1Identification of squamous cell carcinoma associated proteins by proteomics and loss of beta tropomyosin expression in esophageal cancer显示文摘AIM: To assess the proteome of normal versus tumor tissue in squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus (SCCE) in Iranian patients and compare our results with former reports by using proteomics. METHODS: Protein was extracted from normal and tumor tissues. Two dimensional electrophoresis was carried out and spots with differential expression were identified with mass spectrometry. RNA extraction and RT-PCR along with immunodetection were performed. RESULTS: Fourteen proteins were found whose expression levels differed in tumor compared to normal tissues. Mass spectrometric analysis resulted in the identification of β-tropomyosin (TMβ), myosin light chain 2 (and its isoform), myosin regulatory light chain 2, peroxyredoxin 2, annexinⅠand an unknown polypeptide as the down regulated polypeptides in tumor tissue. Heat shock protein 70 (HSP70), TPM4-ALK fusion oncoprotein 2, myosin light polypeptide 6, keratinⅠ, GH16431p and calreticulin were the up-regulated polypeptides found in tumor tissue. Several of these proteins, such as TMβ,HSP70, annexinⅠ, calreticulin, TPM4-ALK and isoforms of myosins, have been well recognized in tumorigenesis of esophageal or other types of cancers. 2Kinematic Analysis and Design of a 3-DOF Translational Parallel Robot显示文摘Parallel mechanisms are widely used in various fields of engineering and industrial applications such as machine tools, flight simulators, earthquake simulators, medical equipment, etc. Parallel mechanisms are restricted to some limitations such as irregular workspace, existence of singular points and complexity of control systems which should be studied and analyzed for effective and efficient use. In this research, a new machine tool with parallel mechanism which has three translational degrees of freedom is studied and the workspace and singular points are determined by deriving analytical equations and then utilizing of Matlab software. To do so, forward and inverse kinematics of the mechanism are obtained and workspace and singular points are calculated using a search algorithm.Afterward, in order to validate the results, the proposed mechanism is simulated in automatic dynamics analysis of mechanical systems(ADAMS) software. 3Effect of ultrasonic irradiation on rheological properties of asphaltenic crude oils显示文摘In this work, the rheological changes of several crude oil samples exposed to ultrasonic waves for different time intervals in addition to the effect of temperature on viscosity behavior of heavy crude oils were investigated using a series of steady shear flow and oscillatory tests. The colloidal structural evolutions of flocs in oil samples were illustrated by analysis of the size distribution of flocculated asphaltene particles (confocal microscopy tests). The rheological investigations indicate that the ultrasonic irradiation dissolved heavy components in crude oil. After ultrasonic treatment, the Kouh-e-Mond crude oil was found to be pseudoplastic. In addition, confocal microscopy confirms that there was an optimum duration for ultrasonic irradiation, at which the viscosity and flocculation rate of asphaltenic crude oils reduced to the minimum values. The optimum was found to be approximately 40 min for the Kouh-e-Mond crude oil. Experimental results illustrate that the ultrasonic irradiation could disaggregate heavy colloid components in crude oil, and breakdown of asphaltene molecules would only occur in a specific time interval of irradiation. 