1不同糖耐量个体血浆内脂素水平的变化显示文摘目的探讨不同糖耐量人群血浆内脂素(visfatin)水平变化及其与体重指数(BMI)、腰臀比(WHR)、血糖、血浆胰岛素水平等的关系。方法采用酶联免疫法测定了2型糖尿病(DM)、糖耐量受损(IGT)患者和正常健康人空腹和糖负荷后2h血浆内脂素水平,并分析血浆内脂素与BMI、WHR、胰岛素抵抗指数(HOMA-IR)、血脂、血糖、血浆胰岛素和游离脂肪酸(FFA)水平等的关系。结果(1)2型DM患者空腹和糖负荷后2h血浆内脂素水平明显低于正常对照组[(11.63±7.48)μg/L vs(16.82±6.06)μg/L和(12.02±6.86)μg/L vs(16.26±7.78)μg/L,均P<0.05],IGT组内脂素水平介于2型DM和对照组之间;肥胖组血浆内脂素水平较非肥胖组有升高趋势;(2)相关性研究显示,血浆内脂素水平与WHR呈正相关(r=0.42,P<0.01),与糖负荷后2h血糖(2hPG)和HbA_(IC)呈明显负相关(r=-0.33,P<0.01和r=~0.25,JP<0.05);(3)多元线性逐步回归分析表明WHR、HbA_(IC)空腹血糖、2hPG、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇分别是影响血浆内脂素水平的独立相关因素。结论血浆内脂素水平与糖代谢状态有关,并可能在肥胖和2型糖尿病的发生和发展中具有一定的作用。杨媚 杨刚毅 李伶 李清明 阮华玲 阳皓 李钶 孙勤 唐毅 Gunther Boden 2006中华内分泌代谢杂志2006,22,3:76

3China's Exchange Rate and Financial Repression:The Conflicted Emergence of the RMB as an International Currency显示文摘Instability in the world dollar standard,as most recently manifested in the US Federal Reserve's near-zero interest rate policy,has caused consternation in emerging markets with naturally higher interest rates.China has been provoked into speeding RMB 'internationalization ';that is,openingup domestic financial markets to reduce its dependence on the US dollar for invoicing trade and making international payments.However,despite rapid percentage growth in offshore financial markets in RMB,the Chinese authorities are essentially trapped into maintaining exchange controls(reinforced by financial repression in domestic interest rates) to avoid an avalanche of foreign capital inflows that would threaten inflation and asset price bubbles by driving nominal interest rates on RMB assets down further.Because a floating(appreciating) exchange rate could attract even more hot money inflows,the People's Bank of China should focus on keeping the yuan/dollar rate stable so as to encourage naturally high wage increases to help balance China 's international competitiveness.However,further internationalization of the RMB,as with the proposed Shanghai pilot free trade zone,is best deferred until world interest rates rise to more normal levels.Ronald McKinnon Gunther Schnabl 2014China & World Economy2014,22,3:17

8Real-time high-resolution mid-infrared optical coherence tomography显示文摘The potential for improving the penetration depth of optical coherence tomography systems by using light sources with longer wavelengths has been known since the inception of the technique in the early 1990s.Nevertheless,the development of mid-infrared optical coherence tomography has long been challenged by the maturity and fidelity of optical components in this spectral region,resulting in slow acquisition,low sensitivity,and poor axial resolution.In this work,a mid-infrared spectral-domain optical coherence tomography system operating at a central wavelength of 4μm and an axial resolution of 8.6μm is demonstrated.The system produces two-dimensional cross-sectional images in real time enabled by a high-brightness 0.9-to 4.7-μm mid-infrared supercontinuum source with a pulse repetition rate of 1 MHz for illumination and broadband upconversion of more than 1-μm bandwidth from 3.58–4.63μm to 820–865 nm,where a standard 800-nm spectrometer can be used for fast detection.The images produced by the mid-infrared system are compared with those delivered by a state-of-the-art ultra-high-resolution near-infrared optical coherence tomography system operating at 1.3μm,and the potential applications and samples suited for this technology are discussed.In doing so,the first practical mid-infrared optical coherence tomography system is demonstrated,with immediate applications in real-time non-destructive testing for the inspection of defects and thickness measurements in samples that exhibit strong scattering at shorter wavelengths.Niels M.Israelsen Christian R.Petersen Ajanta Barh Deepak Jain Mikkel Jensen Gunther Hannesschlager Peter Tidemand-Lichtenberg Christian Pedersen Adrian Podoleanu Ole Bang 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:7
9Silicon and silicon nitride photonic circuits for spectroscopic sensing on-a-chip [Invited]显示文摘There is a rapidly growing demand to use silicon and silicon nitride(Si3N4) integrated photonics for sensing applications, ranging from refractive index to spectroscopic sensing. By making use of advanced CMOS technology,complex miniaturized circuits can be easily realized on a large scale and at a low cost covering visible to mid-IR wavelengths. In this paper we present our recent work on the development of silicon and Si3N4-based photonic integrated circuits for various spectroscopic sensing applications. We report our findings on waveguide-based absorption, and Raman and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy. 11China’s financial conundrum and global imbalances显示文摘China’s financial conundrum arises from two sources: (1) its large trade (saving) surplus results in a currency mismatch because it is an immature creditor that cannot lend in its own currency. Instead foreign currency claims (largely dollars) build up within domestic financial institutions. And (2) economists – both American and Chinese – mistakenly attribute the