1The reliability of the Australasian Triage Scale:a meta-analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND: Although the Australasian Triage Scale(ATS) has been developed two decades ago, its reliability has not been def ined; therefore, we present a meta-analyis of the reliability of the ATS in order to reveal to what extent the ATS is reliable.DATA SOURCES: Electronic databases were searched to March 2014. The included studies were those that reported samples size, reliability coefficients, and adequate description of the ATS reliability assessment. The guidelines for reporting reliability and agreement studies(GRRAS) were used. Two reviewers independently examined abstracts and extracted data. The effect size was obtained by the z-transformation of reliability coefficients. Data were pooled with random-effects models, and meta-regression was done based on the method of moment's estimator.RESULTS: Six studies were included in this study at last. Pooled coefficient for the ATS was substantial 0.428(95%CI 0.340–0.509). The rate of mis-triage was less than fifty percent. 3The Effect of Land Use Change on Soil and Water Quality in Northern Iran显示文摘Rapid urbanization has led to extensive land-use changes,particularly in developing countries.This research is aimed to investigate the role of land use and its effect on soil and water quality in Ziarat watershed focusing on four land uses:forest,pasture,cultivated and urban development.Soil samples were taken from a depth of 0-30 cm on each land use and were analyzed by completely randomized split-plot design in two geographical directions.Results showed that bulk density(BD),electrical conductivity(EC),pH,calcium carbonate equivalent(CCE),and soil particle density(DS) of the soil samples in pastures,cultivated and urban areas increased and the mean weight diameter(MWD),soil porosity(F),organic carbons(OC),total nitrogen(TN),exchangeable cations(Ca 2+,Mg 2+,K +,Na +),cation exchange capacity(CEC) and soil microbial respirations(SMR) decreased,respectively in comparison with the forest soils.For water quality evaluations,sodium adsorption ratio(SAR),electrical conductivity(EC),pH,total dissolved solids(TDS),bicarbonate(HCO 3),chloride(Cl),total hardness(TH),calcium(Ca 2+),potassium(K +),sodium(Na +) and magnesium(Mg 2+) were investigated in two areas:Nahrkhoran and Abgir stations.Results showed that the concentration of TDS,EC and HCO 3 in Naharkhoran station is higher than that in Abgir station.On the other hand,the concentration of TDS,EC and HCO 3 in Abgir station are the relatively higher due to its location.Total hardness had the same trend during the study years except in the last three years;however,TH showed an increase of 25% TH in Naharkhoran for the last two years.Cl,K + and SAR in Naharkhoran station increased by 61%,22%,78% and 56% respectively,in comparison with Abgir station.This study demonstrated that the trend of soil degradation and mismanagement of land use may increase the frequency of urban floods and human health problems.KHALEDIAN Yones KIANI Farshad EBRAHIMI Sohaila 2012Journal of Mountain Science2012,9,6:7
4Simultaneous investigation of blast induced ground vibration and airblast effects on safety level of structures and human in surface blasting显示文摘The significance of studying, monitoring and predicting blast induced vibration and noise level in mining and civil activities is justified in the capability of imposing damages, sense of uncertainty due to negative psychological impacts on involved personnel and also judicial complaints of local inhabitants in the nearby area. This paper presents achieved results during an investigation carried out at Sungun Copper Mine, Iran. Besides, the research also studied the significance of blast induced ground vibration and airblast on safety aspects of nearby structures, potential risks, frequency analysis, and human response.According to the United States Bureau of Mines(USBM) standard, the attenuation equations were developed using field records. A general frequency analysis and risk evaluation revealed that: 94% of generated frequencies are less than 14 Hz which is within the natural frequency of structures that increases risk of damage. 5Hot compression deformation behavior of AISI 321 austenitic stainless steel显示文摘The hot compression behavior of AISI 321 austenitic stainless steel was studied at the temperatures of 950- 1100 C and the strain rates of 0.01-1s1 using a Baehr DIL-805 deformation dilatometer. The hot deformation equations and the relationship between hot deformation parameters were obtained. It is found that strain rate and deformation temperature significantly influence the flow stress behavior of the steel. The work hardening rate and the peak value of flow stress increase with the decrease of deformation temperature and the increase of strain rate. In addition, the activation energy of deformation (Q) is calculated as 433.343kJ/mol. The microstructural evolution during deformation indicates that, at the temperature of 950C and the strain rate of 0.01s1 , small circle-like precipitates form along grain boundaries; but at the temperatures above 950C, the dissolution of such precipitates occurs. 