1Detection of tumor stem cell markers in pancreatic carcinoma cell lines显示文摘BACKGROUND: Cancer of the pancreas is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in industrialized countries. In malignancy, actively proliferating cells may be effectively targeted and killed by anti-cancer therapies, but stem cells may survive and support re-growth of the tumor. Thus, new strategies for the treatment of cancer clearly will also have to target cancer stem cells. The goal of the present study was to determine whether pancreatic carcinoma cell growth may be driven by a subpopulation of cancer stem cells. Because previous data implicated ABCG2 and CD133 as stem cell markers in hematopoietic and neural stem/progenitor cells, we analyzed the expression of these two proteins in pancreatic carcinoma cell lines. METHODS: Five established pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell lines were analyzed. Total RNA was isolated and real- time RT-PCR was performed to determine the expression of ABCG2 and CD133. Surface expression of ABCG2 and CD133 was analyzed by flow cytometric analysis. RESULTS: All pancreatic carcinoma cell lines tested expressed significantly higher levels of ABCG2 than non-malignant fibroblasts or two other malignant non- pancreatic cell lines, i.e., SaOS2 osteosarcoma and SKOV3 ovarian cancer. Elevated CD133 expression was found in two out of five pancreatic carcinoma cell lines tested. Using flow cytometric analysis we confirmed surface expression of ABCG2 in all five lines. Yet, CD133 surface expression was detectable in the two cell lines, A818-6 and PancTu1, which exhibited higher mRNA levels.CONCLUSIONS: Two stem cell markers, ABCG2 and CD133 are expressed in pancreatic carcinoma cell lines. ABCG2 and/or CD133 positive cells may represent subpopulation of putative cancer stem cells also in this malignancy. 3Current status and perspectives of immune-based therapiesfor hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a frequent cancer with a high mortality.For early stage cancer there are potentially curative treatments including local ablation,resection and liver transplantation.However,for more advanced stage disease,there is no optimal treatment available.Even in the case of a'curative'treatment,recurrence or development of a new cancer in the precancerous liver is common.Thus,there is an urgent need for novel and effective(adjuvant)therapies to treat HCC and to prevent recurrence after local treatment in patients with HCC.The unique immune response in the liver favors tolerance,which remains a genuine challenge for conventional immunotherapy in patients with HCC.However,even in this'immunotolerant'organ,spontaneous immune responses against tumor antigens have been detected,although they are insufficient to achieve significant tumor death.Local ablation therapy leads to immunogenic tumor cell death by inducing the release of massive amounts of antigens,which enhances spontaneous immune response.New immune therapies such as dendritic cell vaccination and immune checkpoint inhibition are under investigation.Immunotherapy for cancer has made huge progress in the last few years and clinical trials examining the use of immunotherapy to treat hepatocellular carcinoma have shown some success.In this review,we discuss the current status of and offer some perspectives on immunotherapy for hepatocellular carcinoma,which could change disease progression in the near future.Maridi Aerts DaphnéBenteyn Hans Van Vlierberghe Kris Thielemans Hendrik Reynaert 2016World Journal of Gastroenterology2016,22,1:24

