1Preliminary analysis on the relationships between Tibetan Plateau NDVI change and its surface heat source and precipitation of China显示文摘Using the automatic weather station data obtained from the Tibetan Plateau (TP), the normalized dif- ference vegetation index and the monthly precipitation data of China and by the methods of correlation and composite analysis, preliminary analytical results are achieved concerning the relationships be- tween TP NDVI change and its surface heat source and precipitation of China. The results of our re- search may lead to the following conclusions: (1) A positive correlation relationship exists between TP NDVI change and its surface heat source, including the sensible heat and the latent heat. As to the correlation of the former, it is more remarkable in western TP than in eastern TP, and as to the correla- tion of the latter, however it turns out contrary. (2) With the improvement of TP vegetation, its surface heat source of every season is also mainly reinforced, especially in summer. As to the contribution of the sensible heat and the latent heat to the increment of the TP surface heat source intensity, the for- mer is comparatively more significant than the latter in winter and spring, while in summer and autumn, the two have almost the same importance. (3) The correlation coefficient between summer NDVI over TP and the corresponding period precipitation of China displays a belt distribution of '+?+' from south to north China. 2Laboratory tests on enhancing strength of cement stabilized organicsoil with addition of phosphor gypsum and calcium almninate cement显示文摘In order to improve the engineering properties oforganic soil, a new stabilization agent is developed by theaddition of phosphor gypsum and calcium aluminate cement.The artificial organic soil is applied in the study and a series oflaboratory tests were carried out to explore new stabilizationagents and determine the optimal dosage. Unconfinedcompressive strength (UCS) and the pH value of soil poresolution were measured. The influence of organic content,agent composition and curing time on the UCS of sampleswere also researched. The test results show that the UCS ofstabilized organic soils by a new agent achieves approximately800 and 1 200 kPa at 28 and 90 d curing time, respectively.The pH test results show that a high alkaline environment is anecessary and not a sufficient condition for high strength. Thestrength of stabilized soil is related to the hydration product ofstabilization agent. The mechanism of strength formation wasalso explored by X-ray diffraction (XRD), mercury intrusionporosimetry (MIP) and scanning electron microscope (SEM)tests. A large amount of ettringite is produced to fill the largepores of organic soils, which contribute to the high UCS valueof stabilized organic soils. 3Detail control strategies for topology optimization in architectural design and development显示文摘With the ability to generate forms with high efficiency and elegant geometry,topology optimization has been increasingly used in architectural and structural designs.However,the conventional topology optimization techniques aim at achieving the structurally most efficient solution without any potential for architects or designers to control the design details.This paper introduces three strategies based on Bi-directional Evolutionary Structural Optimization(BESO)method to artificially pre-design the topological optimized structures.These strategies have been successfully applied in the computational morphogenesis of various structures for solving practical design problems.The results demonstrate that the developed methodology can provide the designer with structurally efficient and topologically different solutions according to their proposed designs with multi-filter radii,multi-volume fractions,and multi-weighting coefficients.This work establishes a general approach to integrating objective topology optimization methods with subjective human design preferences,which has great potential for practical applications in architecture and engineering industry.Xin Yan Dingwen Bao Yufang Zhou Yimin Xie Tong Cui 2022Frontiers of Architectural Research2022,11,2:4
4Dye-sensitized Solar Cells with Higher J_(sc) by Using Polyvinylidene Fluoride Membrane Counter Electrodes显示文摘A flexible counter electrode(CE) for dye-sensitized solar cells(DSCs) has been fabricated using a micro-porous polyvinylidene fluoride membrane as support media and sputtered Pt as the catalytic material.Non-conventional structure DSCs have been developed by the fabricated CEs. The Pt metal was sputtered onto one surface of the membrane as the catalytic material. DSCs were assembled by attaching the Ti O2 electrode to the membrane surface without Pt coating. The membrane was with cylindrical pore geometry. It served not only as a substrate for the CE but also as a spacer for the DSC. The fabricated DSC with the flexible membrane CE showed higher photocurrent density than the conventional sandwich devices based on chemically deposited Pt/FTO glass, achieving a photovoltaic conversion efficiency of 4.43%. 