| 1 | Transmission scheme and performance analysis for decode-and-forward MIMO two-way relay systems显示文摘In decode-and-forward (DF) MIMO two-way relay systems, the transmission schemes are designed and the closed-form expressions for the outage probability and average symbol error rate (ASER) of the twoway relay system are derived based on two different scenarios of channel state information (CSI). For perfect CSI, the maximum-ratio-transmission and combining (MRT-MRC) technique is applied to design the beamforming and combining vectors. Without perfect CSI, the transmission scheme with limited feedback is designed, and the analytical results are verified through two kinds of codebooks, i.e., random vector quantization and Grassmann. | 3 | Energy efficient design for multiuser downlink energy and uplink information transfer in 5G显示文摘Simultaneous wireless information and power transfer(SWIPT) is studied in this paper for the wireless powered downlink(DL) and multiuser information uplink(UL) systems. The objective is to maximize the energy efficiency defined as the ratio of the achieved throughput over the energy cost by optimizing the time allocation for the DL and multi-user UL traffics and its goal is to obtain the analytical expression to the optimal time allocation yet the resulting difficulty comes from the sum throughput of the multiuser in UL as well as the corresponding power consumption. To tackle this, the Jensen inequality is applied to approximating the exact expression of the sum throughput for the UL multi-users, leading to an upper-bound of the counterpart.The final closed form is exact in the single-user scenario yet approximate in the multi-user scenario. | 4 | Combined adaptive beamforming with space-time block coding for multi-antenna communications显示文摘Aiming at the multi-antenna communication systems, a downlink transmit scheme combining adaptive beamforming (ABF) with space-time block coding (STBC) is first presented, which utilizes the maximization of the output mean signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the minimization of the symbol error rate (SER) upper bound of the three widely used modulations as the design criteria. Then, based on the moment generating function (MGF) and the Gauss-Chebyshev integration, a simple and accurate numerical method is presented to analyze the SER performance of the system with the new transmit scheme under the three commonly used modulations. | 5 | Outage Probability Minimization for Low-Altitude UAV-Enabled Full-Duplex Mobile Relaying Systems显示文摘In this paper, a novel unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-enabled full duplex decode-and-forward(DF) technique is used in mobile relaying system. Compared with conventional static relaying, mobile relaying provides more degree of freedom for experiencing better channel conditions and further improving the system reliable performance. The source and relay transmit power as well as relay trajectory are jointly optimized for sum outage probability minimization in mobile relaying system. Due to the non-convex nature of the original problem, block coordinate decent optimization techniques are employed to decompose it into two sub-problems, which leads to an efficient iterative algorithm. Specifically, for the pre-determined relay trajectory, the optimal transmit power of source and relay are obtained by solving Karush-Kuhn-Tucker(KKT) conditions. For the given source/relay power allocation, the optimal UAV trajectory is obtained by solving dual problem. Based on the two steps, an iterative algorithm is proposed to jointly optimize source/relay power allocation and UAV trajectory alternately. | 7 | Doubly selective fading channel estimation in MIMO OFDM systems显示文摘High data transmission rates and high mobility give rise to time- and frequency-selectivity in wireless communication channels. This paper investigated time and frequency doubly selective channel estimation using pilot tones among Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). Firstly, a complex exponential basis expansion channel model (BECM) was introduced to represent doubly selective channel during an OFDM symbol period; then, based on BECM, an effective MIMO-OFDM doubly selective channel estimation method was presented; finally, the optimality in designing pilot tones parameters was done according to the minimization of channel estimation MSE, mainly including the number, the placement and the structure of pilot tones. | 8 | Ultrathin Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)(MXene) Nanosheet-Wrapped NiSe_(2) Octahedral Crystal for Enhanced Supercapacitor Performance and Synergetic Electrocatalytic Water Splitting显示文摘Metal selenides,such as NiSe2,have exhibited great potentials as multifunctional materials for energy storage and conversation.However,the utilization of pure NiSe2 as electrode materials is limited by its poor cycling stability,low electrical conductivity,and insufficient electrochemically active sites.To remedy these defects,herein,a novel NiSe2/Ti3C2Tx hybrid with strong interfacial interaction and electrical properties is fabricated,by wrapping NiSe2 octahedral crystal with ultrathin Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheet.The NiSe2/Ti3C2Tx hybrid exhibits excellent electrochemical performance,with a high specific capacitance of 531.2 Fg-1 at1 A g-1 for supercapacitor,low overpotential of 200 mV at 10 mA g-1,and small Tafel slope of 37.7 mV dec-1 for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Furthermore,greater cycling stabilities for NiSe2/Ti3C2Tx hybrid in both supercapacitor and HER have also been achieved.These significant improvements compared with unmodified NiSe2 should be owing to thestrong interfacial interaction between NiSe2 octahedral crystal and Ti3C2Tx MXene,which provides enhanced conductivity,fast charge transfer as well as abundant active sites,and highlight the promising potentials in combinations of MXene with metal selenides for multifunctional applications such as energy storage and conversion. | Hanmei Jiang Zegao Wang Qian Yang Luxi Tan Lichun Dong Mingdong Dong | 2019 | Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,2: | 4 |

