1Dynamic membrane bioreactor performance enhancement by powdered activated carbon addition:Evaluation of sludge morphological,aggregative and microbial properties显示文摘The effects of powdered activated carbon(PAC) addition on sludge morphological, aggregative and microbial properties in a dynamic membrane bioreactor(DMBR) were investigated to explore the enhancement mechanism of pollutants removal and filtration performance. Sludge properties were analyzed through various analytical measurements. The results showed that the improved sludge aggregation ability and the evolution of microbial communities affected sludge morphology in PAC-DMBR, as evidenced by the formation of large, regularly shaped and strengthened sludge flocs. The modifications of sludge characteristics promoted the formation process and filtration flux of the dynamic membrane(DM) layer. Additionally, PAC addition did not exert very significant influence on the propagation of eukaryotes(protists and metazoans)and microbial metabolic activity. High-throughput pyrosequencing results indicated that adding PAC improved the bacterial diversity in activated sludge, as PAC addition brought about additional microenvironment in the form of biological PAC(BPAC), which promoted the enrichment of Acinetobacter(13.9%), Comamonas(2.9%), Flavobacterium(0.31%) and Pseudomonas(0.62%), all contributing to sludge flocs formation and several(such as Acinetobacter) capable of biodegrading relatively complex organics. 3Vitamin D deficiency and hepatitis viruses-associated liver diseases:a literature review显示文摘The secosteroid hormone vitamin D has, in addition to its effects in bone metabolism also functions in the modulation of immune responses against infectious agents and in inhibiting tumorigenesis. Thus, deficiency of vitamin D is associated with several malignancies, but also with a plethora of infectious diseases. Among other communicable diseases, vitamin D deficiency is involved in the pathogenesis of chronic liver diseases caused by hepatitis B and C viruses(HBV, HCV) and high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency with serum levels below 20 mg/mL in patients with HBV and HCV infection are found worldwide. Several studies have assessed the effects of vitamin D supplementation on the sustained virological response(SVR) to interferon(IFN) plus ribavirin(RBV) therapy in HBV and HCV infection. In these studies, inconsistent results were reported. This review addresses general aspects of vitamin D deficiency and, in particular, the significance of vitamin D hypovitaminosis in the outcome of HBVand HCV-related chronic liver diseases. 4Genetic variants of interferon regulatory factor 5 associated with chronic hepatitis B infection显示文摘AIM To investigate possible effects of IRF5 polymorphisms in the 3' UTR region of the IFR5 locus on susceptibilityto hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection and progression of liver diseases among clinically classified Vietnamese patients.METHODS Four IFR5 SNPs(rs13242262 A/T, rs77416878 C/T, rs10488630 A/G, and rs2280714 T/C) were genotyped in clinically classified HBV patients [chronic hepatitis B(CHB). n = 99; liver cirrhosis(LC), n = 131; hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC), n = 149] and in 242 healthy controls by direct sequencing and Taq Man realtime PCR assays. RESULTS Comparing patients and controls, no significant association was observed for the four IFR5 variants. However, the alleles rs13242262 T and rs10488630 G contributed to an increased risk of liver cirrhosis(LC vs CHB: OR = 1.5, 95%CI: 1.1-2.3, adjusted P = 0.04; LC vs CHB: OR = 1.7, 95%CI: 1.1-2.6, adjusted P = 0.019). Haplotype IRF5*TCGT constructed from 4 SNPs was observed frequently in LC compared to CHB patients(OR = 2.1, 95%CI: 1.2-3.3, adjusted P = 0.008). Haplotype IRF5*TCAT occurred rather among CHB patients than in the other HBV patient groups(LC vs CHB: OR = 0.4, 95%CI: 0.2-0.8, adjusted P = 0.03; HCC vs CHB: OR = 0.3, 95%CI: 0.15-0.7, adjusted P = 0.003). The IRF5*TCAT haplotype was also associated with increased levels of ALT, AST and bilirubin. 