1好氧+人工湿地组合工艺处理屠宰废水设计与运行显示文摘屠宰废水属较高浓度的有机废水,由于农村地区受经济及技术水平制约,传统屠宰废水处理工艺运行、维护、管理较为复杂,处理出水难以稳定达标排放。以湖北省-德国萨克森州环保技术合作契机,利用人工湿地技术,对蕲春县某小型机械化屠宰厂污水处理站进行好氧+人工湿地组合工艺的改造,探索并优化小型屠宰废水处理新工艺,使其便于运行、维护及管理,处理出水实现稳定达标排放。改造后调试运行期间组合工艺80%保证率下好氧单元COD去除率达到85.6%,氨氮去除率达到42%;人工湿地单元COD去除率达到54%,氨氮去除率达到90.3%,并对粪大肠杆菌有一定去除能力。该组合工艺操作及维护管理较简单,适宜在农村地区小型屠宰厂废水处理方面推广应用。余江 王琪 沈晓鲤 朱重宁 Andre Gerth Andreas Kuhne 2014环境科学与技术2014,37,5:9
2Influence of tacrolimus metabolism rate on renal function after solid organ transplantation显示文摘The calcineurin inhibitor(CNI) tacrolimus(TAC) is an integral part of the immunosuppressive regimen after solid organ transplantation. Although TAC is very effective in prevention of acute rejection episodes, its highly variable pharmacokinetic and narrow therapeutic window require frequent monitoring of drug levels and dose adjustments. TAC can cause CNI nephrotoxicity even at low blood trough levels(4-6 ng/m L). Thus, other factors besides the TAC trough level might contribute to CNI-related kidney injury. Unfortunately, TAC pharmacokinetic is determined by a whole bunch of parameters. However, for daily clinical routine a simple application strategy is needed. To address this problem, we and others have evaluated a simple calculation method in which the TAC blood trough concentration(C) is divided by the daily dose(D). Fast TAC metabolism(C/D ratio < 1.05) was identified as a potential risk factor for an inferior kidney function after transplantation. In this regard, we recently showed a strong association between fast TAC metabolism and CNI nephrotoxicity as well as BKV infection. 3Single-operator cholangioscopy for biliary complications in liver transplant recipients显示文摘AIM To evaluate cholangioscopy in addition to endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) for management of biliary complications after liver transplantation(LT).METHODS Twenty-six LT recipients with duct-to-duct biliary reconstruction who underwent ERCP for suspected biliary complications between April and December2016 at the university hospital of Muenster were consecutively enrolled in this observational study. After evaluating bile ducts using fluoroscopy, cholangioscopy using a modern digital single-operator cholangioscopy s y s t e m(S py G la s s D S ?) wa s pe r fo r me d dur ing the same procedure with patients under conscious sedation. All patients received peri-interventional antibiotic prophylaxis and bile was collected during the intervention for microbial analysis and for antibiotic susceptibility testing.RESULTS Thirty-three biliary complications were found in a total of 22 patients, whereas four patients showed normal bile ducts. Anastomotic strictures were evident in 14(53.8%) patients, non-anastomotic strictures in seven(26.9%), biliary cast in three(11.5%), and stones in six(23.1%). A benefit of cholangioscopy was seen in 12(46.2%) patients. In four of them, cholangioscopy was crucial for selective guidewire placement prior to planned intervention. In six patients, biliary cast and/or stones failed to be diagnosed by ERCP and were only detectable through cholangioscopy. In one case, a bile duct ulcer due to fungal infection was diagnosed by cholangioscopy. In another case, signs of bile duct inflammation caused by acute cholangitis were evident. One patient developed post-interventional cholangitis. No further procedure-related complications occurred. Thirty-seven isolates were found in bile. Sixteen of these were gram-positive(43.2%), 12(32.4%) were gram-negative bacteria, and Candida species accounted for 24.3% of all isolated microorganisms. 4Phase Diversity Electro-optic Sampling:A new approach to single-shot terahertz waveform recording显示文摘Recording electric field evolution in single-shot with THz bandwidth is needed in science including spectroscopy,plasmas,biology,chemistry,Free-Electron Lasers,accelerators,and material inspection.However,the potential application range depends on the possibility to achieve sub-picosecond resolution over a long time window,which is a largely open problem for single-shot techniques.To solve this problem,we present a new conceptual approach for the so-called spectral decoding technique,where a chirped laser pulse interacts with a THz signal in a Pockels crystal,and is analyzed using a grating optical spectrum