1睡眠呼吸暂停人群高血压患病率的多中心研究显示文摘目的调查我国睡眠呼吸暂停人群高血压患病情况和影响因素。方法纳入2004至2006年全国20家三甲医院呼吸内科门诊就诊的2297例患者,男:女为1310:211,均经过询问病史、体格检查和多导睡眠监测。统一使用中华医学会呼吸病学分会睡眠呼吸疾病学组编制的《睡眠呼吸暂停与高血压发病情况问卷调查表》对受试者进行问卷和规范的血压测量。应用 SPSS 11.0软件包进行数据分析,采用 X^2检验比较高血压患病率。结果呼吸暂停低通气指数(AHI)<5次/h 组(213例)的高血压患病率(23.5%)明显低于 AHI≥5次/h 组(2084例)的高血压患病率(49.3%);阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停低通气综合征(OSAHS)人群的高血压患病率为56.2%(569/1012);有高血压家族史人群的高血压患病率为63.7%(450/706),明显高于无家族史者39.4%(627/1591)的患病率;AHI≥5次/h 组的高血压患病几率是 AHI<5次/h 组的3倍(OR=3.167,95%CI 为2.953~5.426,P<0.01);受试人群的高血压患病率随 AHI 增加而增加,自 AHI 16~20次/h 起患病率增高幅度明显加大,AHI 66~70次/h 以后呈下降趋势。经计算得出公式:高血压患病率=0.3199+0.0042×AHI;高血压患病的 OR 值=1.018+0.017×AHI,同时,受试者的高血压患病率随睡眠最低血氧饱和度的减低而明显增高,随嗜睡指数增高而明显增高。受试人群的 AHI 为独立于年龄、性别、体重指数和高血压家族史之外的高血压危险因素。结论睡眠呼吸暂停人群的高血压患病率明显高于无睡眠呼吸暂停人群,睡眠呼吸暂停与高血压患病率有密切的相关关系,是独立于年龄、体重指数和高血压家族史的高血压患病危险因素。Sleep Breathing Disorder Group of Respiratory Diseases Branch,Chinese Medical Association 2007中华结核和呼吸杂志2007,30,12:123
2中国人呼出气一氧化氮(FeNO)正常值全国多中心研究显示文摘目的调查中国人呼出气一氧化氮浓度(FeNO)正常值范围。方法采用多中心对照研究,在20个医学中心同时期随机抽取符合健康标准的儿童993名(男457人,女536人)及成人2229名(男1002人,女1227人),按美国胸科学会推荐方法有效测定FeNO值,并探讨其与年龄、身高、体重、体重指数和区域等相关因素的关系。结果中国健康儿童及成人的FeNO值较国外报道偏高;健康儿童FeNO均值为12 ppb,其95%置信区间(偏态分布)为5~24 ppb,与儿童年龄分层、身高相关(P<0.05),而与性别、体重、体重指数(BMI)及地区分布无关(P>0.05)。健康成人FeNO均值为16 ppb,其95%置信区间(偏态分布)为5~30 ppb,与成人的年龄、性别及地区差异相关(P<0.05),而与身高、体重和体重指数无关(P>0.05)。结论中国健康儿童及成人的FeNO值较国外报道偏高,24 ppb及30 ppb可作为中国健康儿童和成人FeNO的正常界限值,但应根据影响因素不同,考虑年龄、性别及地区等因素的影响。本研究结果为中国开展FeNO测定的临床实践及基础研究提供了依据。Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Disease* 2013中华全科医学2013,11,3:55

4STAT1 Antisense Oligonucleotides Attenuate the Proinflammatory Cytokine Release of Alveolar Macrophages in Bleomycin-Induced Fibrosis显示文摘To investigate the effect of signal transducers and activators of transcription 1 (STAT1) antisense oligonucleotides (ASON) on concentrations of TNF-α, IL-8, NO secreted by alveolar macrophages (AMs) in bleomycin-induced rat pulmonary fibrosis, five adult female Wistar rats were intratracheally instilled with bleomycin. After 7 days, the rats were killed by right ventricle of heart exsanguinations under ketamine anaesthesia and bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) was performed to obtain AMs. AMs were divided into four groups, treated with STAT1 ASON, STAT1 sense oligonucleotides (SON), dexamethasone (DEX) and medium alone (control), respectively. AMs and media were collected after culture for 36 h. The mRNA and protein expressions of STAT1 and ICAM-1 in AMs were detected by RT-PCR and ELISA, respectively. The concentrations of TNF-α, IL-8, NO in cultured medium were detected.The STAT1 mRNA expression by AMs in the STAT1 ASON group was lower than those of AMs in the STAT1 SON group, the DEX group and the control group (p < 0.05). Moreover, the STAT1 mRNA expression by AMs in the DEX group was also lower than those of AMs in the STAT1 SON group and the control group (p < 0.05), but the STAT1 mRNA expression by AMs in the STAT1 SON group was not different from that of the control group (p >0.05). The protein expressions of STAT1 and ICAM-1 and the mRNA expression of ICAM-1 showed similar changes to the STAT1 mRNA expression by AMs. The concentrations of TNF-α, IL-8, NO in cultured medium from STAT1 ASON group were lower than those from STAT1 SON, DEX and the control groups (p < 0.05). 