3Cross wavelet analysis of the relationship between total solar irradiance and sunspot number显示文摘Using the observational data of total solar irradiance(TSI)from 1976 to 2006,the evolution of total solar irradiance and the rela-tionship between TSI and sunspot number(SSN)have been analyzed with the wavelet technique.The results of the continuous wavelet transform(CWT)indicate that the TSI has multi-scale evolutionary characteristics.In the low frequency band,the TSI and SSN show similar variation with a significant and steady oscillation period from 8 to 11.4 a.While in the high frequency band,only around the maximum time of solar cycles,both the TSI and SSN present a significant intermittent oscillation period from 2 to 6 months.The results of the cross wavelet transform indicate that there is significant in-phase resonance oscillation between the TSI and SSN in 8-11.4 a band,where the variation of the SSN is 2 months ahead of that of TSI.Those results confirm the SSN as the primary cause for TSI's periodic variation in the time scale of 8-11.4 a.However for the 2-6 month band,significant resonance periodicity is observed only within the maximum time of solar cycle,but the phase relationship between the TSI and SSN is unsteady.Finally,a reliable TSI monthly series from 1878 to 1975 is reconstructed and tested.YANG RuoWen CAO Jie HUANG Wei NIAN AiBing 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,20:3
4Synthesis of novel hierarchical porous polymers with a nanowire-interconnected network structure from core-shell polymer nanoobjects显示文摘Design and fabrication of the micro/nanostructures of the network units is a critical issue for porous nanonetwork structured materials. Significant progress has been attained in construction of the network units with zero-dimensional spherical shapes.However, owing to the limitations of synthetic methods, construction of porous building blocks in one dimension featuring high aspect ratios for porous nanonetwork structured polymer(PNSP) remains largely unexplored. Here we present the successful design and preparation of PNSP with a novel type of one-dimensional network unit, i.e., microporous heterogeneous nanowire. Well-defined core-shell polymer nanoobjects prepared from a gelable block copolymer, poly(3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate)-block-polystyrene are employed as building blocks, and facilely transformed into PNSP via hypercrosslinking of polystyrene shell. The as-prepared PNSP exhibits unique three-dimensional hierarchical nanonetwork morphologies with large surface area. 6Experimental investigation on the spread of aqueous foam over ethanol surface显示文摘The presence of ethanol has an adverse effect on foam spreading,and ethanol fire is difficult to extinguish with aqueous fire-fighting foams.Thus,it is necessary to explore the foam formulation suitable for ethanol fuels and study the spreading behavior of foam over ethanol surface.In the current work,stable foams based on hydrocarbon surfactant(SDS),fluorocarbon surfactant(FC1157),and polymers(XG)were prepared by using the compressed-air foam system.The spreading behaviors of foam on polar ethanol and non-polar heptane surface were observed and compared.Furthermore,the effects of stabilizer concentrations,foam flow rates and expansion ratios on foam spreading performance were investigated,respectively.The results indicate that aqueous SDS foam can spread on the heptane layer continuously,but it is difficult to cover the ethanol surface.The addition of XG and FC1157 can synergistically improve the spreading performance of aqueous foam over ethanol.Depending on stabilizer concentrations,there are remarkable differences in foam spreading behaviors.Besides,different foam application parameters including expansion ratios and foam flow rates significantly affect the foam spreading rate,despite the same foam formulation.The research methods and results guide the optimal design of foam formulations as well as the practical application of aqueous foam for ethanol fire extinguishment.Xiaoyang Yu Fan Li Xuyang Miao Ning Jiang Ruowen Zong Shouxiang Lu Changhai Li State 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,11:2

9High-performance organic electrolyte supercapacitors based on intrinsically powdery carbon aerogels显示文摘A novel class of powdery carbon aerogels(PCAs) has been developed by the union of microemulsion polymerization and hypercrosslinking, followed by carbonization. The resulting aerogels are in a microscale powdery form, demonstrate a well-defined 3D interconnected nanonetwork with hierarchical pores derived from numerous interstitial nanopores and intraparticle micropores, and exhibit high surface area(up to 1969 m^2/g).
