1传统青稞酒发酵过程中化学成分动态变化的研究显示文摘传统青稞酒发酵过程中,酒醅的pH由6.07显著下降至约4.09(p<0.05);总酸在36h时显著升高到0.80%(p<0.05),之后略有下降,发酵终点时为0.73%.发酵品温先缓升,再缓降,最高达36.2℃;发酵过程中还原糖含量和糖化酶活力都在24h内显著增加(p<0.05),达到最大值后逐渐下降;总糖呈显著性下降趋势,而酒精度显著增高(p<0.05),平均浓度达6.53%左右;酒醅中酸性蛋白酶活力及氨态氮含量同时呈显著性增高(p<0.05),24h后逐渐降低.经过72h发酵,青稞酒醅的蛋白质含量平均值高达19.63%,碳水化合物含量下降,总能量值与熟青稞差异不显著,矿物质成分含量则显著增加(p<0.05),更加具有营养价值.传统青稞酒游离氨基酸总含量达110.912 mg/100mL,但相对于黄酒及日本清酒较低;感官检验表明风味较好的传统青稞酒的发酵时间约为60~72h.杜木英 伍怡郦 阚建全 Judit Beczner 陈宗道 2007食品工业科技2007,28,9:23
2青稞酒发酵过程中生物胺动态变化显示文摘对青稞酒发酵过程中生物胺的动态变化规律进行研究。利用氨基酸自动分析液相色谱法测定青稞酒不同发酵阶段中7种生物胺的含量,来评价发酵环境以及控制合理发酵过程和发酵终产物的质量。结果表明:青稞原料中不含组胺,但是青稞酒醅及成品青稞酒中都含有组胺。传统发酵和多菌种发酵两种发酵方式青稞酒的生物胺含量变化规律是:腐胺及胍丁胺的含量变化随着发酵的进行呈下降趋势;组胺及酪胺的含量随发酵进程逐渐上升,尤其是酪胺,上升趋势明显,多菌种发酵由2.98μg/g上升至5.36μg/g,传统发酵由5.97μg/g上升至11.67μg/g。其余各种生物胺含量变化不明显,发酵过程的生物胺总量变化也不显著。本实验检测的青稞酒醅中的生物胺总量范围在53.44~72.56μg/g,不存在生物胺安全问题。杜木英 陈宗道 阚建全 Judit BECZNER Agnes BARATH Anna HALASZ 2012食品科学2012,33,3:19
3Is rectal indomethacin effective in preventing of post-endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography pancreatitis?显示文摘AIM:To investigate the effectiveness of rectally administered indomethacin in the prophylaxis of post-endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)pancreatitis and hyperamylasaemia in a multicentre study.METHODS:A prospective,randomised,placebocontrolled multicentre study in five endoscopic units was conducted on 686 patients randomised to receive a suppository containing 100 mg indomethacin,or an inert placebo,10-15 min before ERCP.Post-ERCP pancreatitis and hyperamylasaemia were evaluated 24 h following the procedure on the basis of clinical signs and laboratory parameters,and computed tomography/magnetic resonance imaging findings if required.RESULTS:Twenty-one patients were excluded because of incompleteness of their data or because of protocol violation.The results of 665 investigations were evaluated:347 in the indomethacin group and 318 in the placebo group.The distributions of the risk factors in the two groups did not differ significantly.Pancreatitis developed in 42 patients(6.3%):it was mild in34(5.1%)and severe in eight(1.2%)cases.Hyperamylaesemia occurred in 160 patients(24.1%).There was no significant difference between the indomethacin and placebo groups in the incidence of either postERCP pancreatitis(5.8%vs 6.9%)or hyperamylasaemia(23.3%vs 24.8%).Similarly,subgroup analysis did not reveal any significant differences between the two groups.CONCLUSION:100 mg rectal indomethacin administered before ERCP did not prove effective in preventing post-ERCP pancreatitis.Zoltán Dbrnte Zoltán Szepes Ferenc Izbéki Judit Gervain László Lakatos Gyula Pécsi Miklós Ihász Lilla Lakner Erzsébet Toldy László Czakó 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,29:16
4Body-mass index correlates with severity and mortality in acute pancreatitis: A meta-analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND Obesity rates have increased sharply in recent decades. As there is a growing number of cases in which acute pancreatitis(AP) is accompanied by obesity, we found it clinically relevant to investigate how body-mass index(BMI) affects the outcome of the disease.AIM To quantify the association between subgroups of BMI and the severity and mortality of AP.METHODS A meta-analysis was performed using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis(PRISMA) Protocols. Three databases(PubMed, EMBASE and the Cochrane Library) were searched for articles containing data on BMI, disease severity and mortality rate for AP. Englishlanguage studies from inception to 19 June 2017 were checked against our predetermined eligibility criteria. The included articles reported all AP cases with no restriction on the etiology of the disease. Only studies that classified AP cases according to the Atlanta Criteria were involved in the severity analyses. Odds ratios(OR) and mean differences(MD) were pooled using the random effects model with the DerSimonian-Laird estimation and displayed on forest plots. The meta-analysis was registered in PROSPERO under number CRD42017077890.RESULTS A total of 19 articles were included in our meta-analysis containing data on 9997 patients. As regards severity, a subgroup analysis showed a direct association between AP severity and BMI. BMI < 18.5 had no significant effect on severity;however, BMI > 25 had an almost three-fold increased risk for severe AP in comparison to normal BMI(OR = 2.87, 95%CI: 1.90-4.35, P < 0.001). Importantly,the mean BMI of patients with severe AP is higher than that of the non-severe group(MD = 1.79, 95%CI: 0.89-2.70, P < 0.001). As regards mortality, death rates among AP patients are the highest in the underweight and obese subgroups. A BMI < 18.5 carries an almost two-fold increase in risk of mortality compared to normal BMI(OR = 1.82, 95%CI: 1.32-2.50, P < 0.001). However, the chance of mortality is almost equal in the normal BMI and BMI 25-30 subgroups. A BMI >30 results in a three times higher risk of mortality in comparison to a BMI < 30(OR = 2.89, 95%CI: 1.10-7.36, P = 0.026).CONCLUSION Our findings confirm that a BMI above 25 increases the risk of severe AP, while a BMI > 30 raises the risk of mortality. 5Restoration of energy level in the early phase of acute pediatric pancreatitis显示文摘Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a serious inflammatory disease with rising incidence both in the adult and pediatric populations. It has been shown that mitochondrial injury and energy depletion are the earliest intracellular events in the early phase of AP. Moreover, it has been revealed that restoration of intracellular ATP level restores cellular functions and defends the cells from death. We have recently shown in a systematic review and meta-analysis that early enteral feeding is beneficial in adults; however, no reviews are available concerning the effect of early enteral feeding in pediatric AP. In this minireview, our aim was to systematically analyse the literature on the treatmentof acute pediatric pancreatitis. The preferred reporting items for systematic review(PRISMA-P) were followed, and the question was drafted based on participants, intervention, comparison and outcomes: P: patients under the age of twenty-one suffering from acute pancreatitis; I: early enteral nutrition (per os and nasogastric- or nasojejunal tube started within 48 h); C: nil per os therapy; O: length of hospitalization, need for treatment at an intensive care unit, development of severe AP, lung injury (including lung oedema and pleural effusion), white blood cell count and pain score on admission. Altogether, 632 articles (Pub Med: 131; EMBASE: 501) were found. After detailed screening of eligible papers, five of them met inclusion criteria. Only retrospective clinical trials were available. Due to insufficient information from the authors, it was only possible to address length of hospitalization as an outcome of the study. Our mini-meta-analysis showed that early enteral nutrition significantly(SD = 0.806, P = 0.034) decreases length of hospitalization compared with nil per os diet in acute pediatric pancreatitis. In this minireview, we clearly show that early enteral nutrition, started within 24-48 h, is beneficial in acute pediatric pancreatitis. 6Data Management Planning:How Requirements and Solutions are Beginning to Converge显示文摘Effective stewardship of data is a critical precursor to making data FAIR.The goal of this paper is to bring an overview of current state of the art of data management and data stewardship planning solutions(DMP).We begin by arguing why data management is an important vehicle supporting adoption and implementation of the FAIR principles,we describe the background,context and historical development,as well as major driving forces,being research initiatives and funders.Then we provide an overview of the current leading DMP tools in the form of a table presenting the key characteristics.Next,we elaborate on emerging common standards for DMPs,especially the topic of machine-actionable DMPs.As sound DMP is not only a precursor of FAIR data stewardship,but also an integral part of it,we discuss its positioning in the emerging FAIR tools ecosystem.Capacity building and training activities are an important ingredient in the whole effort.Although not being the primary goal of this paper,we touch also the topic of research workforce support,as tools can be just as much effective as their users are competent to use them properly.We conclude by discussing the relations of DMP to FAIR principles,as there are other important connections than just being a precursor.Sarah Jones Robert Pergl Rob Hooft Tomasz Miksa Robert Samors Judit Ungvari Rowena I.Davis Tina Lee 2020Data Intelligence2020,2,1:7
