| 2 | Properties and characterization of Au^(3+)-adsorption by mycelial waste of Streptomyces aureofaciences显示文摘Mycelial waste of Streptomyces aureofaciences procured from the aureomycin fermentation industry is used as biosorbent for Au3+. The properties of Au3+ adsorption by the mycelial waste are studied. The results indicate that the optimum pH value of Au3+ adsorption is 3.5. The biosorption is a rapid and non-temperature-dependent process. The bio-sorptive capacity with 45.6 mg/g and efficiency with 91.2% are achieved under the conditions of pH 3.5 and 30℃ for 45 min, in which the ratio is 50 mg/g dry weight for the concentrations of initial Au3+ and the mycelial waste. The Au3+ ions adsorbed on the mycelial waste can be eluted. The observation in a transmission electron microscope shows that the Au3+ ions can be reduced to Au particles by the mycelial waste and the Au can become gold crystals with differentforms and sizes. | 3 | The effects of deficit irrigation on nitrogen consumption,yield,and quality in drip irrigated grafted and ungrafted watermelon显示文摘The aim of this study is to determine the effects of deficit irrigation on nitrogen consumption,yield,and quality in grafted and ungrafted watermelon.The study was conducted in Cukurova region,Eastern Mediterranean,Turkey,between 2006 and 2008,and employed 3 irrigation rates(full irrigation(l_(100)) with no stress,moderate irrigation(Dl_(70)),and low irrigation(Dl_(50));Dl_(70) and Dl_(50) were considered deficit irrigation) on grafted(CTJ,Crimson Tide+Jumbo) and the ungrafted(CT,Crimson Tide) watermelon.The amount of irrigation water(IR) applied to the study plots were calculated based on cumulative pan evaporation that occurred during the irrigation intervals.Nitrogen consumption was 16%lower in CTJ plants than in CT plants.On the other hand,consumption of nitrogen was 28%higher in Dl_(50) plants than in Dl_(70) plants while it was 23%higher in Dl_(50) plants than in l_(100) plants.By grafting,the average amount of nitrogen content in seeds,pulps and peels for CTJ was 30,43 and 56%more than those of CT,respectively.The yield and the quality were not significantly affected by the deficit irrigation.In this respect,grafting of watermelon gave higher yield,but,it had a slight effect on fruit quality.The highest yield values of 16.90 and 19.32 kg plant^(-1) in 2008 were obtained with l_(100)and in CTJ plants,respectively.However,Dl_(50) treatment could be taken into account for the development of reduced irrigation strategies in semiarid regions where irrigation water supplies are limited.Additionally,the yield increased by applying CTJ treatment to the watermelon production. | Selcuk zmen Riza Kanber Nebahat Sari Mustafa nl | 2015 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2015,14,5: | 10 |
| 4 | A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. | 7 | Revealing the Common Mechanisms of Scutellarin in Angina Pectoris and Ischemic Stroke Treatment via A Network Pharmacology Approach显示文摘Objective:To investigate the shared mechanisms of scutellarin in angina pectoris(AP)and ischemic stroke(IS)treatment.Methods:A network pharmacology approach was used to detect the potential mechanisms of scutellarin in AP and IS treatment by target prediction,protein-protein interaction(PPI)data collection,network construction,network analysis,and enrichment analysis.Furthermore,molecular docking simulation was employed to analyze the interaction between scutellarin and core targets.Results:Two networks were established,including a disease-target network and a PPI network of scutellarin targets against AP and IS.Network analysis showed that 14 targets,namely,AKT1,VEGFA,JUN,ALB,MTOR,ESR1,MAPK8,HSP90 AA1,NOS3,SERPINE1,FGA,F2,FOXO3,and STAT1,might be the therapeutic targets of scutellarin in AP and IS.Among them,NOS3 and F2 were recognized as the core targets.Additionally,molecular docking simulation confirmed that scutellarin exhibited a relatively high potential for binding to the active sites of NOS3 and F2.Furthermore,enrichment analysis indicated that scutellarin might exert a therapeutic role in both AP and IS by regulating several important pathways,such as coagulation cascades,mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling pathway,phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase(PI3 K)/protein kinase B(Akt)/mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR)signaling pathway,Toll-like receptor signaling pathway,hypoxia inducible factor-1(HIF-1)signaling pathway,forkhead box O(Fox O)signaling pathway,tumor necrosis factor(TNF)signaling pathway,adipocytokine signaling pathway,insulin signaling pathway,insulin resistance,and estrogen signaling pathway.Conclusions:The shared underlying mechanisms of scutellarin on AP and IS treatment might be strongly associated with its vasorelaxant,anticoagulant,anti-inflammatory,and antioxidative effects as well as its effect on improving lipid metabolism. | MENG Zi-qi WU Jia-rui ZHU Ying-li ZHOU Wei FU Chang-geng LIU Xin-kui LIU Shu-yu Nl Meng-wei GUO Si-yu | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2021,27,1: | 4 |

The results showed that at 30°C and pH 3.5, when dry R08 biomass powder (800 mg/L) was mixed with Pd2+ (100 mg/L) for 45 min, the rate constant k of biosorption of Pd2+ attained a maximum of 5.97×10-2 min-1 and the half life period of the reaction reached 12 min. The part of Pd2+ adsorbed by R08 biomass was reduced to elemental, cell-bound Pd0 at the same condition.