6Vitamin D deficiency in cirrhosis relates to liver dysfunction rather than aetiology显示文摘AIM: To examine the vitamin D status in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis compared to those with primary biliary cirrhosis. METHODS: Our retrospective case series comprised 89 patients with alcoholic cirrhosis and 34 patients with primary biliary cirrhosis who visited our outpatient clinic in 2005 and underwent a serum vitamin D status assessment. RESULTS: Among the patients with alcoholic cirrhosis, 85% had serum vitamin D levels below 50 nmol/L and 55% had levels below 25 nmol/L, as compared to 60% and 16% of the patients with primary biliary cirrhosis, respectively (P < 0.001). In both groups, serum vitamin D levels decreased with increasing liver disease severity, as determined by the Child-Pugh score. 7深圳市幼儿园儿童手足口病发病影响因素分析显示文摘目的对幼儿园儿童手足口病发病影响因素进行分析,为制定手足口病防制策略提供参考和借鉴。方法 2015年在深圳市18家幼儿园中开展手部卫生干预,在干预开始前对全部8 275名儿童的基本情况进行问卷调查,2015年4—10月对以上儿童的手足口病发病情况进行持续监测。结果监测期间共有122名儿童发生手足口病,其中9名儿童为二次发病。单因素分析表明,干预组儿童手足口病发病率(0.9%)明显低于对照组(2.5%)(χ~2=33.154,P<0.001),年龄越小手足口病发病率越高;居住在住宅小区的儿童手足口病发病率(1.7%)高于居住城中村者(2.5%)(χ~2=14.019,P<0.001)。多因素回归分析表明,手部卫生干预可显著降低儿童手足口病发病风险(OR=0.404,95%CI=0.272~0.601),而年龄较小、家庭平均月收入较低、居住在住宅小区、主要监护人学历较高的儿童,手足口病发病风险较高。结论手部卫生干预可显著降低幼儿园儿童的手足口病发病风险,同时儿童手足口病发病情况还受年龄、家庭收入、居住地、监护人学历等多种因素影响。侯万里 赵志广 符霞 周彦 张振 程锦泉 Vicki Erasmus Jan Hendrik Richardus 2017中国公共卫生2017,33,11:14
8光照强度和波长对底栖藻类种群生长的影响(Ⅰ)——光合色素的变化显示文摘在自然水体中首先让底栖藻类在透明人造丝膜附着装置上定居着生5周,然后移至实验室培养.测定初始的叶绿素a和脱镁叶绿素后,对底栖藻类进行3个不同光照强度的全光照处理(29.1,11.0和5.5W/m2)和3种不同光照波长的处理(红光、蓝光和绿光).处理期间温度和水流保持一致.在所有光照处理下底栖藻类体内叶绿素a的含量表现出稳定增长的趋势,在第二周末达到最高值,在第三周开始急剧下降.研究发现,光照强度与底栖藻类的生长呈负相关,这与高光照强度对藻类细胞内光合色素的破坏有关.在不同光照强度的全色光下,叶绿素a的含量的变化是由于所研究的底栖藻类对光照强度的反应存在着“小球藻型”“小环藻型”和过渡类型所致.强光引发的藻类细胞的“失绿”亦是由于叶绿素a含量减少的原因.由于红光能增加光合作用的效率,促进藻类细胞叶绿素a的合成等生物合成过程,在红光的处理下藻类细胞内叶绿素a的含量达到最大值.而在绿光下底栖藻类种群的生长速度居中.庄树宏 Hendrik Sven 1999烟台大学学报(自然科学与工程版)1999,12,2:12
9Effects of resveratrol in experimental and clinical non-alcoholic fatty liver disease显示文摘The prevalence of obesity and related conditions like non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) is increasing worldwide and therapeutic options are limited.Alternative treatment options are therefore intensively sought after.An interesting candidate is the natural polyphenol resveratrol(RSV) that activates adenosinmonophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK) and silent information regulation-2 homolog 1(SIRT1).In addition,RSV has known anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.Here,we review the current evidence for RSVmediated effects on NAFLD and address the different aspects of NAFLD and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH) pathogenesis with respect to free fatty acid(FFA) flux from adipose tissue,hepatic de novo lipogenesis,inadequate FFA β-oxidation and additional intra- and extrahepatic inflammatory and oxidant hits.We review the in vivo evidence from animal studies and clinical trials.The abundance of animal studies reports a decrease in hepatic triglyceride accumulation,liver weight and a general improvement in histological fatty liver changes,along with a reduction in circulating insulin,glucose and lipid levels.Some studies document AMPK or SIRT1 activation,and modulation of relevant markers of hepatic lipogenesis,inflammation and oxidation status.However,AMPK/SIRT1-independent actions are also likely.Clinical trials are scarce and have primarily been performed with a focus on overweight/obese participants without a focus on NAFLD/NASH and histological liver changes.Future clinical studies with appropriate design are needed to clarify the true impact of RSV treatment in NAFLD/NASH patients.Sara Heebll Karen Louise Thomsen Steen B Pedersen Hendrik Vilstrup Jacob George Henning Grnbk 2014World Journal of Hepatology2014,6,4:11

