1Mobility-Aware Partial Computation Offloading in Vehicular Networks: A Deep Reinforcement Learning Based Scheme显示文摘Encouraged by next-generation networks and autonomous vehicle systems, vehicular networks must employ advanced technologies to guarantee personal safety, reduce traffic accidents and ease traffic jams.By leveraging the computing ability at the network edge,multi-access edge computing(MEC)is a promising technique to tackle such challenges.Compared to traditional full offloading, partial offloading offers more flexibility in the perspective of application as well as deployment of such systems.Hence,in this paper,we investigate the application of partial computing offloading in-vehicle networks. In particular,by analyzing the structure of many emerging applications,e.g.,AR and online games,we convert the application structure into a sequential multi-component model.Focusing on shortening the application execution delay,we extend the optimization problem from the single-vehicle computing offloading(SVCOP)scenario to the multi-vehicle computing offloading(MVCOP)by taking multiple constraints into account.A deep reinforcement learning(DRL)based algorithm is proposed as a solution to this problem.Various performance evaluation results have shown that the proposed algorithm achieves superior performance as compared to existing offloading mechanisms in deducing application execution delay.Jianfei Wang Tiejun Lv Pingmu Huang P.Takis Mathiopoulos 2020China Communications2020,17,10:7
2Pilot reuse and power control of D2D underlaying massive MIMO systems for energy efficiency optimization显示文摘It is predicted that there will be billions of machine type communication(MTC) devices to be deployed in near future. This will certainly cause severe access congestion and system overload which is one of the major challenges for the proper operation of 5G networks. Adopting device-to-device(D2D) communications into massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) systems has been considered as a potential solution to alleviate the overload of MTC devices by offloading the MTC traffic onto D2 D links. This work proposes a novel pilot reuse(PR) and power control(PC) for energy efficiency(EE) optimization of the uplink D2 D underlaying massive MIMO cellular systems. Although the use of large scale antenna array at the base station(BS) can eliminate most of the D2D-to-Cellular interference, the Cellular-to-D2 D interference and the channel estimation error caused by PR will remain significant. Motivated by this, and in order to reduce the channel estimation error, in this paper a novel heuristic PR optimum pilot reuse scheme is proposed for D2 D transmitters(D2DTs)selection. By taking into account the interference among users as well as the overall power consumption, the overall system EE is maximized through power optimization while maintaining the quality-of-service(Qo S)provisions for both cellular users(CUEs) and D2 D pairs. The power optimization problem is modeled as a non-cooperative game and, as such, a distributed iterative power control algorithm which optimizes users' power sequentially is proposed. Various performance evaluation results obtained by means of computer simulations have shown that the proposed PR scheme and PC algorithm can significantly increase the overall system EE.Shenghao XU Haixia ZHANG Jie TIAN P.Takis MATHIOPOULOS 2017Science China(Information Sciences)2017,60,10:3

4Outage Performance of Cognitive DF Relaying Networks Employing SWIPT显示文摘In this paper, the outage performance of a cognitive relaying network over Nakagami-m fading channels, employing simultaneous wireless information and power transfer(SWIPT) technology is analyzed and evaluated. The operation of this network is considered in conjunction with the conventional decode-and-forward(DF) and incremental DF(IDF) protocols. For the conventional DF protocol, it is assumed that there is no direct link between the secondary transmitter(S) and the secondary destination(D), while(for both protocols) after harvesting energy, the relay node(R) always helps to forward the resulting signal to D. However, for the IDF protocol, R assists in relaying S's information to D only when the direct communication between S and D has failed. Furthermore, for both DF and IDF protocols, we assume there is no power supply for R, and R harvests energy from the transmitted signal of S. We derive exact analytical expressions for the outage probability at D in DF and IDF protocols, respectively, in terms of the bivariate Meijer's G-function. Performance evaluation results obtained by means of Monte-Carlo simulations are also provided and have validated the correctness of the proposed analysis.jing yang yiyun cheng kostas p.peppas p.takis mathiopoulos jie ding 2018China Communications2018,15,4:2
