| 4 | Magnetotelluric investigation of lithospheric electrical structure beneath the Dharwar Craton in south India:Evidence for mantle suture and plume-continental interaction显示文摘Broad-band and long period magnetotelluric measurements made at 63 locations along -500 km long Chikmagalur-Kavali profile,that cut across the Dharwar craton (DC) and Eastern Ghat Mobile Belt (EGMB) in south India,is modelled to examine the lithosphere architecture of the cratonic domain and define tectonic boundaries.The 2-D resistivity model shows moderately conductive features that intersperse a highly resistive background of crystalline rocks and spatially connect to the exposed schist belts or granitic intrusions in the DC.These features are therefore interpreted as images of fossil pathways of the volcanic emplacements associated with the greenstone belt and granite suite formation exposed in the region.A near vertical conductive feature in the upper mantle under the Chitradurga Shear Zone represents the Archean suture between the western and eastern blocks of DC.Although thick (-200 km) cratonic (highly resistive) lithosphere is preserved,significant part of the cratonic lithosphere below the western DC is modified due to plume-continental lithosphere interactions during the CretaceouseTertiary period.A west-verging moderately conductive feature imaged beneath EGMB lithosphere is interpreted as the remnant of the Proterozoic collision process between the Indian land mass and East Antarctica.Thin (-120 km) lithosphere is seen below the EGMB,which form the exterior margin of the India shield subsequent to its separation from East Antarctica through rifting and opening of the Indian Ocean in the Cretaceous. | D. | 5 | Polynomial friction pendulum isolators(PFPIs)for seismic performance control of benchmark highway bridge显示文摘The seismic response of a benchmark highway bridge isolated with passive polynomial friction pendulum isolators(PFPIs)is investigated and subjected to six bidirectional ground motion records.The benchmark study is based on a lumped mass finite-element model of the 91/5 highway overcrossing located in Southern California.The PFPI system possesses two important parameters;one is horizontal flexibility and the other is energy absorbing capacity through friction.The evaluation criteria of the benchmark bridge are analyzed considering two parameters,time period of the isolator and coefficient of friction of the isolation surface.The results of the numerical study are compared with those obtained from the traditional friction pendulum system(FPS).Dual design performance of the PFPI system suppressed the displacement and acceleration response of the benchmark highway bridge.The dual design hysteresis loop of the PFPI system is the main advantage over the linear hysteresis loop of the FPS.The numerical result indicates that the seismic performance of the PFPI system is better than that of the traditional FPS isolated system.Further,it is observed that variations of the isolation time period and coefficient of friction of the FPS and PFPI systems have a significant effect on the peak responses of the benchmark highway bridge. | Arijit Saha Pumachandra Saha Sanjaya Kumar Patro | 2017 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2017，16，4： | 3 |

| 7 | Improvement in the dissolution rate and tableting properties of cefuroxime axetil by melt-granulated dispersion and surface adsorption显示文摘A combination of melt-granulated dispersion and surface adsorption techniques was used to enhance the dissolution and tableting properties of cefuroxime axetil(CA).Gelucire 50/13 was used as the melt-dispersion carrier and Sylysia 350 was used to adsorb the melt dispersion.Solubility studies showed an 8-fold increase in solubility at a ratio of 1:1.5 for CA:Gelucire 50/13.The minimum quantity of Sylysia 350 required to achieve the desired flowability and compressibility was 0.5 parts of Sylysia 350 per unit of Gelucire 50/13.Phase solubility studies showed negative ΔG_(tr)^(0) values for Gelucire 50/13 at various concentrations(2-10%,vv/v),indicating the spontaneous nature of solubilization.FT-IR and DSC spectra exhibited drug-excipient compatibility.Molecular modeling by a computational method employing energy minimization revealed entrapment of CA in Gelucire 50/13.The total potential energy of CA(70.562 keal/mol)was reduced to 33.578 keal/mol after solid dispersion with Gelucire 50/13.P-XRD studies indicated that the presence of Sylysia 350 is less likely to promote the reversion of the amorphous CA to a crystalline state.In vitro dissolution studies demonstrated an improved dissolution rate,and drug release at 15 min(Q_(15min))exhibited a 15-fold improvement.The rapidly dissolving CA tablets showed improved dissolution with improved tableting properties. | Jammula Sruti Chinam Niranjan Patra Suryakanta Swain Kanhu Charan Panigrahi Allupati Premananda Patro Sarwar Beg Subas Chandra Dinda Muddana Eswara Bhanoji Rao | 2013 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2013，3，2： | 2 |
