2CATHODIC PROCESS AND WEAR RESISTANCE OF ELECTRO-DEPOSITED RE-Ni-W-P-SiC COMPOSITE COATING显示文摘Cathodic deposition current density of the composite coatings increases when SiC par-ticles and rare earth (RE) were added in the bath, which is profitable for Ni- W-P alloyto deposit in the cathod, forming Ni-W-P-SiC and RE-Ni-W-P-SiC composite coat-ings. On the contrary, the addition of PTFE in the bath decreases cathodic depositioncurrent density of the coatings. The current density increases a little when the amountof RE is 7-9g/l; however, the current density increases greatly when the amount ofRE is increased to 11-13g/l. But if the amount of RE is raised further, the currentdensity decreases. 3ANALYSIS ON THE BEHAVIOR OF PRECIPITATES IN ULTRA-THIN HOT STRIP OF PLAIN LOW CARBON STEEL PRODUCED BY COMPACT STRIP PRODUCTION显示文摘This paper investigated the mechanism of precipitation and its influence upon prop-erties of ultra-thin hot strips of low carbon steel produced by CSP techniques usingexperiment and thermodynamics theory. The experimental results show that thereare lots of fine and dispersive precipitates in microstructures. By analysis, most ofaluminum nitrides are in grains, while coexisted precipitates of MnS are along grainboundaries. Coexisted precipitates compose cation-vacancy type oxides such as Al2O3in the core, while MnS is at the fringe of surface. The precipitation behavior of AlNand MnS in the hot strip is studied by thermodynamic calculation. 6ON THE TENSILE MECHANICAL PROPERTY OF Si-Mn TRIP STEELS AT HIGH STRAIN RATE显示文摘Tensile mechanical properties of 1.6Si-1.58Mn-0.195C TRIP (transformation-induced plasticity) steels under high strain rate and effects of DP (dual-phase) treatments were studied and compared to the quasi-static tensile behavior. The results show that the increasing of strain rate leads to increasing in their strengths and decreasing in the uniform elongation remarkably. Because the stable retained austenite in TRIP steel can transform to martensite during tensile testing and the material exhibits excellent characteristic of transformation induced plasticity, the plastic deformation behavior is evidently improved and the combination of strength and elongation is superior to that of dual-phase steel, although its strength is smaller than that of DP steel. However, DP treated steel shown lower elongation under dynamic tension in spite of higher strength. A model was proposed to explain the excellent elongation rate of TRIP steel compared with DP steel on the basis of SEM analysis and the strength of the components in microstructure.X.C. Wei, L. 7Study on Steel-Mushy Al-20Sn Alloy Bonding显示文摘Steel-mushy Al-20Sn alloy bonding was studied for the first time. The relationship model about preheat temperature of steel plate, solid fraction of Al-20Sn alloy mushy, rolling speed and interfacial shear strength of bonding plate could be established by artificial neural networks perfectly. This model could be optimized with a genetic algorithm. 8Strain Softening and Hardening Behavior in AZ61 Magnesium Alloy显示文摘The deformation behavior of AZ61 Mg alloy during hot deformation has been investigated in wide temperature and strain rate range by a Gleeble simulator. Specimens are deformed in compression in the temperature range of 523~673 K and at strain rates of 0.001~1 s-1. It is found that the flow curves exhibit a peak and then decrease towards steady-state of classical DRX, which decrease with rising temperature and decreasing strain rate. The deformation behavior of the specimens can be attributed to the occurrence of strain hardening and softening. As stress decreases, the strain hardening rate declines at a fast rate when temperature rises or strain rate decreases. The shapes of θ-σ curves indicate some important features such as subgrain formation, the critical stress, the peak stress and steady stress. 9Microstructure and shear strength of the brazed joint of Ti(C,N)-based cermet to steel显示文摘Firm joins were obtained between Ti(C,N)-based cermet and steel with Ag-Cu-Zn-Ni filler metal by vacuum brazing. The effects of technological parameters such as brazing temperature, holding time, and filler thickness on the shear strength of the joints were investigated. The microstructure of welded area and the reaction products of the filler metal were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), metallographic microscope (OM), energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDS), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The brazing temperature of 870°C, holding time of 15 min, and filler thickness of 0.4 mm are a set of optimum technological parameters, under which the maximum shear strength of the joints, 176.5 MPa, is achieved. The results of microstructure show that the wettability of the filler metal on Ti(C,N)-based cermet and steel is well. 12Modeling and simulation of residual