5Expression, purification of a synthetic fuse-protein-TSF from PF4 and TSP1 fragments and its effect on angio-genesis and tumor growth显示文摘Sequences encoding PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) were linked to yield a single gene TSF which encodes the fuse-protein of TSF. The gene was cloned into a pGEX-2T expression vector to generate a protein GST-TSF, which was strongly expressed in E. coli. The purified GST-TSF was degraded with thrombin to generate the protein TSF. With the methods of MTT and wound repair assay, the effects of TSF on the proliferation and migration of EC were detected, respectively. The results showed that TSF significantly suppressed BAEC proliferation and migration in a dose-dependent manner. The fuse protein GST-TSF, and the peptides PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) also inhibited BAEC proliferation and migration, respectively, but their inhibition rates were not as high as TSF. Using the CAM assay, it was shown that TSF, GST-TSF, PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) inhibited angiogenesis in chick CAM potentially, the effect of TSF was the highest. 7Scribble-Supervised Video Object Segmentation显示文摘Recently,video object segmentation has received great attention in the computer vision community.Most of the existing methods heavily rely on the pixel-wise human annotations,which are expensive and time-consuming to obtain.To tackle this problem,we make an early attempt to achieve video object segmentation with scribble-level supervision,which can alleviate large amounts of human labor for collecting the manual annotation.However,using conventional network architectures and learning objective functions under this scenario cannot work well as the supervision information is highly sparse and incomplete.To address this issue,this paper introduces two novel elements to learn the video object segmentation model.The first one is the scribble attention module,which captures more accurate context information and learns an effective attention map to enhance the contrast between foreground and background.The other one is the scribble-supervised loss,which can optimize the unlabeled pixels and dynamically correct inaccurate segmented areas during the training stage.To evaluate the proposed method,we implement experiments on two video object segmentation benchmark datasets,You Tube-video object segmentation(VOS),and densely annotated video segmentation(DAVIS)-2017.We first generate the scribble annotations from the original per-pixel annotations.Then,we train our model and compare its test performance with the baseline models and other existing works.Extensive experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can work effectively and approach to the methods requiring the dense per-pixel annotations.Peiliang Huang Junwei Han Nian Liu Jun Ren Dingwen Zhang 2022IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,2:1

17Densely nested top-down flows for salient object detection显示文摘With the goal of identifying pixel-wise salient object regions from each input image,salient object detection(SOD)has been receiving great attention in recent years.One kind of mainstream SOD method is formed by a bottom-up feature encoding procedure and a top-down information decoding procedure.While numerous approaches have explored the bottom-up feature extraction for this task,the design of top-down flows remains under-studied.To this end,this paper revisits the role of top-down modeling in salient object detection and designs a novel densely nested top-down flows(DNTDF)-based framework.In every stage of DNTDF,features from higher levels are read in via the progressive compression shortcut paths(PCSPs).The notable characteristics of our proposed method are as follows.(1)The propagation of high-level features which usually have relatively strong semantic information is enhanced in the decoding procedure.(2)With the help of PCSP,the gradient vanishing issues caused by non-linear operations in top-down information flows can be alleviated.(3)Thanks to the full exploration of high-level features,the decoding process of our method is relatively memory-efficient compared to those of existing methods.Integrating DNTDF with EfficientN et,we construct a highly light-weighted SOD model,with very low computational complexity.To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model,comprehensive experiments are conducted on six widely-used benchmark datasets.The comparisons to the most state-of-the-art methods as well as the carefully-designed baseline models verify our insights on the top-down flow modeling for SOD.Chaowei FANG Haibin TIAN Dingwen ZHANG Qiang ZHANG Jungong HAN Junwei HAN 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,8:1
18Synthesis of Cu/Ni-La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)Cr_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_(3-δ) and its catalytic performance on dry methane reforming显示文摘In this study,Cu/Ni-La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)Cr_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_(3-δ)(LSCM) catalysts were synthesized via the citric acid-nitrate process(CNP) and chemical co-precipitation. The catalytic performance of Cu/Ni-LSCM catalysts on dry methane reforming was evaluated in a fixed-bed reactor at 550/650 ℃ and atmosphere pressure. Cu/Ni loading was investigated as an influencing factor, which led to 5 cases of samples according to the different Cu/Ni mass ratios. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), field emissionscanning electron microscope(FE-SEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) measurement, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), hydrogen-based temperature-programmed reduction(H_2-TPR) and thermos gravimetric analyzer(TGA). The results show that the methane conversion increases, the resistance against metal sintering increases and the carbon deposition drops after the copper is introduced.