4Stair and Step Soliton Solutions of the Integrable (2+1) and (3+1)-Dimensional Boiti-Leon-Manna-Pempinelli Equations显示文摘The multiple exp-function method is a new approach to obtain multiple wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs). By this method one can obtain multi-soliton solutions of NLPDEs. In this paper, using computer algebra systems, we apply the multiple exp-function method to construct the exact multiple wave solutions of a (2+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-Manna-Pempinelli equation. Also, we extend the equation to a (3+1)-dimensional case and obtain some exact solutions for the new equation by applying the multiple exp-function method. 5小胶质细胞再激活可缓解脑损伤后炎症反应并促进脑功能恢复显示文摘中枢神经系统疾病或损伤后,小胶质细胞介导的慢性神经炎症反应会损伤局部脑组织,加重病情,不利于神经功能的恢复。小胶质细胞的激活通过集落刺激因子1受体(CSF1R)信号通路,CSF1R抑制剂可阻断小胶质细胞的激活。抑制慢性神经炎症反应是治疗中枢神经系统疾病的有效方法,但长时间抑制小胶质细胞在临床实践中无法实现。值得注意的是,去掉CSF1R抑制剂可刺激中枢神经系统内新的小胶质细胞的彻底重激活。本课题组建立小鼠广泛性神经元丢失模型,在该模型中探讨急性小胶质细胞的消除及再激活的作用。神经元的丢失导致了较长时间的神经炎性反应,表现为小胶质细胞肿胀,并表达CD68和CD45;同时,细胞因子、趋化因子、补体及其他炎症信号的表达增加。小胶质细胞的再激活可以缓解上述炎症反应,还可以促进小鼠神经功能的恢复,即使该小鼠的海马神经元丢失80%,其在水迷宫测试中的得分与正常小鼠的得分相差无几。对突触的分析结果显示,小胶质细胞的再激活可增加PSD95和突触泡蛋白点状突触体的表达,提示小胶质细胞有助于重塑和调节突触的形态和功能。综上所述,本研究结果显示,小胶质细胞的短时间消除及再激活可能是一种新颖有效的方法用于减少神经炎性反应并促进脑功能恢复。Rice RA Pham J Lee RJ Najafi AR West BL Green KN 唐颖馨(编译) 2017神经损伤与功能重建2017,12,3:9
6糖尿病患者血清胱抑素C和急性反应指标与视网膜病变严重程度相关性研究(英文)显示文摘目的:评估糖尿病视网膜病变(DR)严重程度与血清胱抑素C和急性时相反应指标的相关性,包括红细胞沉降率(ESR)和超敏C反应蛋白(hs-CRP)。方法:研究纳入了1mo内就诊的所有糖尿病视网膜病患者。患者均记录人口统计学数据。行眼科检查,同时检测糖化血红蛋白(Hb A1c)、ESR、hs-CRP和血清胱抑素C水平。结果:研究包括67例糖尿病患者,其中19例(28.3%)无视网膜病变患者,22例(32.8%)非增殖型视网膜病变患者和26例(38.8%)增殖型视网膜病变患者。三组间平均年龄、性别分布、平均糖尿病病程、高血压和血脂异常患病率、吸烟状况以及Hb A1c水平无明显差异。随着视网膜病变发展,平均血清胱抑素C水平显著提高,三组分别为1.1±0.48,1.22±0.38,1.71±0.92(P=0.007)。在多元回归分析中,仅血清胱抑素C与糖尿病视网膜病变严重程度有关(P=0.025)。结论:研究表明,在独立于急性时相反应指标,血清胱抑素C水平随DR加重升高。因此,该结论可作为初级医护人员区分高危患者的标志。Joobin Khadamy Gholamhossein Yaghoobi Abbas Hosseini Rad Mahnaz Najafi Saeed Reza Heydari Pardis Khademi 2018国际眼科杂志2018,18,3:8
7结膜滤过泡组织病理学特性显示文摘目的:描述并比较在修复小梁切除术和由于疏忽造成的滤过泡时得到的的结膜的组织学特征并评价抗纤维变性药物的作用。方法:我们对经过晚期滤过泡修复的28只眼的结膜标本采用常规石蜡制作的方法和光学显微镜下检查进行仔细观察:19只眼为渗漏的小梁切除术滤过泡,5只眼为无渗漏的小梁切除术滤过泡,4只眼为由于疏忽造成的滤过泡。定量分析的组织学特征包括结膜上皮的厚度,基质血管供应,鳞状组织化生,基质炎症细胞浸润和杯状细胞的密度。并且分析了手术类型,存在渗漏,先前的局部用药,应用抗纤维化药物都与组织学检查所见并置对比。结果:与由于疏忽造成的滤过泡的对照组相比,小梁切除术的滤过泡(渗漏的和无渗漏的)显示上皮的厚度(P〈0.02),杯状细胞的密度(P〈0.001)和血管供应(P〈0.001)全部降低。接受过抗纤维化药物的结膜比先前未受抗纤维化药物影响的结膜的上皮细胞层数更少(P〈0.05)。结论:小梁切除术后切除的薄的滤过泡的组织学分析证明上皮的厚度和杯状细胞的密度与由于疏忽造成的滤过泡相比均降低。与正常结膜相比。Brian A. 8Multi-objective planning model for simultaneous reconfiguration of power distribution network and allocation of renewable energy resources and capacitors with considering uncertainties显示文摘This research develops a comprehensive method to solve a combinatorial problem consisting of distribution system reconfiguration, capacitor allocation, and renewable energy resources sizing and siting simultaneously and to improve power system's accountability and system performance parameters. Due to finding solution which is closer to realistic characteristics, load forecasting, market price errors and the uncertainties related to the variable output power of wind based DG units are put in consideration. This work employs NSGA-II accompanied by the fuzzy set theory to solve the aforementioned multi-objective problem. The proposed scheme finally leads to a solution with a minimum voltage deviation, a maximum voltage stability, lower amount of pollutant and lower cost. The cost includes the installation costs of new equipment, reconfiguration costs, power loss cost, reliability cost, cost of energy purchased from power market, upgrade costs of lines and operation and maintenance costs of DGs. Therefore, the proposed methodology improves power quality, reliability and security in lower costs besides its preserve, with the operational indices of power distribution networks in acceptable level. 