6纳米SiO_2负载Preyssler杂多酸催化剂对水杨酸与苄醇或脂肪醇酯化反应的催化性能(英文)显示文摘An efficient and environmentally benign procedure for the catalytic esterification of salicylic acid with aliphatic alcohols, CnH2n+1OH(n=1-5)and benzylic alcohols,RC6H4CH2OH(R=H,NO2,OCH3,Br,Cl,Me)was developed using nano-SiO2-supported Preyssler heteropolyacid both under thermal conditions and microwave irradiation.Silica nanostructures were obtained through a sol-gel method and were characterized by transmission electron microscopy and powder X-ray diffraction.The effects of various parameters such as solvent type,molar ratio of substrates,Preyssler heteropolyacid loading on silica,catalyst amount,temperature,and reaction time were studied and the optimum conditions were obtained.It has been found that the catalyst with 30 wt%loading is highly active and shows high yields in esterification reactions.The use of nano-SiO2-supported Preyssler heteropolyacid coupled with microwave irradiation allows a solvent-free,rapid(3 min),and high-yielding reaction.This catalyst can be easily recovered and reused for many times without a significant loss in its activity.Fatemeh F. 7Strength performance of mortise and loose-tenon furniture joints under uniaxial bending moment显示文摘We determined the effects of adhesive type and loose tenon dimensions(length and thickness) on bending strength of T-shaped mortise and loose-tenon joints. Polyvinyl acetate(PVAc) and two-component polyurethane(PU) adhesives were used to construct joint specimens. The bending moment capacity of joints increased significantly with increased length and thickness of the loose tenon. Bending moment capacity of joints constructed with PU adhesive was approximately 13% higher than for joints constructed with PVAc adhesive. 8Finite element analysis of stress and strain distributions in mortise and loose tenon furniture joints显示文摘We studied the effect of loose tenon dimensions on stress and strain distributions in T-shaped mortise and loose tenon(M<) furniture joints under uniaxial bending loads, and determined the effects of loose tenon length(30, 45, 60, and 90 mm) and loose tenon thickness(6 and 8 mm) on bending moment capacity of M< joints constructed with polyvinyl acetate(PVAc) adhesive. Stress and strain distributions in joint elements were then estimated for each joint using ANSYS finite element(FE) software. The bending moment capacity of joints increased significantly with thickness and length of the tenon. Based on the FE analysis results, under uniaxial bending, the highest shear stress values were obtained in the middle parts of the tenon, while the highest shear elastic strain values were estimated in glue lines between the tenon surfaces and walls of the mortise. Shear stress and shear elastic strain values in joint elements generally increased with tenon dimensions and corresponding bending moment capacities. 9Investigation on the homogenization treatment and element segregation on the microstructure of a γ/γ′-cobalt-based superalloy显示文摘The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of element segregation on the microstructure and γ′ phase in a γ/γ′ cobalt-based superalloy. Several samples were prepared from a cast alloy and homogenized at 1300°C for different times, with a maximum of 24 h. A microstructural study of the cast alloy using wavelength-dispersive spectroscopic analysis revealed that elements such as Al, Ti, and Ni segregated mostly within interdendritic regions, whereas W atoms were segregated within dendrite cores. With an increase in homogenization time, segregation decreased and the initial dendritic structure was eliminated. Field-emission scanning electron microscopy micrographs showed that the γ′ phases in the cores and interdendritic regions of the as-cast alloy were 392 and 124 nm, respectively. The size difference of γ′ was found to be due to the different segregation behaviors of constituent elements during solidification. 10Physical Simulation of Hot Deformation and Microstructural Evolution for 42CrMo4 Steel Prior to Direct Quenching显示文摘Direct quenching and tempering(DQ-T) of hot rolled steel section has been widely used in steel mill for the sake of improvement of mechanical properties and energy saving.Temperature history and microstructural evolution during hot rolling plays a major role in the properties of direct quenched and tempered products.The mathematical and physical modeling of hot forming processes is becoming a very important tool for design and development of required products as well as predicting the microstructure and the properties of the components.These models were mostly used to predict austenite grain size(AGS),dynamic,meta-dynamic and static recrystallization in the rods immediately after hot rolling and prior to DQ process.The hot compression tests were carried out on 42CrMo4 steel in the temperature range of 900-1 100 ℃ and the strain rate range of 0.05-1 s-1 in order to study the high temperature softening behavior of the steel.For the exact prediction of flow stress,the effective stress-effective strain curves were obtained from experiments under various conditions.On the basis of experimental results,the dynamic recrystallization fraction(DRX),AGS,hot deformation and activation energy behavior were investigated.It was found that the calculated results were in good agreement with the experimental flow stress and microstructure of the steel for different conditions of hot deformation.A H Meysami R Ghasemzadeh S H Seyedein M R Aboutalebi R Ebrahimi M Javidani 2009Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2009,16,6:4