11血栓性血小板减少性紫癜患者vWF裂解蛋白酶抗原和活性的检测及意义显示文摘目的研究血管性血友病因子裂解蛋白酶(ADAMTS13)抗原含量和活性在血栓性血小板减少性紫癜(TTP)患者及遗传性 TTP 家族突变携带者中变化的情况。方法用残余胶原结合实验(RCBA)检测13例 TTP 患者共28份血浆标本[含血浆置换(PE)前后]及10例携带者的 ADAMTS13活性;用新近建立的三抗体夹心酶联免疫反应法检测标本的 ADAMTS13抗原含量。结果正常对照组 ADAMTS13含量为(600.93±145.36)mU/ml(设白种人混合血浆的 ADAMTS13抗原含量为1000mU/ml),活性为(74.79±11.81)%。遗传性 TTP 患者 ADAMTS13抗原含量和活性治疗前和发病间期均明显减低,PE 后恢复;其家族中携带者 ADAMTS13抗原含量为(331.40±109.85)mU/ml,活性为(66.79±12.82)%(与对照组比较,P 值分别<0.01和>0.05);原发性 TTP 患者 PE 前 ADAMTS13抗原含量为(98.7±82.08)mU/ml,活性为(22.23±19.07)%(与对照组比较,P 值均<0.01);PE 后ADAMTS13 抗原含量为(449.4±232.33)mU/ml,活性为(60.92±22.33)%(与对照组比较,P 值分别<0.01和>0.05);1例继发性 TTP 患者 PE 后 ADAMTS13抗原含量远高于正常,活性仅为6.00%结论治疗前的 TTP 患者 ADAMTS13抗原含量和活性均明显减低。大多数患者两指标变化趋势一致,也有个别患者两指标变化趋势相反,前者可能因为遗传因素或体内免疫系统的廓清作用,后者可能因为抗 ADAMTS13抗体仅抑制了 ADAMTS13的活性而未影响其抗原的含量或其他未知原因所致。刘芳 BF Hendrik 董宁征 白霞 V Karen D Hans 阮长耿 2006中华血液学杂志2006,27,3:10
12Reaction kinetics modeling for lithium and cobalt recovery from spent lithium-ion batteries using acetic acid显示文摘Lithium and cobalt recovery from spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) is a major focus because of their increased production and usage. The conventional method for recycling spent LIBs using inorganic acids produces harmful byproducts. In this work, the leaching agent was substituted with a less expensive and more environmentally friendly alternative—acetic acid—and a mathematical model was developed to describe the kinetics of the recovery process. The variables used were the pH value, temperature, H_2O_2 concentration, and the solid-to-liquid(S/L) ratio. The mathematical model used was the shrinking core model, which was modified to accommodate an equilibrium reaction. The experimental results show that the rate of recovery of Li and Co over time was only affected by temperature. The leaching behaviors of Li and Co were found to oppose each other. An increase in temperature resulted in increased recovery of Li but decreased recovery of Co because of the product-favoring endothermic reaction of Li and the reactant-favoring exothermic reaction of Co. The product of Li has a lower entropy value than the reactant as a free-moving ion, whereas the product of Co leaching has a higher entropy value as a stiff crystal complex. 13Role of mucosal dendritic cells in inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘The gastrointestinal innate and adaptive immune system continuously faces the challenge of potent stimuli from the commensal microflora and food constituents. These local immune responses require a tight control, the outcome of which is in most cases the induction of tolerance. Local T cell immunity is an important compartment of the specif ic intestinal immune system. T cell reactivity is programmed during the initial stage of its activation by professional presenting cells. Mucosal dendritic cells (DCs) are assumed to play key roles in regulating immune responses in the antigen-rich gastrointestinal environment. Mucosal DCs are a heterogeneous population that can either initiate (innate and adaptive) immune responses, or control intestinal inflammation and maintain tolerance. Defects in this regulation are supposed to lead to the two major forms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC). 16Silencing NOA1 Elevates Herbivory-Induced Jasmonic Acid Accumulation and Compromises Most of the Carbon-Based Defense Metabolites in Nicotiana attenuata显示文摘Nitric oxide-associated protein 1 (NOA1) is involved in various abiotic stress responses and is required for plant resistance to pathogen infections. However, the role of NOA1 in plant-herbivore interactions has not been explored. We created NOA1-silenced Nicotiana attenuata plants (irNaNOA1). Compared with wild-type (WT) plants, irNaNOA1 plants had highly decreased photosynthesis rates. We further examined various traits important for plant defense against its specialist herbivore Manduca sexta by treating WT and irNaNOA1 plants with mechanical wounding and M. sexta oral secretions (OS). NOA1-silenced plants showed elevated levels of herbivory-induced jasmonic acid (JA), but decreased JA-isoleucine conjugate (JA-Ile) levels. The decreased JA-Ile levels did not result from compromised JAR (jasmonic acid resistant) activity in irNOA1 plants. Moreover, nitrogen-rich defensive compounds, nicotine and trypsin proteinase