analyzer.By borrowing mathematical concepts from photonic time stretch theory and radio-frequency communication,we deduce a novel dual-output electro-optic sampling system,for which the input THz signal can be numerically retrieved—with unprecedented resolution—using the so-called phase diversity technique.We show numerically and experimentally that this approach enables the recording of THz waveforms in single-shot over much longer durations and/or higher bandwidth than previous spectral decoding techniques.We present and test the proposed DEOS(Diversity Electro-Optic Sampling)design for recording 1.5 THz bandwidth THz pulses,over 20 ps duration,in single-shot.Then we demonstrate the potential of DEOS in accelerator physics by recording,in two successive shots,the shape of 200 fs RMS relativistic electron bunches at European X-FEL,over 10 ps recording windows.The designs presented here can be used directly for accelerator diagnostics,characterization of THz sources,and single-shot Time-Domain Spectroscopy.Eléonore Roussel Christophe Szwaj Clément Evain Bernd Steffen Christopher Gerth Bahram Jalali Serge Bielawski 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,1:3
5Clinical outcomes for Conduits and Scaffolds in peripheral nerve repair显示文摘The gold standard of peripheral nerve repair is nerve autograft when tensionless repair is not possible. Use of nerve autograft has several shortcomings, however.These include limited availability of donor tissue,sacrifice of a functional nerve, and possible neuroma formation. In order to address these deficiencies,researchers have developed a variety of biomaterials available for repair of peripheral nerve gaps. We review the clinical studies published in the English literature detailing outcomes and reconstructive options.Regardless of the material used or the type of nerve repaired, outcomes are generally similar to nerve autograft in gaps less than 3 cm. 6Semiautomated 3D Root Segmentation and Evaluation Based on X-Ray CT Imagery显示文摘Background.Computed X-ray tomography(CTX)is a high-end nondestructive approach for the visual assessment of root architecture in soil.Nevertheless,in order to evaluate high-resolution CTX data of root architectures,manual segmentation of the depicted root systems from large-scale volume data is currently necessary,which is both time consuming and error prone.The duration of such a segmentation is of importance,especially for time-resolved growth analysis,where several instances of a plant need to be segmented and evaluated.Specifically,in our application,the contrast between soil and root data varies due to different growth stages and watering situations at the time of scanning.Additionally,the root system itself is expanding in length and in the diameter of individual roots.Objective.For semiautomated and robust root system segmentation from CTX data,we propose the RootForce approach,which is an extension of Frangi’s“multi-scale vesselness”method and integrates a 3D local variance.It allows a precise delineation of roots with diameters down to severalμm in pots with varying diameters.Additionally,RootForce is not limited to the segmentation of small below-ground organs,but is also able to handle storage roots with a diameter larger than 40 voxels.Results.Using CTX volume data of full-grown bean plants as well as time-resolved(3D+time)growth studies of cassava plants,RootForce produces similar(and much faster)results compared to manual segmentation of the regarded root architectures.Furthermore,RootForce enables the user to obtain traits not possible to be calculated before,such as total root volume(Vroot),total root length(Lroot),root volume over depth,root growth angles(θmin,θmean,andθmax),root surrounding soil density Dsoil,or form fraction F.Discussion.The proposed RootForce tool can provide a higher efficiency for the semiautomatic high-throughput assessment of the root architectures of different types of plants from large-scale CTX.Furthermore,for all datasets within a growth experiment,only a single set of parameters is needed.Thus,the proposed tool can be used for a wide range of growth experiments in the field of plant phenotyping.Stefan Gerth Joelle Claußen Anja Eggert Norbert Wörlein Michael Waininger Thomas Wittenberg Norman Uhlmann 2021Plant Phenomics2021,3,1:2
