1Direct transformation of FGD gypsum to calcium sulfate hemihydrate whiskers:Preparation,simulations,and process analysis显示文摘Calcium sulfate hemihydrate(CSH) whiskers were synthesized by phase transition in CaCl_2 solution under atmospheric pressure.Analytical-grade calcium sulfate dihydrate(AR CSD) was used as the raw material for the synthesis of CSH whiskers,according to orthogonal experiments.The effects of reaction temperature,AR CSD content,H_2SO_4 content,and reaction time were investigated,and the crystallization conditions were optimized.The as-prepared CSH whiskers displayed a regular morphology and a highly uniform size,with an aspect ratio of 105.A simulation system was also established by blending various sulfates with AR CSD,to evaluate the effects of impurities in flue gas desulfurization(FGD) gypsum.The main aim was to prepare CSH whiskers directly from FGD gypsum,without any purification,using the optimized conditions.This is a facile potential alternative process for large-scale production of CSH whiskers using abundant FGD gypsum as source materials.Miao Miao Xin Feng Gangling Wang Shaomei Cao Wen Shi Liyi Shi 2015Particuology2015,13,2:31
2Attitudes towards pain management in hospitalized cancer patients and their influencing factors显示文摘Objective: To investigate patients' attitudes towards cancer pain management and analyze the factors influencing these attitudes.Methods: The self-developed Demographic and Disease-Related Information Questionnaires, Pain Management Barriers Questionnaire-Taiwan form(BQT), and Pain Knowledge Questionnaire were administered to 363 pairs of hospitalized cancer patients and their caregivers from the oncology departments of 7 hospitals in Beijing, China.Results: The average patient score for attitudes towards pain management was 2.96±0.49. The dimension scores indicated good attitudes in three areas(scores <2.5), 'Desire to be good'(2.22±1.04), 'Fatalism'(2.08±0.81) and'Religious fatalism'(1.86±1.00), and poor attitudes in six areas(scores ≥2.5), 'Tolerance'(3.83±0.96), 'Use of analgesics as needed(p.r.n.)'(3.73±1.01), 'Addiction'(3.44±1.05), 'Disease progression'(3.28±1.26), 'Distraction of physicians'(3.16±1.07) and 'Side effects'(2.99±0.68). Two factors were entered into the regression equation:the caregivers' attitudes towards cancer pain management and the patients' pain knowledge. These two factors explained 23.2% of the total variance in the patients' average scores for their attitudes towards cancer pain management.Conclusions: The patients' attitudes towards cancer pain management were poor and could be influenced by the caregivers' attitudes and the patients' pain knowledge, and thus need to be improved.Fangli Lou Shaomei Shang 2017Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,1:9
3A Multisource Contour Matching Method Considering the Similarity of Geometric Features显示文摘The existing multi-source contour matching studies have focused on the matching methods with consideration of topological relations and similarity measurement based on spatial Euclidean distance,while it is lack of taking the contour geometric features into account,which may lead to mismatching in map boundaries and areas with intensive contours or extreme terrain changes.In light of this,it is put forward that a matching strategy from coarse to precious based on the contour geometric features.The proposed matching strategy can be described as follows.Firstly,the point sequence is converted to feature sequence according to a feature descriptive function based on curvature and angle of normal vector.Then the level of similarity among multi-source contours is calculated by using the longest common subsequence solution.Accordingly,the identical contours could be matched based on the above calculated results.In the experiment for the proposed method,the reliability and efficiency of the matching method are verified using simulative datasets and real datasets respectively.It has been proved that the proposed contour matching strategy has a high matching precision and good applicability.Wenyue GUO Anzhu YU Qun SUN Shaomei LI Qing XU Bowei WEN Yuanfu LI 2020Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2020,3,3:5