| 10 | Study of Yield Combining Ability and Genetic Relationship Among Exotic Tropical,Subtropical Maize(Zea mays L.) Inbreds and Temperate Maize Inbreds in China显示文摘Information on the genetic relationship between tropical maize (Zea mays L), germplasm and temperate maize germplasm is of great value to maize breeding. The objective of this study was to determine the combining ability and genetic relationship of 25 inbreds extracted from five tropical maize populations and a land race, with four temperate maize inbreds (Huangzaosi, Mo17, B73 and Dan 340). The 25 tropical inbreds were crossed with the four temperate inbreds and evaluated. Lines from Suwan1 and POP28 had high general combining ability (GCA) for grain yield. The lines from POP32 (ETO) had the highest special combining ability (SCA) with B73; the average SCA value of the 5 lines was 879 kg/ha. The lines from Suwan1had the second-highest SCA (584 kg/ha) with Huangzaosi. The lines from Suwan1 had the greatest relative heterosis (20%) with B73, followed by the lines from POP32 (ETO) with B73 (19%). | 12 | Functionalized metal-organic frameworks with strong acidity and hydrophobicity as an efficient catalyst for the production of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural显示文摘In the dehydration of fructose to 5-hydroxymethyl furfural(HMF),in situ produced water weakens the acid strength of the catalyst and causes the rehydration of HMF,causing unsatisfactory catalytic activity and selectivity.In this work,a class of benzenesulfonic acid-grafted metal-organic frameworks with strong acidity and hydrophobicity is obtained by the direct sulfonation method using 4-chlorobenzenesulfonic acid as sulfonating agent.The resultant MOFs have a specific surface area of greater than 250 m^(2)·g^(-1),acid density above 1.0 mmol·g^(-1),and water contact angle up to 129°.The hydrophobic MOF-PhSO_(3)H exhibits both higher catalytic activity and selectivity than MOF-SO_(3)H in the HMF synthesis due to its better hydrophobicity and olephilicity.Moreover,the catalyst has a high recycled stability.At last,fructose is completely converted,and 98.0%yield of HMF is obtained under 120℃ in a DMSO solvent system.The successful preparation of the hydrophobic acidic MOF provides a novel hydrophobic catalyst for the synthesis of HMF. | Huan Li Yao Zhong Luxi Wang Qiang Deng Jun Wang Zheling Zeng Xinxiang Cao Shuguang Deng | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,5: | 2 |
| 13 | Many-lined Sun Skinks(Mabuya multifasciata) Shift Their Thermal Preferences Downwards When Fasted显示文摘We maintained adult many-lined sun skinks(Mabuya multifasciata; 12 females and 12 males) collected from Hainan(southern China) in September 2006 in two outdoor enclosures to examine the effect of feeding condition on selected body temperature(Tsel).Skinks shifted their thermal preferences when fasted.Temporal variation in Tsel was not found within each sex feeding condition combination,and neither in fed nor in fasted skinks did the mean values for Tsel differ between sexes.Body temperatures selected by fed skinks fell within the range from 30.2 to 33.9 C,and those selected by fasted skinks within the range from 25.1 to 31.8 C.Body temperatures(31.8 0.3 C) selected by fed skinks were on average 4.0 C higher than those(27.8 0.4 C) selected by fasted skinks.Fasted skinks had no difficulty in attaining higher body temperatures,but they voluntarily shift their thermal preferences downwards to save energy.This finding suggests an adaptive mechanism adopted by many-lined sun skinks to enhance their fitness during the periods when food availability is low. | LI Hong MAO Luxi SHI Linqiang JI Xiang | 2010 | Asian Herpetological Research2010,1,1: | 2 |
| 14 | Characteristic and correlation analysis of influent and energy consumption of wastewater treatment plants in Taihu Basin显示文摘The water quality and energy consumption of wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)in Taihu Basin were evaluated on the basis of the operation data from 204 municipal WWTPs in the basin by using various statistical methods.The influent ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N)and total nitrogen(TN)of WWTPs in Taihu Basin showed normal distribution,whereas chemical oxygen demand(COD),biochemical oxygen demand(BOD5),suspended solid(SS),and total phosphorus(TP)showed positively skewed distribution.The influent BOD5/COD was 0.4%-0.6%,only 39.2%SS/BOD5 exceeded the standard by 36.3%,the average BOD5/TN was 3.82,and the probability of influent BOD5/TP>20 was 82.8%.The average energy consumption of WWTPs in Taihu Basin in 2017 was 0.458 kWh/m^3.The specific energy consumption of WWTPs with a daily treatment capacity of more than 5×10^4 m^3 in Taihu Basin was stable at 0.33 kWh/m^3.A power function relationship was observed between the reduction in COD and NH3-N and the specific energy consumption of pollutant reduction,and the higher the pollutant reduction is,the lower the specific energy consumption of pollutant reduction presents.In addition,a linear relationship existed between the energy consumption of WWTPs and the specific energy consumption of influent volume and pollutant reduction.Therefore,upgrading and operation with less energy consumption of WWTPs is imperative and the suggestions for Taihu WWTPs based on stringent discharge standard are proposed in detail. | Luxi Zou Huaibo Li Shuo Wang Kaikai Zheng Yan Wang Guocheng Du Ji Li | 2019 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2019,13,6: | 2 |
