.In this review,we mainly focus on the recent progress in the development of high-safety separators with high thermal stability,good lithium dendritic resistance,high mechanical strength and novel multifunction for high-safety LIBs and have in-depth discussions regarding the separator's significant contribution to enhance the safety and performances of the batteries.Furthermore,the future directions and challenges of separators for the next-generation high-safety and high energy density rechargeable lithium batteries are also provided.Miaomiao Su Guang Huang Suqing Wang Yanjie Wang Haihui Wang 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,7:6
8Establishment and evaluation of a peanut association panel and analysis of key nutritional traits显示文摘Breeding programs aim to improve the yield and quality of peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.); using association mapping to identify genetic markers linked to these quantitative traits could facilitate selection efficiency. A peanut association panel was established consisting of 268 lines with extensive phenotypic and genetic variation, meeting the requirements for association analysis. These lines were grown over 3 years and the key agronomic traits, including protein and oil content were examined. Population structure(Q) analysis showed two subpopulations and clustering analysis was consistent with Q-based membership assignment and closely related to botanical type. Relative Kinship(K) indicated that most of the panel members have no or weak familial relatedness, with 52.78% of lines showing K ? 0. Linkagedisequilibrium(LD) analysis showed a high level of LD occurs in the panel. Model comparisons indicated false positives can be effectively controlled by taking Q and K into consideration and more false positives were generated by K than Q. A preliminary association analysis using a Q t K model found markers significantly associated with oil, protein, oleic acid, and linoleic acid, and identified a set of alleles with positive and negative effects. 9Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 10A proposed direct measurement of cross section at Gamow window for key reaction 19F(p,α) 16O in Asymptotic Giant Branch stars with a planned accelerator in CJPL显示文摘In 2014, the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) approved the Jinping Underground Nuclear Astrophysics laboratory(JUNA) project, which aims at direct cross-section measurements of four key stellar nuclear reactions right down to the Gamow windows. In order to solve the observed fluorine overabundances in Asymptotic Giant Branch(AGB) stars, measuring the key ^(19)F( p,α)^(16)O reaction at effective burning energies(i.e., at Gamow window) is established as one of the scientific research sub-projects. 11Effects of Reheating Duration on the Microstructures and Tensile Properties of Thixoforged In Situ Mg_2Si_p/AM60B Composites显示文摘The influences of reheating duration on microstructures and tensile properties of thixoforged in situ Mg2Sip/AM60 B composites have been investigated. The results indicate that the reheating time affects the volume fraction,composition and distribution of the liquid phase, the evolution of the liquid pools within the primary particles, and the morphology and distribution of the Mg2 Si particles of the semisolid feedstock. These changes then affect the subsequent solidification behavior and deformation mechanism during thixoforging, which are responsible for the resulting microstructure and tensile properties. Mg2 Si particles play a strengthening role for the matrix through the load transfer mechanism. The appropriate reheating time is 60 min at 600 °C when the mold preheating temperature is at 300 °C. 12Nuclear uncertainties in the s-process simulation显示文摘The heavy elements in the Universe are formed during the s- and r-processes mainly in AGB stars and supernovae, respectively. Simulation of s- and r-nucleosynthesis critically depends on the neutron capture and weak decay rates for all the nuclei on the reaction chain. The present work analyzes systematically the neutron capture rates (cross sections) for the s-process nuclei, including ~3000 rates on ~200 nuclei. The network calculations for the constant temperature s-process have been performed using the different data sets selected as the nuclear inputs to investigate the uncertainties in the predicted s-abundances. We show that the available cross sections of neutron capture on many s-process nuclei still carry large uncertainties, which lead to low accuracy in the determination of s-process isotope abundances. We analyze the neutron capture cross section data for the same unique isobar nucleus accorded by year from previous work. Such an analysis indicates that the s-process has been studied for more than fifty years and there exist two research stages around 1976 and 2002, respectively. 