inhibitors, did not differ between WT and irNaNOA1 plants. In contrast, concentrations of most carbon-based defensive compounds were lower in these plants than in WT plants, although the levels of chlorogenic acid were not changed. Therefore, silencing NOA1 alters the allocation of carbon resources within the phenylpropanoid pathway. These data suggest the involvement of NOA1 in N. attenuata's defense against M. sexta attack, and highlight its role in photosynthesis, and biosynthesis of jasmonates and secondary metabolites.Hendrik Wünsche Ian T. 17Early Jurassic basal sauropodomorpha dominated tracks from Guizhou, China: Morphology, ethology, and paleoenvironment显示文摘The newly discovered large(350 m^2) Yantan dinosaur tracksite, in the Lower Jurassic Ziliujing Formation of Guizhou Province, China, reveals at least 250 footprints of which ~97 can be resolved into trackways of sauropodomorphs. All the trackways are sub parallel likely indicating gregarious behavior. One theropod track(cf. Grallator) was recorded. The sauropodomorph tracks predominantly represent quadrupedal progression(Morphotype A), and footprint morphology is similar to the ichnospecies Liujianpusshunan, characterized by outward pes rotation. Three trackways indicate bipedal progression, and two of these(Morphotype B) indicate inward pes rotation, accompanied by elongate pes digit scratch marks. For the latter phenomenon three possible scenarios are discussed:(1) significant rotation changes accompanying changes in gait,(2) swimming behavior,(3) formation of undertracks.Sedimentological evidence indicates the tracks were made on a linguloid rippled, muddy, immature sandstone substrate characterized by significant differences in substrate consistency across the trackbearing surface. Microbially induced sedimentary structures(MISS) characterized by distinctive wrinkle marks indicate a stressed, probably semi-arid, paleoenvironment that was not conducive to habitation by invertebrate organisms. This is consistent with other evidence that Lower Jurassic sauropodomorph tracks are often associated with semi-arid paleoenvironments.Lida Xing Martin G. 19新疆吐鲁番盆地中侏罗统张北足迹(Changpeipus,兽脚类)的重新研究(英文)显示文摘详细描述了中国西北部新疆吐鲁番市鄯善足迹点、中侏罗统三间房组的兽脚类足迹组合。连同新发现在内,共描述了143个足迹,并阐明其不同的保存状况与额外形态变化。在足迹分类学上,这批足迹被归入石炭张北足迹(Changpeipus carbonicus),该足迹种常见于中国其他侏罗纪足迹点。前人的研究认为此地有两种不同的足迹形态,但研究表明这是由软且湿滑的基底造成的额外形态变化。足迹的结构特征亦不支持此地存在不同的足迹种。此外,对比了其他化石点类似的足迹,认为张北足迹为单型属,即模式种石炭张北足迹。鄯善足迹点的足迹长度从12.2 cm(几个孤立的样本)到47 cm,足迹应由不同年龄段的、小型至中型的同类造迹者或不同类的造迹者所留。奇异的足迹状态包括了一个滑动造成的足迹,足迹由三道平行条带构成,条带应为第II,III和IV趾所留。一个与其关联的'正常'足迹可能与该滑动足迹构成一个单步。与足迹共生的、丰富的无脊椎动物遗迹化石支持该化石点的沉积环境是一个逐步扩大和深化的湖泊。前人的研究将此地的无脊椎动物遗迹化石归入洛克迹(Lockeia),新的研究将其归入福尔斯迹(Fuersichnus),这类遗迹被归于泥食性昆虫幼虫或其他无脊椎动物所留。福尔斯迹指示的环境特征是在泥泞的河漫滩或湖泊边缘居住与/或觅食。邢立达 Hendrik KLEIN Martin G. 20Luminescence and energy transfer of color-tunable Lu2MgAl4SiO12:Eu^2+,Ce^3+,Mn^2+ phosphors显示文摘Energy transfer among the co-doped activators is an efficient route to achieve color-tunable emission in inorganic phosphors.Herein,photoluminescence tuning from blue to cyan has been achieved in the Lu2MgAl4 SiO12;Eu^2+,Ce^3+phosphors by varying the Ce^3+concentration with a fixed Eu^2+content.With the further introduction of a Mn^2+-Si^4+couple into the host lattice,the emission color can be tuned to red through the energy transfer of Eu^2+and Mn^2+.The luminescence properties and the energy transfer mechanism were studied in detail.The energy transfer from Eu^2+to Ce^3+is certified as a dipolequadrupole interaction with the energy transfer efficiency of 41.4%and Eu^2+to Mn^2+belongs to a dipole-dipole interaction with the energy transfer efficiency of 94.3%.The results imply that this singlephased Lu2MgAl4 SiO12:Eu^2+,Ce^3+,Mn^2+phosphor has a potential prospect for application in near-UV chip pumped white light emitting diodes.Zhiqiang Ming Jing Zhao Hendrik C.Swart Zhiguo Xia 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,5:5