6Occurrence of emerging flame retardants from e-waste recycling activities in the northern part of Vietnam显示文摘This study investigated the contamination status of 21 emerging flame retardants(FRs)in soils(n=32)and river sediments(n=8)from an e-waste recycling(EWR)site in the northern part of Vietnam.Among analyzed FRs,higher levels of decabromodiphenyl ethane(DBDPE)(NDe4200 ng/g dw),1,2-bis-(2,4,6-tribromophenoxy)ethane(BTBPE)(NDe350 ng/g dw)and Dechlorane Plus isomers(DPs)(NDe65 ng/g dw)were found in soils near EWR workshops and open burning places.The highest concentrations of DBDPE(20 ng/g dw),BTBPE(5.7 ng/g dw)and DPs(6.7 ng/g dw)were also detected in sediments collected from the middle of the EWR site.The levels decreased concomitantly with increasing distance from the EWR site.These results indicate that these FRs were released to the surrounding environment from improper recycling activities,such as manual dismantling of devices and open burning of e-wastes.Moreover,the estimated daily intakes of those FRs via soil ingestion were approximately ten times higher for children than adults.To our knowledge,this is a first comprehensive study on characterization of soil and sediment contamination by a series of emerging FRs at an EWR site in Vietnam.Masayuki Someya Go Suzuki Alin C.Ionas Nguyen Minh Tue Fuchao Xu Hidenori Matsukami Adrian Covaci Le Huu Tuyen Pham Hung Viet Shin Takahashi Shinsuke Tanabe Hidetaka Takigami 2016Emerging Contaminants2016,2,2:5

8Analysis of monomeric and oligomeric organophosphorus flame retardants in fish muscle tissues using liquid chromatographyeelectrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry:Application to Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)from an e-waste processing area in northern Vietnam显示文摘Using electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry combined with liquid chromatography(LC),a novel analytical method was developed to quantify eight monomeric organophosphorus flame retardants(m-PFRs)and three oligomeric organophosphorus flame retardants(o-PFRs)in fish muscle samples.The optimization and validation experiments indicate that the developed method can determine accurately the concentrations of analytes in fish muscle samples.The recoveries of analytes in fish muscle samples were in the range of 74-105%.The coefficients of variation of the concentrations of analytes in fish muscle samples were 0.6-8.9%.The concentrations of analytes in procedural blanks were below the limit of quantification(LOQ)values.Furthermore,the developed method was applied to the analysis of m-PFRs and o-PFRs in the muscle samples of tilapias collected from an electronic waste(ewaste)processing area in northern Vietnam.The concentrations of m-PFRs such as tris(2-chloroethyl)phosphate(TCEP),tris(2-chloroisopropyl)phosphate(TCIPP),and triphenyl phosphate(TPHP)were dominant among the investigated m-PFRs.The respective concentrations of TCEP,TCIPP,and TPHP were up to 160,300,and 230 ng g^-1 lipid weight,respectively,whereas those of o-PFRs were up to 10 ng g^-1 lipid weight.The results of this study indicate lower accumulation potential of o-PFRs compared with m-PFRs for the first time.Hidenori Matsukami Go Suzuki Nguyen Minh Tue Le Huu Tuyen Pham Hung Viet Shin Takahashi Shinsuke Tanabe Hidetaka Takigami 2016Emerging Contaminants2016,2,2:5

10灌草对胖大海种群更新幼树幼苗密度的影响显示文摘通过对越南同奈天然文化自然保护区天然阔叶和半落叶林中灌木高度和盖度以及草本盖度对胖大海幼树幼苗密度大小影响的研究,探讨灌木草本对胖大海种群更新及其可持续发展的影响。结果表明:灌木盖度对胖大海幼树幼苗更新密度有显著影响,在3个优势度等级林分随着灌木盖度的逐渐增加,胖大海幼树幼苗更新密度呈单调下降,灌木高度与胖大海幼树幼苗密度的回归关系符合模型:y=a+bx+cx^2;不同灌木盖度和高度等级与胖大海更新幼树幼苗密度呈显著相关,优势度一级和二级林分中灌木高度在300~400 cm且盖度<40%,胖大海幼树幼苗密度为2 500~3 000株/hm^2;当灌木高度<200 cm且其盖度在70%以上时,胖大海幼树幼苗密度为500~1 000株/hm^2;优势度三级林分中灌木高度300~400 cm和盖度<40%时,胖大海幼树幼苗密度为3 000~4 000株/hm2;胖大海幼树幼苗密度随着草本盖度的增加而逐渐下降,3个优势度等级林分胖大海幼树幼苗密度和草本盖度的回归模型为:y=a×exp(-bx);胖大海幼树幼苗更新密度受草本盖度和灌木盖度因素综合作用影响,回归关系符合模型:y=a+b_1x_1+b_2x_2+c_1x_1~2+c_2x_2~2+dx_1x_2,灌木盖度低等级和草本盖度<30%,幼树幼苗密度最高值为2 500~3 000株/hm^2,灌木盖度增高和草本盖度为80%以上,密度为500株/hm^2以下,灌木草本盖度增加以及灌木高度较低不利于胖大海幼树幼苗的更新。因此,胖大海天然更新培育或人工林经营中,应注意清除灌木、草本,为胖大海幼树幼苗生长提供适宜的环境,促进胖大海幼树幼苗存活与生长。Pham Van Huong 陈昌雄 张巧巧 Hoang Van Tung 范先明 Nguyen Huu Duy 2016西南林业大学学报(自然科学)2016,36,4:5