6Doxorubicin-loaded zein in situ gel for interstitial chemotherapy of colorectal cancer显示文摘The aim of this research was to evaluate doxorubicin(DOX)-loaded zein in situ gels,a new drug delivery system in which a liquid state drug can be transformed into semi-solid after intratumoral injection.In vitro release of DOX-loaded zein was investigated and the pharmacokinetics,biodistribution and therapeutic efficacy of these DOX-loaded zein formulations were investigated using BAI B/c nude tumor-bearing mice.In vitro release of DOX from the gels extended up to 7 days.Efficient accumulation of DOX in the tumor with lower drug concentration in blood and normal organs was obtained resulting in effective inhibition of tumor growth and fewer off-target side effects.In conclusion,a DOX-loaded in situ gel was developed with sustained release,enhanced anti-cancer efficacy for colorectal cancer in vivo,and especially with reduced off-target side effects.Ning Shen Jie Hu Linan Zhang Li Zhang Yongjun Sun Yinghua Xie Shaomei Wu Lei Liu Zibin Gao 2012Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2012,2,6:3
7In-situ growth of polypyrrole on aramid nanofibers for electromagnetic interference shielding films with high stability显示文摘Flexible electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding films with high stability have shown promising prospect in harsh working conditions such as military,communication,and special protection fields.Herein,flexible aramid nanofibers@polypyrrole(ANF@PPy)films with high stability were easily achieved by the in-situ growth of PPy on the surface of ANF and the subsequent pressured-filtration film-forming process.When the amount of pyrrole(Py)monomer is 40μL,the ANF@PPy(AP40)film exhibited excellent EMI shielding performance with shielding effectiveness(SE)of 41.69 dB,tensile strength of 96.01 MPa,and fracture strain of 21.95%at the thickness of 75.76μm.Particularly,the anticipated EMI shielding performance can be maintained even after being heated at 200℃in air,soaked in 3.5%NaCl solution,repeated folding for one million times,or burned directly,indicating superior environmental durability in harsh conditions.Therefore,it is believed that the ANF@PPy films with high stability offer a facile solution for practical protection for high-performance EMI shielding applications.Jianyu Zhou Sineenat Thaiboonrod Jianhui Fang Shaomei Cao Miao Miao Xin Feng 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:2
8C60intercalating Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXenes assisted by γ-cyclodextrin for electromagnetic interference shielding films with high stability显示文摘Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXenes with excellent metallic conductivity and flexibility have shown a promising prospect as electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding materials. Ultrathin, hierarchical hybrid films were fabricated by using C60intercalating Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXenes with the assistance of water-soluble γ-cyclodextrin(CD). The C_(60)/CD complex was obtained by high-speed vibration milling using hydrophilic CD as dispersing agent. After thermal annealing treatment, the obtained hybrid film exhibited excellent EMI shielding(53.52±0.43 dB), hydrophobicity(water contact angle: 93.7°) and mechanical stability(over 0.9 million bending times). Taking advantage of the antioxidant of C_(60), the chemical durability of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXenes based hybrid films was also improved as expected. 11In-situ growth of porous Cu_(3)(BTC)_(2) on cellulose nanofibrils for ultra-low dielectric films with high flexibility显示文摘The design of flexible polymeric films with internal porous structures has received increasing attention in low dielectric applications.The highly porous metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)of[Cu_(3)(BTC)_(2)]_(n)(BTC=benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylate)were introduced into aramid nanofibers(ANF)matrix by using carboxylated cellulose nanofibrils(CNF)as carriers to obtain strong,flexible,and ultra-low dielectric films.The well-dispersed“flowers-branch”like CNF@CuBTC through in-situ growth of CuBTC on CNF surface endowed the ANF/CNF@Cu BTC films with excellent thermal stability,mechanical integrity and low dielectric properties.Besides,the flexible dielectric films exhibited superior ultraviolet(UV)resistance,lower coefficient of thermal expansion(4.28×10^(-5)℃^(-1))and increased water contact angle(83.81°).More interestingly,the removal of guest molecules from the ANF/CNF@CuBTC films according to the vacuum heat treatment(VHT)process significantly improved their dielectric response.The specific surface areas of the composite films after VHT increased obviously,and the dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent decreased to the expected 1.8-2.2 and 0.001-0.03 at 100 MHz,respectively.Consequently,such designable ultra-low dielectric films with high flexibility play an incredible significance in applications of microelectronics under large deformation conditions,especially in flexible/wearable devices at the arrival of 5 G era.Rui Liu Xiang He Miao Miao Shaomei Cao Xin Feng 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,17:1