7Intralesional steroid is beneficial in benign refractory esophageal strictures:A meta-analysis显示文摘AIM To analyze the effect of intralesional steroid injections in addition to endoscopic dilation of benign refractory esophageal strictures.METHODS A comprehensive search was performed in three databases from inception to 10 April 2017 to identify trials, comparing the efficacy of endoscopic dilation to dilation combined with intralesional steroid injections. Following the data extraction, meta-analytical calculations were performed on measures of outcome by the randomeffects method of Der Simonian and Laird. Heterogeneity of the studies was tested by Cochrane's Q and I^2 statistics. Risk of quality and bias was assessed by the Newcastle Ottawa Scale and JADAD assessment tools.RESULTS Eleven articles were identified suitable for analyses, involving 343 patients, 235 cases and 229 controls in total. Four studies used crossover design with 121 subjects enrolled. The periodic dilation index(PDI) was comparable in 4 studies, where the pooled result showed a significant improvement of PDI in the steroid group(MD:-1.12 dilation/month, 95% CI:-1.99 to -0.25 P = 0.012; I^2 = 74.4%). The total number of repeat dilations(TNRD) was comparable in 5 studies and showed a non-significant decrease(MD:-1.17, 95%CI:-0.24-0.05, P = 0.057; I^2 = 0), while the dysphagia score(DS) was comparable in 5 studies and did not improve(SMD: 0.35, 95%CI:-0.38, 1.08, P = 0.351; I^2 = 83.98%) after intralesional steroid injection.CONCLUSION Intralesional steroid injection increases the time between endoscopic dilations of benign refractory esophageal strictures. 8Prevalence of SLC22A4, SLC22A5 and CARD15 gene mutations in Hungarian pediatric patients with Crohn’s disease显示文摘AIM: To investigate the frequency of the common NOD2/CARD15 susceptibility variants and two functional polymorphisms of OCTN cation transporter genes in Hungarian pediatric patients with Crohn’s disease (CD). METHODS: A cohort of 19 unrelated pediatric and 55 unrelated adult patients with Crohn’s disease and 49 healthy controls were studied. Genotyping of the three common CD-associated CARD15 variants (Arg702Trp, Gly908Arg and 1007finsC changes) with the SLC22A4 1672C→T, and SLC22A5 -207G→C mutations was performed by direct sequencing of the specifi c regions of these genes.RESULTS: At least one CARD15 mutation was present in 52.6% of the children and in 34.5% of the adults compared to 14.3% in controls. Surprisingly, strongly different mutation profi le was detected in the pediatric versus adult patients. While the G908R and 1007finsC variants were 18.4% and 21.1% in the pediatric group, they were 1.82% and 11.8% in the adults, and were 1.02% and 3.06% in the controls, respectively. The R702W allele was increased approximately two-fold in the adult subjects, while in the pediatric group it was only approximately 64% of the controls (9.09% in the adults, 2.63% in pediatric patients, and 4.08% in the controls). 10Tumor-induced neurogenesis and immune evasion as targets of innovative anti-cancer therapies显示文摘Normal cells are hijacked by cancer cells forming together heterogeneous tumor masses immersed in aberrant communication circuits that facilitate tumor growth and dissemination.Besides the well characterized angiogenic effect of some tumor-derived factors;others,such as BDNF,recruit peripheral nerves and leukocytes.The neurogenic switch,activated by tumor-derived neurotrophins and extracellular vesicles,attracts adjacent peripheral fibers(autonomic/sensorial)and neural progenitor cells.Strikingly,tumor-associated nerve fibers can guide cancer cell dissemination.Moreover,IL-1β,CCL2,PGE2,among other chemotactic factors,attract natural immunosuppressive cells,including T regulatory(Tregs),myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs),and M2 macrophages,to the tumor microenvironment.These leukocytes further exacerbate the aberrant communication circuit releasing factors with neurogenic effect.Furthermore,cancer cells directly evade immune surveillance and the antitumoral actions of natural killer cells by activating immunosuppressive mechanisms elicited by heterophilic complexes,joining cancer