5Tissue and host tropism of influenza viruses:Importance of quantitative analysis显示文摘It is generally accepted that human influenza viruses preferentially bind to cell-surface glycoproteins/ glycolipids containing sialic acids in α2,6-linkage; while avian and equine influenza viruses preferentially bind to those containing sialic acids in α2,3-linkage. Even though this generalized view is accurate for H3 subtype isolates, it may not be accurate and absolute for all subtypes of influenza A viruses and, therefore, needs to be reevaluated carefully and realistically. Some of the studies published in major scientific journals on the subject of tissue tropism of influenza viruses are inconsistent and caused confusion in the scientific community. One of the reasons for the inconsistency is that most studies were quantitative descriptions of sialic acid receptor distributions based on lectin or influenza virus immunohistochemistry results with limited numbers of stained cells. In addition, recent studies indicate that α2,3- and α2,6-linked sialic acids are not the sole receptors determining tissue and host tropism of influenza viruses. In fact, determinants for tissue and host tropism of human, avian and animal influenza viruses are more complex than what has been generally accepted. Other factors, such as glycan topology, concentration of invading viruses, local density of receptors, lipid raft microdomains, coreceptors or sialic acid-independent receptors, may also be important. To more efficiently control the global spread of pandemic influenza such as the current circulating influenza A H1N1, it is crucial to clarify the determinants for tissue and host tropism of influenza viruses through quantitative analysis of experimental results. 7DC dielectrophoresis separation of marine algae and particles in a microfluidic chip显示文摘This paper reports a microfluidic method of continuous separation of marine algae and particles by DC dielectrophoresis. The locally non-uniform electric field is generated by an insulating PDMS triangle hurdle fabricated within a PDMS microchannel. Both the particles and algae are subject to negative DEP forces at the hurdle where the gradient of local electric-field strength is the strongest. The DEP force acting on the particle or the algae depends on particles' or algae's volume, shape and dielectric properties. Thus the moving particles and algae will be repelled to different streamlines when passing the hurdle. In this way, combined with the electroosmotic flow, continuous separation of algae of two different sizes, and continuous separation of polystyrene particles and algae with similar volume but different shape were achieved. 8Effect of Astragalus on the Endothelin in Rats with AcuteLung Injury显示文摘The effect of astragalus on the endothelin in serum and lung of the rats with acute lung injury was studied. The results demonstrated that the concentration of endothelin in the lung of the rats in therapy group was lower than that of the injured rats (64.36±5.37 ng/L vs 103.32±4.99 ng/L, P <0.001), and level of serum endothelin was also lower than that of the injured rats (85.35 ng/L vs 113.35 ng/L, P <0.01). PaO 2, serum SOD, lung coefficient, ratio of lung wet weight/dry weight in two groups were also significantly different ( P <0.01) respectively, and the lung pathological injury in the treatment group were less than that of injury group.