10Radiation-induced inflammation and autoimmune diseases显示文摘Currently,ionizing radiation(IR)plays a key role in the agricultural and medical industry,while accidental exposure resulting from leakage of radioactive sources or radiological terrorism is a serious concern.Exposure to IR has various detrimental effects on normal tissues.Although an increased risk of carcinogenesis is the best-known long-term consequence of IR,evidence has shown that other diseases,particularly diseases related to inflammation,are common disorders among irradiated people.Autoimmune disorders are among the various types of immune diseases that have been investigated among exposed people.Thyroid diseases and diabetes are two autoimmune diseases potentially induced by IR.However,the precise mechanisms of IR-induced thyroid diseases and diabetes remain to be elucidated,and several studies have shown that chronic increased levels of inflammatory cytokines after exposure play a pivotal role.Thus,cytokines,including interleukin-1(IL-1),tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α)and interferon gamma(IFN-α),play a key role in chronic oxidative damage following exposure to IR.Additionally,these cytokines change the secretion of insulin and thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH).It is likely that the management of inflammation and oxidative damage is one of the best strategies for the amelioration of these diseases after a radiological or nuclear disaster.In the present study,we reviewed the evidence of radiation-induced diabetes and thyroid diseases,as well as the potential roles of inflammatory responses.In addition,we proposed that the mitigation of inflammatory and oxidative damage markers after exposure to IR may reduce the incidence of these diseases among individuals exposed to radiation.Rasoul Yahyapour Peyman Amini Saeed Rezapour Mohsen Cheki Abolhasan Rezaeyan Bagher Farhood Dheyauldeen Shabeeb Ahmed Eleojo Musa Hengameh Fallah Masoud Najafi 2018Military Medical Research2018,5,1:7

13Application of Stool-PCR test for diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection in children显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the usefulness of stool-PCR test for diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori(H pylori)infection in pediatric populations. METHODS:Based on endoscopic features(including nodular gastritis,erosive duodenitis and ulcer)and/or a positive rapid urease test(RUT)obtained during endoscopy,28 children from a group of children admitted to the Children's Medical Center of Tehran for persistent upper gastrointestinal problems were selected to compare biopsy-based tests with stoolPCR.Their gastric activity and bacterial density were graded by the updated Sydney system,and their first stool after endoscopy was stored at-70℃.Biopsies were cultured on modified campy-blood agar plates and identified by gram-staining,biochemical tests,and PCR.Two methods of phenol-chloroform and boiling were used for DNA extraction from H pylori isolates. Isolation of DNA from stool was performed using a stool DNA extraction kit(Bioneer Inc,Korea).PCR was performed using primers for detection of vacA,cagA,and 16srRNA genes in both isolates and stool. RESULTS:Sixteen out of 28 child patients(57%) were classified as H pylori positive by biopsy-based tests,of which 11(39%)were also positive by stoolPCR.Sensitivity and specificity of stool-PCR was 62.5% and 92.3%respectively.H pylori was observed in histological sections for 10 out of 11 stool-positivepatients.Association was observed between higher score of H pylori in histology and positivity of stoolPCR.Also association was observed between the more severe form of gastritis and a positive stool-PCR. 14双眼屈光不正性弱视和远视的相关性研究(英文)显示文摘目的:探讨在远视、眼正位儿童中双眼屈光不正性弱视与远视患病率的关系。方法:选取56例两眼对称远视儿童,平均年龄5.5岁,分为两组,双眼远视≤+4.0D等效球镜组和双眼远视>+4.0D等效球镜组。评估两组双眼屈光不正性弱视的患病率,并进行比较。结果:在32例双眼远视≤+4.0D等效球镜组中,4例(13%)患双眼屈光不正性弱视;24例双眼远视>+4.0D等效球镜组中,15例(63%)患双眼屈光不正性弱视。统计学分析显示两组双眼屈光不正的儿童中弱视患病率有显著性差异(P<0.01)。结论:双眼屈光不正性弱视在双眼远视的儿童中并不罕见,尤其是当远视度数大于+4.0D等效球镜时。基于本次调查,双眼远视>+4.0D的儿童有13%~63%发展成两眼屈光不正性弱视。由此说明远视>+4.0D的儿童患两眼屈光不正性弱视的几率较大。Ali Rezaei Shokooh Farhad Adhami Moqadam Abdolhamid Najafi Youness Ghasemiy Mahnaz Vaezi MSc 2012国际眼科杂志2012,12,3:4

