2Epigenetic mechanisms as a new approach in cancer treatment:An updated review显示文摘Epigenetic,along with genetic mechanisms,is essential for natural evolution and maintenance of specific patterns of gene expression in mammalians.Global epigenetic variation is inherited somatically and unlike genetic variation,it is dynamic and reversible.They are somatically associated with known genetic variations.Recent studies indicate the broad role of epigenetic mechanisms in the initiation and development of cancers,that they are including DNA methylation,histone modifications,nucleosomes changes,non-coding RNAs.The reversible nature of epigenetic changes has led to the emergence of novel epigenetic therapeutic approaches,so that several types of these medications have been approved by the FDA so far.In this review,we discuss the concept of epigenetic changes in diseases,especially cancers,the role of these changes in the onset and progression of cancers and the potential of using this knowledge in designing novel therapeutic strategies.Masoumeh Fardi Saeed Solali Majid Farshdousti Hagh 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,4:7
3Application and comparison of RNN, RBFNN and MNLR approaches on prediction of flotation column performance显示文摘Evaluation of grade and recovery plays an important role in process control and plant profitability in mineral processing operations, especially flotation. The accurate measurement or estimation of these two parameters, based on the secondary variables, is a critical issue. Data-driven modeling techniques, which entail comprehensive data analysis and implementation of machine learning methods for system forecast, provide an attractive alternative. In this paper, two types of artificial neural networks(ANNs),namely radial basis function neural network(RBFNN) and layer recurrent neural network(RNN), and also a multivariate nonlinear regression(MNLR) model were employed to predict metallurgical performance of the flotation column. The training capacity and the accuracy of these three above mentioned types of models were compared. In order to acquire data for the simulation, a case study was conducted at Sarcheshmeh copper complex pilot plant. Based on the root mean squared error and correlation coefficient values, at training and testing stages, the RNN forecasted the metallurgical performance of the flotation column better than RBF and MNLR models. 4Thermoelectric Properties of p-Type PbSe Nanowires显示文摘The thermoelectric properties of individual solution-phase synthesized p-type PbSe nanowires have been examined.The nanowires showed near degenerately doped charge carrier concentrations.Compared to the bulk,the PbSe nanowires exhibited a similar Seebeck coefficient and a significant reduction in thermal conductivity in the temperature range 20 K to 300 K.Thermal annealing of the PbSe nanowires allowed their thermoelectric properties to be controllably tuned by increasing their carrier concentration or hole mobility.After optimal annealing,single PbSe nanowires exhibited a thermoelectric figure of merit(ZT)of 0.12 at room temperature.Wenjie Liang Oded Rabin Allon IHochbaum Melissa Fardy Minjuan Zhang Peidong Yang 2009Nano Research2009,2,5:3