13The pathogenic role of innate lymphoid cells in autoimmune-related and inflammatory skin diseases显示文摘Innate lymphoid cells(ILCs),as an important component of the innate immune system,arise from a common lymphoid progenitor and are located in mucosal barriers and various tissues,including the intestine,skin,lung,and adipose tissue.ILCs are heterogeneous subsets of lymphocytes that have emerging roles in orchestrating immune response and contribute to maintain metabolic homeostasis and regulate tissue inflammation.Currently,more details about the pathways for the development and differentiation of ILCs have largely been elucidated,and cytokine secretion and downstream immune cell responses in disease pathogenesis have been reported.Recent research has identified that several distinct subsets of ILCs at skin barriers are involved in the complex regulatory network in local immunity,potentiating adaptive immunity and the inflammatory response.Of note,additional studies that assess the effects of ILCs are required to better define how ILCs regulate their development and functions and how they interact with other immune cells in autoimmune-related and inflammatory skin disorders.In this review,we will distill recent research progress in ILC biology,abnormal functions and potential pathogenic mechanisms in autoimmune-related skin diseases,including systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),scleroderma and inflammatory diseases,as well as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis(AD),thereby giving a comprehensive review of the diversity and plasticity of ILCs and their unique functions in disease conditions with the aim to provide new insights into molecular diagnosis and suggest potential value in immunotherapy.Suqing Zhou Qianwen Li Haijing Wu Qianjin Lu 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,4:2
14Multiple processes affecting surface seawater N_2O satura-tion anomalies in tropical oceans and Prydz Bay, Antarc-tica显示文摘We analyzed the N2O content of surface seawater sampled from Prydz Bay, Antarctica, on a cruise track between 30°S and 30°N during the twenty-second Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition during austral summer, 2006. The surface water showed an average pN 2 O value of 311.9±7.6 nL·L -1 (14.1±0.4 nmol·L -1 ), which was slightly undersaturated. The air-sea N 2 O flux in the region was -0.3±0.8 μmol·m -2 ·d -1 ; however, N 2 O in the surface water was oversaturated in most stations along the cruise track. Saturation anomalies were greater than 10%, with a maximum of 54.7% being observed at the Equator, followed by 31% at 10°N in the Sulu Sea. The air-sea fluxes at these locations were 12.4 and 4 μmol·m -2 ·d -1 , respectively. Overall, the results indicated that surface water in Prydz Bay was near equilibrium with atmospheric N 2 O, and that ocean waters in lower latitudes acted as a N 2 O source. 15Ultrasound guided neural stem cell transplantation through the lateral ventricle for treatment of cerebral palsy in children显示文摘A total of 24 children with cerebral palsy were enrolled in this study and underwent ultrasound guided transplantation of neural stem cells through the lateral ventricle. Neural stem cells (3.8 × 106-7.3 × 107) were injected into the lateral ventricles. Mild injury of lateral ventricular blood vessels occurred in only two cases (8.3%). Seven cases (29.2%) experienced a fever. Clinical manifestations were improved to varying degrees in eight cases (28.0%) within 3 months after transplantation. 16A Novel Aminoalkylsilane Compound with Oligo(ethylene oxide) Units as Effective Additive for Improving Cyclability of Lithium-ion Batteries显示文摘A new aminoalkylsilane compound,((2-(2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethoxy)ethoxy) methyl)trimethylsilane(TMSC1N2) based on the oligo(ethylene oxide) chain end-capped with organosilicon functional group and alkylamine group on each end,was introduced as an electrolyte additive for lithium-ion batteries.Electrochemical performances of different volume ratios of TMSC1N2 in the baseline electrolyte were conducted through cyclic voltammetry,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and galvanostatic charge/discharge tests of lithium-ion batteries.With adding 5 vol.% TMSC1N2 to the baseline electrolyte(1 mol/L LiPF6in ethylene carbonate and diethyl carbonate(EC:DEC 1:1,in volume)),the capacity retention of LiFePO4/Li cells could be significantly improved from 74.7% to 90.8% after 130 cycles.Furthermore,TMSC1N2 showed good compatibility with graphite electrode and would not deteriorate the electrochemical performance of graphite/Li anode cells.These data suggested that TMSC1N2 could be utilized as an effective additive for lithium-ion batteries.Suqing Wang Jinglun Wang Hao Luo Xinyue Zhao Lingzhi Zhang 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,10:2