and immune cells,formed by PD-L1/PD1 and CD80/CTLA-4 plasma membrane proteins.Altogether,nervous and immune cells,together with fibroblasts,endothelial,and bone-marrow-derived cells,promote tumor growth and enhance the metastatic properties of cancer cells.Inspired by the demonstrated,but restricted,power of anti-angiogenic and immune cell-based therapies,preclinical studies are focusing on strategies aimed to inhibit tumor-induced neurogenesis.Here we discuss the potential of anti-neurogenesis and,considering the interplay between nervous and immune systems,we also focus on anti-immunosuppression-based therapies.Small molecules,antibodies and immune cells are being considered as therapeutic agents,aimed to prevent cancer cell communication with neurons and leukocytes,targeting chemotactic and neurotransmitter signaling pathways linked to perineural invasion and metastasis.Rodolfo Daniel Cervantes-Villagrana Damaris Albores-García Alberto Rafael Cervantes-Villagrana Sara Judit García-Acevez 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:5
11Medication adherence in schizophrenia显示文摘Non-adherence is a major problem in the treatment of schizophrenia. Its high prevalence, potentially severe consequences and associated costs make the study of this phenomenon a priority issue. In this article, basic non-adherence concepts of prevalence, consequences, evaluation methods, methodological restrictions of available studies, risk factors and intervention strategies, are reviewed. Studying non-adherence risk factors is a necessary step toward designing adequately oriented intervention strategies. An operative definition of adherence and good knowledge of its evaluation methods are essential to study this phenomenon. Unfortunately, most available studies contain methodological restrictions, especially concerning the evaluation methods, and an agreed operative definition of adherence has only very recently been reached. 12Plasma carnitine ester profile in adult celiac disease patients maintained on long-term gluten free diet显示文摘AIM: To determine the fasting plasma carnitine ester in patients with celiac disease.METHODS: We determined the fasting plasma carnitine ester profile using ESI triple quadrupol mass spectrometry in 33 adult patients with biopsy-confirmed maturity onset celiac disease maintained on long term gluten free diet.RESULIS: The level of free camitine did not differ as the celiac disease patients were compared with the healthy controls, whereas the acetylcarnitine level was markedly reduced (4.703 ± 0.205 vs 10.227 ± 0.368 nmol/mL,P<0.01). 13Chronic total occlusion:To treat or not to treat显示文摘Over the last two decades,there has been increasing interest in new techniques for the percutaneous treatment of coronary chronic total occlusions(CTO),which have a success rate that is much higher than that of a few years ago.The rise in percutaneous treatment for these lesions is due to its ability to improve the symptoms and prognosis of patients in the chronic and stable phase of coronary disease.Current data suggest that successful percutaneous coronary intervention for CTO is associated with improvement in patient symptoms,quality of life,left ventricular function,and survival,compared with those with unsuccessful CTO PCI.However,all the scientific evidence supporting this treatment comes from observational studies,and no randomized study comparing percutaneous treatment with medical treatment has yet been published.A major limitation of these studies is their observational design,with limited information with regard to potential baseline differences between the successful vs unsuccessful cohorts.Pending randomized studies,patients should be selected very carefully,especially if they are asymptomatic or very few symptoms,and the benefits obtained in terms of complications during the procedure,the quality of life obtained and further ischemic events avoided should be evaluated systematically.In this review,we will consider the available information supporting percutaneous treatment for chronic occlusions,as well as the areas of uncertainty where more research projects are required.Alfredo Bardají Judit Rodriguez-López Mauricio Torres-Sánchez 2014World Journal of Cardiology2014,6,7:4