11STABILITY ANALYSIS OF A COMPUTER VIRUS PROPAGATION MODEL WITH ANTIDOTE IN VULNERABLE SYSTEM显示文摘We study a proposed model describing the propagation of computer virus in the network with antidote in vulnerable system. Mathematical analysis shows that dynamics of the spread of computer viruses is determined by the threshold R_0. If R_0 ≤ 1, the virusfree equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and if R_0 > 1, the endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. Lyapunov functional method as well as geometric approach are used for proving the global stability of equilibria. A numerical investigation is carried out to confirm the analytical results. 12Univector field method-based multi-agent navigation for pursuit problem in obstacle environments显示文摘The pursuit problem is a well-known problem in computer science. In this problem, a group of predator agents attempt to capture a prey agent in an environment with various obstacle types, partial observation, and an infinite grid-world. Predator agents are applied algorithms that use the univector field method to reach the prey agent, strategies for avoiding obstacles and strategies for cooperation between predator agents. Obstacle avoidance strategies are generalized and presented through strategies called hitting and following boundary(HFB); trapped and following shortest path(TFSP); and predicted and following shortest path(PFSP). In terms of cooperation, cooperation strategies are employed to more quickly reach and capture the prey agent. 13Ethanol extracts of Scutellaria baicalensis protect against lipopolysaccharide-induced acute liver injury in mice显示文摘Objective: To investigated the protective potential of ethanol extracts of Scutellaria baicalensis(S. baicalensis) against lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced liver injury. Methods: Dried roots of S. baicalensis were extracted with ethanol and concentrated to yield a dry residue. Mice were administered 200 mg/kg of the ethanol extracts orally once daily for one week. Animals were subsequently administered a single dose of LPS(5 mg/kg of body weight, intraperitoneal injection). Both protein and m RNA levels of cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor alpha, interleukin-1β, and interleukin-6 in liver tissues were evaluated by ELISA assay and quantitative PCR. C yclooxygenase-2, inducible nitric oxide synthase, and nuclear factor-κB protein levels in liver tissues were analyzed by western blotting. Results: Liver injury induced by LPS signifi cantly increased necrosis factor alpha, interleukin-1β, interleukin-6, cyclooxygenase-2, inducible nitric oxide synthase, and nuclear factor-κB in liver tissues. 15The influence of aggregation of latex particles on membrane fouling attachments&ultrafiltration performance in ultrafiltration of latex contaminated water and wastewater显示文摘The goal of the present study was to investigate the influence of latex particle aggregation on membrane fouling attachments and the ultrafiltration performance of simulated latex effluent using Cetyltrimethyl Ammonium Bromide(CTAB) as a cationic surfactant. Hydrophilic polysulfone and ultrafilic flat heterogeneous membranes, with molecular weight cut off(MWCO) of 60,000 and 100,000, respectively, as well as hydrophobic polyvinylidene difluoride with MWCO of 100,000, were used under a constant flow rate and cross-flow mode in ultrafiltration of latex solution. In addition, a polycarbonate flat membrane with uniform pore size of 0.05 μm was likewise used during the experiment. The effects of CTAB on the latex particle size distribution were investigated at various concentrations, different treatment times, and diverse agitation duration times. The effects of CTAB on the zeta potential of membrane surfaces and latex particles were also investigated. The data obtained indicate that the particle size distribution of treated latex effluent experienced significant shifts in the peaks toward a larger size range caused by the aggregation of particles. As a result, the mass of fouling contributing to pore blocking and the irreversible fouling were noticeably reduced. The optimum results occurred in the instance when CTAB was added at the critical micelle concentration of 0.36 g/L, for the duration of 10 min and with minimal agitation. 