16使用非定常粘性和无粘求解器研究双螺旋桨在不同船舶尾流场中的性能显示文摘In this study,the performance of a twin-screw propeller under the influence of the wake field of a fully appended ship was investigated using a coupled Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes(RANS)/boundary element method(BEM)code.The unsteady BEM is an efficient approach to predicting propeller performance.By applying the time-stepping method in the BEM solver,the trailing vortex sheet pattern of the propeller can be accurately captured at each time step.This is the main innovation of the coupled strategy.Furthermore,to ascertain the effect of the wake field of the ship with acceptable accuracy,a RANS solver was developed.A finite volume method was used to discretize the Navier–Stokes equations on fully unstructured grids.To simulate ship motions,the volume of the fluid method was applied to the RANS solver.The validation of each solver(BEM/RANS)was separately performed,and the results were compared with experimental data.Ultimately,the BEM and RANS solvers were coupled to estimate the performance of a twin-screw propeller,which was affected by the wake field of the fully appended hull.The proposed model was applied to a twin-screw oceanography research vessel.The results demonstrated that the presented model can estimate the thrust coefficient of a propeller with good accuracy as compared to an experimental self-propulsion test.The wake sheet pattern of the propeller in open water(uniform flow)was also compared with the propeller in a real wake field.Saeed Najafi Mehdi Pourmostafa 2022Journal of Marine Science and Application2022,21,2:3
17Sediment contribution from different geologic formations and land uses in an Iranian small watershed,case study显示文摘Many intra and extra problems occurred due to unsustainable human use of natural resources leading to increasing sediment loads in the watersheds.However,few studies have been comprehensively conducted in progressing countries to prioritize sediment sources from different points of views,particularly in some countries like Iran where such valuable information is essential for proper watershed resources management.The present study was therefore planned to assess the importance of potential sediment sources viz.,spatial sources(geologic units) and source types(land use units) in sediment yield in Idelo watershed as one of the important sub-watersheds of Sefidrood large Watershed in Zanjan Province,Iran,using composite fingerprinting.In addition,the results of the sediment fingerprinting approach were compared with those of field measurement data obtained from studying soil erosion types(viz.,sheet,rill and gully erosion).Toward this attempt,16 tracers were detected in different geologic units and land uses and the sediment yielded at the watershed outlet.The results showed that the composite fingerprints of the different geologic units comprising As,N,Cu,Zn,OC and Co tracers could correctly distinguish 86% of the sediment source samples.The red gypsiferous marl contributed 85 percent in sediment yield.In regard to source types,the optimum composite fingerprint encompassed only N and Cu and provided a discriminatory efficiency