15Acclimatization of in Vitro-derived Dendrobium显示文摘The successful ex vitro establishment of Dendrobium plantlets raised in vitro determines the quality of the end product(cut flowers or potted plants) in commercial production for economic gain. When in vitro Dendrobium plantlets are transplanted from the culture room to greenhouse conditions, they may desiccate or wilt rapidly and can die as a result of changes in the environment, unless substantial precautions are taken to adapt plantlets to a new environment. The acclimatization of in vitro-grown Dendrobium plantlets to an ex vitro environment by gradually weaning them towards ambient relative humidity and light levels facilitates better survival of young and physiologically sensitive plantlets.Dendrobium plantlets raised in vitro must thus undergo a period of acclimatization or transitional development to correct anatomical abnormalities and to enhance their physiological performance to ensure survival under ex vitro conditions. The most common approach to improve the survival of Dendrobium plantlets upon transfer to an ex vitro environment is their gradual adaptation to that environment. Under such conditions, plants convert rapidly from a heterotrophic or photomixotrophic state to an autotrophic growth, develop a fully functional root system,and better control their stomatal and cuticular transpiration. Gradual adaptation is carried out in a greenhouse by decreasing relative humidity using fog or mist chambers and by increasing light intensity using shading techniques. This review details the acclimatization and ex vitro survival of Dendrobium plants produced in vitro. 16Zn-Mg and Zn-Cu alloys for stenting applications:From nanoscale mechanical characterization to in vitro degradation and biocompatibility显示文摘In the recent decades,zinc(Zn)and its alloys have been drawing attention as promising candidates for bioresorbable cardiovascular stents due to its degradation rate more suitable than magnesium(Mg)and iron(Fe)alloys.However,its mechanical properties need to be improved in order to meet the criteria for vascular stents.This work investigates the mechanical properties,biodegradability and biocompatibility of Zn-Mg and Zn-Cu alloys in order to determine a proper alloy composition for optimal stent performance.Nanoindentation measurements are performed to characterize the mechanical properties at the nanoscale as a function of the Zn microstructure variations induced by alloying.The biodegradation mechanisms are discussed and correlated to microstructure,mechanical performance and bacterial/cell response.Addition of Mg or Cu alloying elements refined the microstructure of Zn and enhanced yield strength(YS)and ultimate tensile strength(UTS)proportional to the volume fraction of secondary phases.Zn-1Mg showed the higher YS and UTS and better performance in terms of degradation stability in Hanks’solution.Zn-Cu alloys presented an antibacterial effect for S.aureus controlled by diffusion mechanisms and by contact.Biocompatibility was dependent on the degradation rate and the nature of the corrosion products.Claudia García-Mintegui Laura Catalina Córdoba Judit Buxadera-Palomero Andrea Marquina Emilio Jiménez-Piqué Maria-Pau Ginebra JoséLuis Cortina Marta Pegueroles 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,12:4

A case report and review of literature显示文摘The authors report the case of a 60-year-old male patient.In November 2001 he developed intestinal symptoms of bloody diarrhea and abdominal pain. Colononoscopy and biopsy established the diagnosis of ulcerative colitis (proctosigmoiditis). The disease activity was moderate at the beginning.No significant laboratory alterations were found (including CEA, CA19-9),and mesalazine was started orally.He was in remission until November 2003, when he was admitted to our Outpatient Clinic for upper and right lower abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea. Colonoscopy found proctosigmoiditis with a moderate activity, gastroscopy revealed chronic gastritis,laboratory data was normal. Treatment was amended with mesalazine clysma and methylprednisolone (16 mg) orally. Symptoms ameliorated;however, right lower abdominal pain persisted. US and CT examination demonstrated a pericecal cystic mass (11 cmx3.5 cm). At first pericecal abscess was suspected, as the previous US examination (6 mo earlier) had revealed normal findings. Fine needle aspiration was performed. Cytology confirmed the diagnosis of mucocele.The patient underwent partial cecum resection and extirpation of the mucocele. He recovered well and the final histology revealed a cystadenoma of the appendix. Follow up was started. 