6Escherichia coli tetracycline efflux determinants in relation to tetracycline residues in chicken显示文摘Objective:To screen for Escherichia coli(E.coli)resistant to tetracycline,followed by identification of tet efflux genes by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).In addition,detection of tetracycline residues in chicken livers and kidneys were conducted using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS-MS).Methods:Strains of E.coli were isolated from samples of chicken colon and screened for tetracycline resistance.Tetracycline genes conferring resistance(Tc^r)were detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).Most of the isolates were resistant to tetracycline(97.9%).Results:PCR analysis indicated that Tc^r E.coli R-plasmids contained tet(A),tet(B)and a combination of both efflux genes.None of the isolates contained other efflux tet genes tet(C,D,E and Y).High performance liquid chromatography-tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS-MS),a sensitive technique,was used to detect residues of chlortetracycline(CTC),oxytetracyeline(OTC),doxveycline(DC)in chicken livers and kidneys.The samples containing tetracycline residues were at 0.13-0.65pg/μL levels.Conclusions:Tetracycline and other antibiotics are commonly used in the poultry and meat production industry for prevention of microbial infections.Multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria in Oman have increased to alarming levels,threatening public health,domestic and may have adverse effect on environment.Al-Bahry SN Al-Mashani BM Al-Ansari AS Elshafie AE Mahmoud IY 2013Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2013,6,9:4

11Dynamic role of myofibroblasts in oral lesions显示文摘Fibroblasts are the most abundant cellular components of connective tissue. They possess phenotypical heterogenicity and may be present in the form of smooth muscle cells or myofibroblasts(MFs). MFs are spindle-shaped cells with stress fibres and welldeveloped fibronexus,and they display α-smooth muscle actin immunohistochemically and smoothmuscle myofilaments ultrastructurally. MFs play a crucial role in physiological and pathological processes. Derived from various sources,they play pivotal roles not only by synthesizing and producing extracellular matrix components,such as other connective tissue cells,but also are involved in force production. In the tissue remodelling phase of wound closure,integrinmediated interactions between MFs and type I collagen result in scar tissue formation. The tumour stroma in oral cancer actively recruits various cell types into the tumour mass,where they act as different sources of MFs. This article reviews the importance of MFs and its role in pathological processes such as wound healing,odontogenic cysts and tumours,salivary gland tumours,oral preneoplasia,and oral squamous cell carcinoma. 18表面处理对瓷牙材料机械强度影响的实验研究显示文摘目的 比较不同表面处理因素对瓷牙材料机械强度的影响。方法 制备 30 0个表面均匀一致的实验标本 ,对抛光面进行表面处理 ,处理后的标本用万能实验机进行机械循环 ,然后用Piston on threeball方法检查实验标本的挠屈强度。结果 双向卡方检验说明不同表面处理因素及不同循环次数对实验标本挠屈强度的影响都具有显著意义 (P <0 .0 0 0 1) ;Q 检验说明自然上釉、酸蚀、喷砂等表面处理和表面抛光相比 ,可以降低实验标本的挠屈强度 (P <0 .0 5 ) ,而离子交换可以增加瓷牙材料的挠屈强度 (P <0 .0 5 )。 结论 瓷牙材料表面经离子交换后可以增加其强度 ,自然上釉、酸蚀、喷砂等表面处理过程可以降低瓷牙材料的机械强度。李振春 White SN 2000口腔材料器械杂志2000,9,2:2