of 90%.Besides that,the rangelands with 48.8% study area coverage had a significant contribution of 88% in sediment yield.The field measurements confirmed the reliability of results of fingerprinting approach in apportioning watershed scale sediment sources on the base of consistency of the two sets of results.It was also understood from the results,besides successful applicability of composite fingerprinting in assessing the provenance of the sediment yielded at the watershed outlet that the geologic formations and land use types played different roles in sediment yield.Such information helps managers and decision makers to properly regulate appropriate and adaptive management approaches in the study watershed.Seyed Hamidreza Sadeghi Saeed Najafi Alireza Riyahi Bakhtiari 2017International Journal of Sediment Research2017,32,2:3

19Effect of Active Gas on Weld Shape and Microstructure of Advanced A-TIG-Welded Stainless Steel显示文摘Advanced A-TIG method was conducted to increase the weld penetration and compared with the conventional TIG welding process.A two-pipeline setup was designed to apply Ar + CO_2 mixed gas as the outer layer,while pure argon was applied as the inner layer to prevent any consumption of the tungsten electrode.The results indicate that the presence of active gas in the molten pool led to the change in the temperature coefficient of surface tension so that the Marangoni convection turns inward and forms a deep weld zone.The increase in gas flow rate causes a decrease in the weld efficiency which is attributed to the increase in oxygen content in the weld pool and the formation o f a thicker oxide layer on the weld surface.Moreover,the stir and the temperature fluctuation,led by double shielding gas,create more homogeneous nucleation sites in the molten pool so that a fine grain micros true ture was obtained.Reza Nakhaei Alireza Khodabandeh Hamidreza Najafi 2016Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2016,29,3:3
20Gluten sensitive enteropathy in patients with iron deficiency anemia of unknown origin显示文摘AIM: To determine the prevalence of gluten sensitive enteropathy (GSE) in a large group of patients with iron deficiency anemia (IDA) of obscure origin. METHODS: In this cross-sectional study, patients with IDA of obscure origin were screened for GSE. Anti- endomysial antibody (EMA) and tissue transglutamin- ase antibody (tTG) levels were evaluated and duodenal biopsies were taken and scored according to the Marsh classification. The diagnosis of GSE was based on a positive serological test and abnormal duodenal histol- ogy. Gluten free diet (GFD) was advised for all the GSE patients. RESULTS: Of the 4120 IDA patients referred to our Hematology departments, 206 (95 male) patients were found to have IDA of obscure origin. Thirty out of 206 patients (14.6%) had GSE. The mean age of GSE pa- tients was 34.6 ± 17.03 (range 10-72 years). The female to male ratio was 1.3:1. Sixteen patients had Marsh 3,12 had Marsh 2, and 2 had Marsh 1 lesions. The sever- ity of anemia was in parallel with the severity of duode- nal lesions. Twenty-two GSE patients (73.3%) had no gastrointestinal symptoms. Fourteen GSE patients who adhered to GFD without receiving iron supplementation agreed to undergo follow up visits. After 6 mo of GFD, their mean hemoglobin levels (Hb) increased from 9.9 ± 1.6 to 12.8 ± 1.0 g/dL (P < 0.01). Interestingly, in 6 out of 14 patients who had Marsh 1/2 lesions (e.g. no villous atrophy) on duodenal biopsy, mean Hb increased from 11.0 ± 1.1 to 13.1 ± 1.0 g/dL (P < 0.01) while they did not receive any iron supplementation. CONCLUSION: There is a high prevalence (e.g. 14.6%) of GSE in patients with IDA of obscure origin.