surpluses to an undervalued renminbi. To placate the United States, the result is a gradual appreciation of the renminbi against the dollar of 6% or more per year. This predictable appreciation since 2004, and the fall in US interest rates since mid 2007, not only attracts hot money inflows but inhibits private capital outflows from financing China’s huge trade surplus. This one-way bet in the foreign exchange markets can no longer be offset by relatively low interest rates in China compared to the United States, as had been the case in 2005-06. Thus, the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) now must intervene heavily to prevent the renminbi from ratcheting upwards – and so becomes the country’s sole international financial intermediary. Despite massive efforts by the PBOC to sterilize the monetary consequences of the reserve buildup, inflation in China is increasing, with excess liquidity that spills over into the world economy. China has been transformed from a deflationary force on American and European price levels into an inflationary one. Because of the currency mismatch, floating the RMB is neither feasible nor desirable – and a higher RMB would not reduce China’s trade surplus. Instead, monetary control and normal private-sector finance for the trade surplus require a return to a credibly fixed nominal yuan/dollar rate similar to that which existed between 1995 and 2004. But for any newly reset yuan/dollar rate to be credible as a monetary anchor, foreign 'China bashing' to get the RMB up must end. Currency stabilization would allow the PBOC to regain monetary control and quash inflation. Only then can the Chinese government take decisive steps to reduce the trade (saving) surplus by tax cuts, increased social expenditures, and higher dividend payouts. 12Assessing the inter-annual variability of separation distances around odour sources to protect the residents from odour annoyance显示文摘In recent years, there has been a growing concern about potential impacts on public health and wellbeing due to exposure to environmental odour. Separation distances between odour-emitting sources and residential areas can be calculated using dispersion models, as a means of protecting the neighbourhood from odour annoyance. This study investigates the suitability of using one single year of meteorological input data to calculate reliable direction-dependent separation distances. Accordingly, we assessed and quantified the inter-annual variability of separation distances at two sites with different meteorological conditions, one in Brazil and the other in Austria. A 5-year dataset of hourly meteorological observations was used for each site. Two odour impact criteria set in current regulations were selected to explore their effect on the separation distances. The coefficient of variation was used as a statistical measure to characterise the amount of annual variation. Overall,for all scenarios, the separation distances had a low degree of inter-annual variability(mean coefficient of variation values from 8% to 21%). Reasonable agreements from year to year were therefore observed at the two sites under investigation, showing that one year of meteorological data is a good compromise to achieve reliable accuracy. 19GOBO projection for 3D measurements at highest frame rates: a performance analysis显示文摘Aperiodic sinusoidal patterns that are cast by a GOBO(GOes Before Optics)projector are a powerful tool for optically measuring the surface topography of moving or deforming objects with very high speed and accuracy.We optimised the first experimental setup that we were able to measure inflating car airbags at frame rates of more than 50 kHz while achieving a 3D point standard deviation of~500μm.Here,we theoretically investigate the method of GOBO projection of aperiodic sinusoidal fringes.In a simulation-based performance analysis,we examine the parameters that influence the accuracy of the measurement result and identify an optimal pattern design that yields the highest measurement accuracy.We compare the results with those that were obtained via GOBO projection of phase-shifted sinusoidal fringes.Finally,we experimentally verify the theoretical findings.We show that the proposed technique has several advantages over conventional fringe projection techniques,as the easy-to-build and cost-effective GOBO projector can provide a high radiant flux,allows high frame rates,and can be used over a wide spectral range.Stefan Heist Patrick Dietrich Martin Landmann Peter Kühmstedt Gunther Notni Andreas Tünnermann 2018Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1:4
20小鼠扩展胰岛素钳夹术中糖代谢的变化显示文摘目的建立小鼠扩展胰岛素钳夹技术并观察其体内糖代谢的变化。方法分别采用[3-3H]葡萄糖和2-脱氧-3H葡萄糖(2-DOG)作为示踪剂,建立自由状态下小鼠正糖-高胰岛素钳夹技术,并观察其体内糖代谢的动态改变。结果在钳夹稳定状态,血糖稳定在基础水平(7.0±1.3mmol/L),在高血浆胰岛素水平下,血浆FFA明显抑制(从1.45±0.15到0.45±0.08mmol/L,P<0.01)。葡萄糖输注率为46.7±4.7mg·kg-1.min-1,葡萄糖清除率为11.2±0.6mg·kg-1.min-1,肝糖产生被完全抑制,骨骼肌葡萄糖摄取率为20.9±2.5μmol.100g-1.min-1,而TG和TC浓度较钳夹前明显降低(P均<0.01)。平均血糖变异系数为5.19%,平均GIR变异系数为9%。结论采用上述示踪剂建立的小鼠扩展胰岛素钳夹技术,能准确评价小鼠机体胰岛素敏感性,同时能动态反映体内糖代谢变化。刘建雷 孙勤 杨刚毅 李伶 李钶 欧阳凌云 陈渝 刘华 唐毅 Gunther Boden 2008中国糖尿病杂志2008,16,6:3