18Study of Zero-Inflated Regression Models in a Large-Scale Population Survey of Sub-Health Status and Its Influencing Factors显示文摘Objective Sub-health status has progressively gained more attention from both medical professionals and the publics. Treating the number of sub-health symptoms as count data rather than dichotomous data helps to completely and accurately analyze findings in sub-healthy population. This study aims to compare the goodness of fit for count outcome models to identify the optimum model for sub-health study.Methods The sample of the study derived from a large-scale population survey on physiological and psychological constants from 2007 to 2011 in 4 provinces and 2 autonomous regions in China. We constructed four count outcome models using SAS: Poisson model, negative binomial (NB) model, zero-inflated Poisson (ZIP) model and zero-inflated negative binomial (ZINB) model. The number of sub-health symptoms was used as the main outcome measure. The alpha dispersion parameter and O test were used to identify over-dispersed data, and Vuong test was used to evaluate the excessive zero count. The goodness of fit of regression models were determined by predictive probability curves and statistics of likelihood ratio test.Results Of all 78 307 respondents, 38.53% reported no sub-health symptoms. The mean number of sub-health symptoms was 2.98, and the standard deviation was 3.72. The statistic O in over-dispersion test was 720.995 (P<0.001); the estimated alpha was 0.618 (95% CI: 0.600-0.636) comparing ZINB model and ZIP model; Vuong test statistic Z was 45.487. These results indicated over-dispersion of the data and excessive zero counts in this sub-health study. ZINB model had the largest log likelihood (-167 519), the smallest Akaike’s Information Criterion coefficient (335 112) and the smallest Bayesian information criterion coefficient (335455),indicating its best goodness of fit. The predictive probabilities for most counts in ZINB model fitted the observed counts best. The logit section of ZINB model analysis showed that age, sex, occupation, smoking, alcohol drinking, ethnicity and obesity were determinants for presence of sub-health symptoms; the binomial negative section of ZINB model analysis showed that sex, occupation, smoking, alcohol drinking, ethnicity, marital status and obesity had significant effect on the severity of sub-health.Conclusions All tests for goodness of fit and the predictive probability curve produced the same finding that ZINB model was the optimum model for exploring the influencing factors of sub-health symptoms.Tao Xu Guangjin Zhu Shaomei Han 2017Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2017,32,4:1
19Human Coronavirus Infections and Pregnancy显示文摘Human coronavirus (HCoV) causes potentially fatal respiratory disease. Pregnancy is a physiological state that predisposes women to viral infection. In this review, we aim to present advances in the pathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis, and treatment in HCoV in pregnancy. We retrieved information from the Pubmed database up to June 2020, using various search terms and relevant words, including coronaviruses, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus, Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus, 2019 coronavirus disease, and pregnancy. Both basic and clinical studies were selected. We found no evidence that pregnant women are more susceptible to HCoV infection or that those with HCoV infection are more prone to developing severe pneumonia. There is also no confirmed evidence of vertical mother-to-child transmission of HcoV infection during maternal HCoV infection. Those diagnosed with infection should be promptly admitted to a negative-pressure isolation ward, preferably in a designated hospital with adequate facilities and multi-disciplinary expertise to manage critically ill obstetric patients. Antiviral treatment has been routinely used to treat pregnant women with HCoV infection. The timing and mode of delivery should be individualized, depending mainly on the clinical status of the patient, gestational age, and fetal condition. Early cord clamping and temporary separation of the newborn for at least 2 weeks is recommended. All medical staff caring for patients with HCoV infection should use personal protective equipment.