16Investigation and assessment of micropollutants and associated biological effects in wastewater treatment processes显示文摘Currently,the wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)attempt to achieve the shifting from general pollution parameters control to reduction of organic micropollutants discharge.However,they have not been able to satisfy the increasing ecological safety needs.In this study,the removal of micropollutants was investigated,and the ecological safety was assessed for a local WWTP.Although the total concentration of 31 micropollutants detected was reduced by 83%using the traditional biological treatment processes,the results did not reflect chemicals that had poor removal efficiencies and low concentrations.Of the five categories of micropollutants,herbicides,insecticides,and bactericides were difficult to remove,pharmaceuticals and UV filters were effectively eliminated.The specific photosynthesis inhibition effect and non-specific bioluminescence inhibition effect from wastewater were detected and evaluated using hazardous concentration where 5%of aquatic organisms are affected.The photosynthesis inhibition effect from wastewater in the WWTP was negligible,even the untreated raw wastewater.However,the bioluminescence inhibition effect from wastewater which was defined as the priority biological effect,posed potential ecological risk.To decrease non-specific biological effects,especially of macromolecular dissolved organic matter,overall pollutant reduction strategy is necessary.Meanwhile,the ozonation process was used to further decrease the bioluminescence inhibition effects from the secondary effluent;≥0.34 g O 3/g DOC of ozone dose was recommended for micropollutants elimination control and ecological safety.Xiaoyan Y.Ma Ke Dong Lei Tang Yongkun Wang Xiaochang C.Wang Huu Hao Ngo Rong Chen Na Wang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8:3
17Biomass accumulation of Panax vietnamensis in cell suspension cultures varies with addition of plant growth regulators and organic additives显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the impact of plant growth regulators including kinetin(KN),benzyl adenine and naphthalene acetic acid, yeast extract and casein hydrolyzate on biomass accumulation of Vietnamese ginseng Panax vietnamensis(P. vietnamensis) in cell suspension culture.Methods: Cell suspension cultures were established from friable calluses derived from leaves and petioles of 3-year-old in-vitro P. vietnamensis plants. The cell suspension cultures were grown in Murashige and Skoog basal media supplemented with various concentrations of KN, benzyl adenine, naphthalene acetic acid, and yeast extract and casein hydrolyzate.Results: All tested factors generated an increase in the cell biomass of P. vietnamensis in suspension culture, but the impact of each varies depended on the factor type, concentration, and incubation period. Addition of 2.0 mg/L KN resulted in the largest biomass increase after 24 d,(57.0 ± 0.9) and(3.1 ± 0.1) mg/m L fresh and dry weight, respectively,whereas addition of benzyl adenine or naphthalene acetic acid produced optimum levels of Panax cell biomass at 1.0 and 1.5 mg/L, respectively. Addition of the elicitor yeast extract led to a 1.4–2.4 fold increase in biomass of P. vietnamensis, while addition of casein hydrolyzate enhanced biomass accumulation 1.8–2.6 fold.Conclusions: The addition of each factor causes significant changes in biomass accumulation of P. vietnamensis. The largest biomass accumulation is from cultures grown in MS media containing 2.0 mg/L KN for 24 d. 20基于混合有限元解析法的永磁同步电机永磁体电涡流损耗估计显示文摘永磁同步电机永磁体受限于热约束,无法在温度较高的环境下运行,故需减少永磁体上的电涡流损耗,从而降低永磁体上的温度。针对使用有限元法对永磁体电涡流损耗估算时间较长,以及使用解析法估算时难以达到与有限元法相同的精度,采用混合有限元解析法估算永磁体上的电涡流损耗。结合电涡流的反作用,在模拟电机旋转时,无需重复划分三角形区域;使用MATLAB软件仿真模拟,将混合有限元解析法与Galerkin有限元法对比,减少三角形区域划分的个数。由此验证了永磁体上电涡流损耗符合端部效应以及集肤效应的特征,在保证精度的同时,减少了仿真的时间。冯页帆 王天真 谢卫 Huu Kien BUI Nicolas BERNARD 2019电机与控制应用2019,46,5:2