18Measurement of serum paraoxonase-1 activity in the evaluation of liver function显示文摘Paraoxonase-1 (PON1) is an esterase and lactonase synthesized by the liver and found in the circulation associated with high-density lipoproteins. The physiological function of PON1 seems to be to degrade specific oxidized cholesteryl esters and oxidized phospholipids in lipoproteins and cell membranes. PON1 is, therefore, an antioxidant enzyme. Alterations in circulating PON1 levels have been reported in a variety of diseases involving oxidative stress including chronic liver diseases. Measurement of serum PON1 activity has been proposed as a potential test for the evaluation of liver function. However, this measurement is still restricted to research and has not been extensively applied in routine clinical chemistry laboratories. The reason for this restriction is due to the problem that the substrate commonly used for PON1 measurement, paraoxon, is toxic and unstable. The recent development of new assays with non-toxic substrates makes this proposal closer to a practical development. 19Functional analysis and drug response to zinc and D-penicillamine in stable ATP7B mutant hepatic cell lines显示文摘AIM: To study the effect of anti-copper treatment for survival of hepatic cells expressing different ATP7 B mutations in cell culture. METHODS: The most common Wilson disease(WD) mutations p.H1069 Q, p.R778 L and p.C271*, found in the ATP7 B gene encoding a liver copper transporter, were studied. The mutations represent major genotypes of the United States and Europe, China, and India, respectively. A human hepatoma cell line previously established to carry a knockout of ATP7 B was used to stably express WD mutants. m RNA and protein expression of mutant ATP7 B, survival of cells, apoptosis, and protein trafficking were determined.RESULTS: Low temperature increased ATP7 B protein expression in several mutants. Intracellular ATP7 B localization was significantly impaired in the mutants. Mutants were classified as high, moderate, and no survival based on their viability on exposure to toxic copper. Survival of mutant p.H1069 Q and to a lesser extent p.C271* improved by D-penicillamine(DPA) treatment, while mutant p.R778 L showed a pronounced response to zinc(Zn) treatment. Overall, DPA treatment resulted in higher cell survival as compared to Zn treatment; however, only combined Zn + DPA treatment fully restored cell viability. 20Chronic kidney disease severely deteriorates the outcome of gastrointestinal bleeding: A meta-analysis显示文摘AIM To understand the influence of chronic kidney disease(CKD) on mortality, need for transfusion and rebleeding in gastrointestinal(GI) bleeding patients.METHODS A systematic search was conducted in three databases for studies on GI bleeding patients with CKD or endstage renal disease(ESRD) with data on outcomes of mortality, transfusion requirement, rebleeding rate and length of hospitalization(LOH). Calculations were performed with Comprehensive Meta-Analysis software using the random effects model. Heterogeneity was tested by using Cochrane's Q and I2 statistics. Mean difference(MD) and OR(odds ratio) were calculated.RESULTS1063 articles(EMBASE: 589; PubM ed: 459; Cochrane: 15) were found in total. 5 retrospective articles and 1 prospective study were available for analysis. These 6 articles contained data on 406035 patients, of whom 51315 had impaired renal function. The analysis showed a higher mortality in the CKD group(OR = 1.786, 95%CI: 1.689-1.888, P < 0.001) and the ESRD group(OR = 2.530, 95%CI: 1.386-4.616, P = 0.002), and a rebleeding rate(OR = 2.510, 95%CI: 1.521-4.144, P < 0.001) in patients with impaired renal function. CKD patients required more unit red blood cell transfusion(MD = 1.863, 95%CI: 0.812-2.915, P < 0.001) and spent more time in hospital(MD = 13.245, 95%CI: 6.886-19.623, P < 0.001) than the controls.CONCLUSION ESRD increases mortality, need for transfusion, rebleeding rate and LOH among GI bleeding patients.