11Development of minimally invasive techniques for management of medically-complicated obesity显示文摘The field of bariatric surgery has been rapidly growing and evolving over the past several decades. During the period that obesity has become a worldwide epidemic, new interventions have been developed to combat this complex disorder. The development of new laparoscopic and minimally invasive treatments for medically-complicated obesity has made it essential that gastrointestinal physicians obtain a thorough understanding of past developments and possible future directions in bariatrics. New laparoscopic advancements provide patients and practitioners with a variety of options that have an improved safety profile and better efficacy without open, invasive surgery. The mechanisms of weight loss after bariatric surgery are complex and may in part be related to altered release of regulatory peptide hormones from the gut. Endoscopic techniques designed to mimic the effects of bariatric surgery and endolumenal inter-ventions performed entirely through the gastrointestinal tract offer potential advantages. Several of these new techniques have demonstrated promising, preliminary results. 13Dynamic recrystallization and precipitation in high manganese austenitic stainless steel during hot compression显示文摘Dynamic recrystallization and precipitation in a high manganese austenitic stainless steel were investigated by hot compression tests over temperatures of 950-1150°C at strain rates of 0.001 s-1-1 s-1.All the flow curves within the studied deformation regimes were typical of dynamic recrystallization.A window was constructed to determine the value of apparent activation energy as a function of strain rate and deformation temperature.The kinetics of dynamic recrystallization was analyzed using the Avrami kinetics equation.A range of apparent activation energy for hot deformation from 303 kJ/mol to 477 kJ/mol is obtained at different deformation regimes.Microscopic characterization confirms that under a certain deformation condition(medium Zener-Hollomon parameter(Z) values),dynamic recrystallization appears at first,but large particles can not inhibit the recrystallization.At low or high Z values,dynamic recrystallization may occur before dynamic precipitation and proceeds faster.In both cases,secondary phase precipitation is observed along prior austenite grain boundaries.Stress relaxation tests at the same deformation temperatures also confirm the possibility of dynamic precipitation.Unexpectedly,the Avrami's exponent value increases with the increase of Z value.It is associated with the priority of dynamic recrystallization to dynamic precipitation at higher Z values.Amir Momeni Shahab Kazemi Golam Ebrahimi Alireza Maldar 2014International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2014,21,1:3
14Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and influence of age and gender on histopathologic findings显示文摘AIM:To characterize the histopathologic specifications of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)according to age and gender.METHODS:An analytical cross-sectional study was conducted in two private gastroenterology clinics on biopsy proven patients suffering from NASH.Biopsy histopathologic findings as well as demographic and laboratory data of the patients at the time of biopsy were gathered retrospectively from clinical records.The grading and staging of histopathologic findings were performed according to the Brunt method after reevaluation of the slides by a pathologist.Patients were divided into two groups according to age(belowand above 55 years).Mean quantitative grade of all pathologic findings were also calculated according to Brunt scoring values.RESULTS:A total number of 77 NASH patients,consisting of 58 males(75.3%)and 19(24.7%)females with a mean age of 41.99±11.80 years(range,18-70 years),were enrolled.The mean age(48.72±13.99 years vs 39.74±10.16 years,P=0.004)and aspartate aminotransferase level(75.11±29.68 U/L vs 52.78± 25.00 U/L,P=0.002)was significantly higher in female patients.Mean quantitative grade of hepatosteatosis was significantly higher in females(2.00±0.82 vs 1.59 ±0.68,P=0.031)compared to males.Fifty four percent(34/65)of young patients had mild hepatosteatosis (GradeⅠ)while only one patient(11.2%)in the older group had gradeⅠhepatosteatosis.Patients aged≥55 had significantly more severe hepatosteatosis(GradeⅢ) (44.4%vs 9.5%,P=0.007)and the mean quantitative grade of hepatosteatosis was significantly higher among them(2.33±0.71 vs 1.56±0.67,P=0.002).Multivariate analysis after omitting the confounding role of age revealed a higher grade of hepatosteatosis in female patients(P=0.010).CONCLUSION:These findings point toward the possible influence of age in the severity of steatohepatitis,portal and lobar inflammation in patients suffering from NASH while gender independently might contribute to the level of steatohepatitis.Nargess Ebrahimi Daryani Nasser Ebrahimi Daryani Seyed Moayed Alavian Ali Zare Seyed-Mohammad Fereshtehnejad Mohammad Reza Keramati Mohammad Reza Pashaei Peiman Habibollahi 2010World Journal of Gastroenterology2010,16,33:3
