1Comparing the removal of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil after different bioremediation approaches in relation to the extracellular enzyme activities显示文摘A 120-day experiment was conducted to compare the removal of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) from agricultural soil after natural attenuation(NA), phytoremediation(P), mycoremediation(M), and plant-assisted mycoremediation(PAM) approaches in relation to the extracellular enzyme activities in soil. The NA treatment removed the total soil PAH content negligibly. The P treatment using maize(Zea mays) enhanced only the removal of low and medium molecular PAHs. The Pleurotus ostreatus cultivated on 30–50 mm wood chip substrate used in M treatment was the most successful in the removal of majority PAHs. Therefore,significantly(p < 0.05) highest total PAH removal by 541.4 μg/kg dw(dry weight)(36%) from all tested M treatments was observed. When using the same fungal substrate together with maize in PAM treatment, the total PAH removal was not statistically different from the previous M treatment. However, the maize-assisted mycoremediation treatment significantly boosted fungal biomass, microbial and manganese peroxidase activity in soil which strongly correlated with the removal of total PAHs. The higher PAH removal in that PAM treatment could be reflected in the following post-harvest time. 2Effects of Organic Matter-Rich Amendments on Selenium Mobility in Soils显示文摘Soil organic matter (SOM) plays an important role in the Se dynamics in soil. The potential effects of vermicompost and digestate as important sources of SOM on selenium (Se) mobility were assessed in this study. Three soils differing in their physicochemical parameters, fluvisol, chernozem, and luvisol, were chosen, and three types of vermicomposts based on various bio-waste materials as digestate (vermicompost 1), kitchen waste with woodchips (vermicompost 2), and garden bio-waste (vermicompost 3) were used due to their high organic matter content. Additionally, digestate samples alone were applied. To evaluate the potential effect of vermicompost application on sorption characteristics of soils, batch sorption experiments were performed. The results showed a predominant effect on Se species in the soils, where selenite sorbed more intensively compared to selenate, regardless of the soil and ameliorative material applied. In the control, the soil sorption ability of selenite tended to decrease in the order: fluvisol > luvisol > chernozem. However, these differences were not significant. Moreover, the effects of the ameliorative materials depended on both soil and amendment used. In fluvisol, all the amendment applications resulted in a decrease in distribution coefficient ( K d values) of Se, whereas in chernozem, this effect was observed only for the digestate-based vermicompost 1. Increasing K d levels were reported in luvisol treated with digestate;the application of garden bio-waste-based vermicompost 3 tended to decrease the K d values. Further studies are required on long-term effects of these amendments on Se mobility in soils and the role of individual organic matter fractions in this context.Petra SMAZíKOVá Luká? 3Zn_(x)Cd_(1-x)S量子点组成与其光催化活性的关系显示文摘Aqueous colloidal dispersions containing Znx Cd1‐x S quantum dots (QDs) of different x compositions were prepared by precipitating zinc and cadmium acetates with sodium sulphide,in the presence of a cetyltrimethylammonium bromide stabilizer.Ultraviolet‐visible absorption spectroscopy was used to determine the transition energies of the QDs,which in turn were used to calculate their sizes,which depended on their composition.The QD size decreased with increasing Zn content.The photocatalytic activity of the Znx Cd1‐x S QDs was studied by the decomposition of methylene blue under ultraviolet irradiation,at a maximum intensity at 365 nm (3.4 e V).Three different photo‐catalytic activity regions were observed,which depended on the Zn content.The quantum levels of the QDs could be excited by incident irradiation,and influenced the resulting photocatalytic activity.Maximum photocatalytic activity was achieved at x = 0.6,where the QD transition energy was equal to the irradiation photon energy.The photocatalytic efficiency of the QDs depended on their surface area and arrangement of quantum levels,because of the quantum size effect.Alice Hospodková Ladislav Svoboda Petr Praus 2015催化学报2015,36,3:2