stresses during glass bulb pressing process显示文摘The residual stresses accumulated in the forming process have great effects on the product quality of the glass bulb. Based on the characteristics analysis of glass bulb forming, a mathematical model has been established for calculating residual stresses of glass pressing process. The material is assumed as thermorheologi-cally simple thermoviscoelastic material, and the flow-induced stress is neglected. The consequences of equilibrium and compatibility equations are discussed in detail, and the boundary conditions are specified for various stages of the forming process. The numerical solution is based on the theory of thin layers, combined with finite difference method in the time and layer difference in the thickness di-rection. 13Investigation of the Microstructure of Rolled Semi-Solid Steel显示文摘In this paper, spring steel-60Si2Mn and stainless steel-1Cr18Ni9Ti were rolled one pass in the semi-solid state. The microstructural evolution during rolling of the steels with different solid fraction was investigated. The experimental results showed that the manner of liquid and solid phases flowing and deforming was different. During rolling, most of solid phases remained in the center of the rolled specimens, while liquid phase flowed to the edge, which resulted in the macrosegregation of liquid and solid phases. 14MODELING OF FERRITE GRAIN GROWTH OF LOW CARBON STEELS DURING HOT ROLLING显示文摘For most commercial steels the prediction of the final properties depends on accurately calculating the room temperature ferrite grain size. A grain growth model is proposed for low carbon steels Q235B during hot rolling. By using this model, the initial ferrite grain size after continuous cooling and ferrite grain growing in coiling procedure can be predicted. Finally, in-plant trials were performed in the hot strip mill of Ansteel. The calculated final ferrite grain sizes are in good agreement with the experimental ones. 15Effects of the Composition of Electrodeposited Fe-Ni-P Alloy on the Thermostability and Magnetic Properties显示文摘The magnetic properties, structure defects of electrodeposited Fe-Ni-P alloys with various compositions and the thermostability at amorphous state have been studied by DSC, positron annihilation and electronic integrating instrument methods. The results show that the thermostability of amorphous Fe-Ni-P alloys increases with Fe content. Emergence and recrystallization of stable phases defer as the P content of the coating increases. The minimum Hc, Br and Ph occur at 9.4 P (wt pct) content. 16INFLUENCE OF COLD ROLLING TECHNOLOGY ON TEXTURE EVOLUTION OF IF STEEL显示文摘Two kinds of cold rolling experiments, single cold rolling and double cold rolling, were carried out on one titanium stabilized interstitial free (IF) steel that has been warm rolled at ferrite temperature. The main aim was to investigate the evolution of rolling and annealing textures from the well known behavior observed under single cold rolling condition to the less understood double cold rolling by using orientation distribution function (ODF). In the twice cold rolled samples, the annealing texture comprises only single {111}(110-112) r-fibre texture when it subjected to moderate reduction in the first round of rolling. Accordingly both the once cold rolled sample and the twice cold rolled sample with heavy reduction in the first round of rolling have much complex texture components. 19ELECTRODEPOSITED NiSCo ALLOY USED AS HYDROGEN EVOLUTION REACTION CATHODE IN WATER ELECTROLYSIS显示文摘NiSCo catalytic cathodes were obtained by electrodeposition in a typical Watt cellwith addition of NH2 CSNH2 and CoCl2. Using CoCl2 concentration, current density,temperature and pH value as main factors, an orthogonal experiment was designed todetermine the optimum technological conditions according to HER overpotentials. Theoptimum technological conditions were obtained from the minimum HER overpoten-tial -70m V. 20Glass ceramic of high hardness and fracture toughness developed from iron-rich wastes显示文摘A study has been carried out on the feasibility of using high iron content wastes, generated during steel making, as a raw material for the production of glass ceramic. The iron-rich wastes were mixed and melted in different proportions with soda-lime glass cullet and sand. The devitrification of the parent glasses produced from the different mixtures was investigated using differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy. The mechanical properties of the glass-ceramic were assessed by hardness and indentation fracture toughness measurement. A glass ceramic with mixture of 60 wt pct iron-rich wastes, 25 wt pct sand, and 15 wt pct glass cullet exhibited the best combination of properties, namely, hardness 7.9 GPa and fracture toughness 3.75 MPa·m1/2, for the sake of containing magnetite in marked dendritic morphology.