15Analytical study of care quality and moral distress in clinical situations and patient care显示文摘Objective: Nursing profession conventionally meets a high standard of ethical behavior and action. One of the ethical challenges in nursing profession is moral distress. Nurses frequently expose to this phenomenon which leads to different consequences such as being bored by delivering patient care that decline care quality and make it challenging to achieve health purposes. This study was conducted to investigate the association between the aspects of moral distress and care quality.Methods: In this descriptive–analytical study, 545 nurses of intensive and cardiac care units and dialysis and psychiatric wards were recruited by census sampling. Three questionnaires, Sociodemographics, Moral Distress Scale, and Quality Patient Care Scale, were distributed among the participants and collected within 9 months. Data analysis was conducted by descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, and the least significant difference in SPSS 13.Results: Investigating moral distress domains(ignoring patient, decision-making power, and professional competence) and care quality domains(psychosocial, physical, and communicational) demonstrated that in being exposed to moral distress, ignoring patient had no effect on psychosocial domain(P=0.056), but decision-making and professional competence of moral distress had positive effect on psychosocial, physical(bodily), and communication domains of care quality.Conclusions: Because moral distress domains are effective on patient care quality, it is recommended to enhance the knowledge of nurses, especially beginners, about moral distress, increase their strength alongside standardizing nursing services in decisionmaking domains, improve the professional competence, and pay attention to patients.Masoumeh Hasanlo Arezo Azarm Parvaneh Asadi Kourosh Amini Hossein Ebrahimi Mohammad Asghari Jafarabadi 2019Frontiers of Nursing2019,6,4:3
16Investigation of a mutual interaction force at different pressure amplitudes in sulfuric acid显示文摘This paper investigates the secondary Bjerknes force for two oscillating bubbles in various pressure amplitudes in a concentration of 95% sulfuric acid.The equilibrium radii of the bubbles are assumed to be smaller than 10 μm at a frequency of 37 kHz in various strong driving acoustical fields around 2.0 bars (1 bar=10 5 Pa).The secondary Bjerknes force is investigated in uncoupled and coupled states between the bubbles,with regard to the quasi-adiabatic model for the bubble interior.It finds that the value of the secondary Bjerknes force depends on the driven pressure of sulfuric acid and its amount would be increased by liquid pressure amplitude enhancement.The results show that the repulsion area of the interaction force would be increased by increasing the driven pressure because of nonlinear oscillation of bubbles.Nastaran Rezaee Rasoul Sadighi-Bonabi Mona Mirheydari Homa Ebrahimi 2011Chinese Physics B2011,20,8:3

18Segregation behavior and its regulating process in as-cast magnesium alloy containing heavy rare earth显示文摘Specific gravity segregation that occurs during the smelting process always leads to the low composition homogeneity and poor performance stability of the magnesium-rare earth(Mg-RE)alloys.In this study,the segregation behavior of Mg-Gd alloy was investigated by sampling from different locations in the ingot fabricated in a resistance furnace without a pouring process.The combined application of induction-heating and mechanical stirring with various speeds(0-130 r/min)was applied to promote the distribution homogeneity of Gd atoms.In the resistance-heating fabricated ingot,Gd content at the bottom section reaches 407%of that at the top.The coarse dendrites surrounded by the network-like eutectic structures are responsible for the brittle fracture with a poor elongation of 3.7%.By the combined employment of the induction heating and mechanical stirring with the speed of 87 r/min at 740℃for 40 s,the variation of the Gd content within the whole ingot can be reduced to be the minimum of 0.23 wt%.Corresponding formation and regulating models of segregation were also proposed.However,the cooling rate of the melt is reduced by the continuous increase of the stirring speed to 130 r/min,which results in the grain coarsening and lower homogeneity of the ingot.Xin Tong Guoqiang You Fanjin Yao Mahmoud Ebrahimi Xinyue Deng Shokouh Attarilar 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,8:3

20Analysis of factors affecting diagonal tension and compression capacity of corner joints in furniture frames fabricated with dovetail key显示文摘This study was conducted to analyze the effect of joint type, and numbers and types of dovetail keys on diagonal tension and compression performance of corner joints in a furniture frame. Joint members were cut from white fir lumber. Butted and mitered joints were constructed with one and two dovetail key(s) with butterfly and H shapes. Joints were glued by polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) and cynoacrylate (CA). Compression capacity of joints was higher than diagonal tension. Mitered joints were stronger than butted ones. Butterfly dovetail keys were superior to H shape keys. Double keys performed better than single key. Experimental joints glued with PVAc were stronger than those glued with CA glue and control specimens.
