| 1 | Hydrogen sulfide, a signaling molecule in plant stress responses显示文摘Gaseous molecules, such as hydrogen sulfide(H_2S)and nitric oxide(NO), are crucial players in cellular and(patho)physiological processes in biological systems. The biological functions of these gaseous molecules, which were first discovered and identified as gasotransmitters in animals, have received unprecedented attention from plant scientists in recent decades. Researchers have arrived at the consensus that H_2S is synthesized endogenously and serves as a signaling molecule throughout the plant life cycle.However, the mechanisms of H_2S action in redox biology is still largely unexplored. This review highlights what we currently know about the characteristics and biosynthesis of H_2S in plants. Additionally,we summarize the role of H_2S in plant resistance to abiotic stress. | 2 | Adaptive Application Offloading Decision and Transmission Scheduling for Mobile Cloud Computing显示文摘Offloading application to cloud can augment mobile devices' computation capabilities for the emerging resource-hungry mobile application, however it can also consume both much time and energy for mobile device offloading application remotely to cloud. In this paper, we develop a newly adaptive application offloading decision-transmission scheduling scheme which can solve above problem efficiently. Specifically, we first propose an adaptive application offloading model which allows multiple target clouds coexisting. Second, based on Lyapunov optimization theory, a low complexity adaptive offloading decision-transmission scheduling scheme has been proposed. And the performance analysis is also given. | 3 | Characterization and Activity of Cr, Cu and Ga Modified ZSM-5 for Direct Conversion of Methane to Liquid Hydrocarbons显示文摘Direct conversion of methane using a metal-loaded ZSM-5 zeolite prepared via acidic ion exchange was investigated to elucidate the roles of metal and acidity in the formation of liquid hydrocarbons. ZSM-5 (SiO2/Al2O3=30) was loaded with different metals (Cr, Cu and Ga) according to the acidic ion-exchange method to produce metal-loaded ZSM-5 zeolite catalysts. XRD, NMR, FT-IR and N2 adsorption analyses indicated that Cr and Ga species managed to occupy the aluminum positions in the ZSM-5 framework. In addition, Cr species were deposited in the pores of the structure. However, Cu oxides were deposited on the surface and in the mesopores of the ZSM-5 zeolite. An acidity study using TPD-NH3, FT-IR, and IR-pyridine analyses revealed that the total number of acid sites and the strengths of the Bronsted and Lewis acid sites were significantly different after the acidic ion exchange treatment.Cu loaded HZSM-5 is a potential catalyst for direct conversion of methane to liquid hydrocarbons. | 5 | Hydrogen sulfide-linked persulfidation of ABI4 controls ABA responses through the transactivation of MAPKKK18 in Arabidopsis显示文摘Hydrogen sulfide(H2S)is a signaling molecule that regulates plant hormone and stress responses.The phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)plays an important role in plant adaptation to unfavorable environmental conditions and induces the persulfidation of L-CYSTEINE DESULFHYDRASE1(DES1)and the production of H2S in guard cells.However,it remains largely unclear how H2S and protein persulfidation participate in the relay of ABA signals.In this study,we discovered that ABSCISIC ACID INSENSITIVE 4(ABI4)acts downstream of DES1 in the control of ABA responses in Arabidopsis.ABI4 undergoes persulfidation at Cys250 that is triggered in a time-dependent manner by ABA,and loss of DES1 function impairs this process.Cys250 and its persulfidation are essential for ABI4 function in the regulation of plant responses to ABA and the H2S donor NaHS during germination,seedling establishment,and stomatal closure,which are abolished in the ABI4Cys250Ala mutated variant.Introduction of the ABI4Cys250Ala variant into the abi4 des1 mutant did not rescue its hyposensitivity to ABA.Cys250 is critical for the binding of ABI4 to its cognate motif in the promoter of Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 18(MAPKKK18),which propagates the MAPK signaling cascade induced by ABA.Furthermore,the DES1-mediated persulfidation of ABI4 enhances the transactivation activity of ABI4 toward MAPKKK18,and ABI4 can bind the DES1 promoter,forming a regulatory loop.Taken together,these findings advance our understanding of a post-translational regulatory mechanism and suggest that ABI4 functions as an integrator of ABA and MAPK signals through a process in which DES1-produced H2S persulfidates ABI4 at Cys250. | Mingjian Zhou Jing Zhang Jie Shen Heng Zhou Didi Zhao Cecilia Gotor Luis CRomero Ling Fu Zongmin Li Jing Yang Wenbiao Shen Xingxing Yuan Yanjie Xie | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,6: | 5 |
| 6 | Permian-Triassic magmatic evolution of granitoids from the southeastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt:Implications for accretion leading to collision显示文摘Many orogenic belts in the world exhibit accretionary and collisional orogenic phases to varying extents.How accretion evolves into collision of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB),the largest Phanerozoic accretionary orogenic belt,is an intriguing question.In this paper,we present new U-Pb age,geochemical and isotopic data for Permian-Triassic granitoids from middle Inner Mongolia,Northern China in the southeastern CAOB,and delineate the magmatic transition from subduction to(soft)collision.The magmatic record of soft collision is identified and characterized by thickened lower crust-derived high Sr/Y granitoids with a sub-linear distribution along the Solonker suture zone.Granitoids from Early Permian to Late Permian became more enriched in whole-rock Nd and zircon Hf isotopic compositions(εNd(t)values from 2.4 to-19.5,εHf(t)values from 11.6 to-33.7),indicating increasing incorporation of old crust.The change in peak timing of magmatism from west(ca.264 Ma)to east(ca.251 Ma)along the Solonker suture zone implies'scissor-like'closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean.Integrated with previous studies,a three-stage tectonic model from the Permian to Triassic by accretion leading to collision on the south-eastern margin of CAOB is proposed.(1)Early Permian(>ca.285 Ma):Juvenile magmatism on an active continental margin with double-sided subduction of the Paleo-Asian Ocean;(2)Middle Permian to Middle Triassic(ca.285–235 Ma):Magma source transition from juvenile to old crust induced by a tectonic switch from arc to'scissor-like'closure and subsequent intracontinental orogenic contraction;(3)Late Triassic( | Didi WU Shan LI David CHEW Tieyi LIU Donghai GUO | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,5: | 3 |
| 7 | Improved electrochemical performances of yttrium oxyfluoride-coated Li[Li0.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13]O2 for lithium ion batteries显示文摘The Li-rich layered oxides show a higher discharge capacity over 250 m Ah/g and have been developed into a promising positive material for lithium ion batteries. A rare earth metal oxyfluoride YOF-coated Li[Li_(0.2)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)]O_2 composites have been synthesized by a simple wet chemical method. Crystal structure, micro-morphology and element valence of the pristine and YOF-coated Li[Li_(0.2)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)]O_2 materials are characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, and XPS. The results indicate that all materials exhibit a typical layered structure, and are made up of small and homogenous particles ranging from 100 nm to 200 nm. In addition, YOF layer with a thickness of approximately 3–8 nm is precisely coated on the surface of the Li[Li_(0.2)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)]O_2. Constant current charge/discharge tests at various current densities show that the electrochemical performance of 2 wt% YOF-coated Li[Li_(0.2)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)]O_2 has been improved significantly. 2 wt% YOF-coated Li[Li_(0.2)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)]O_2 delivers the highest discharge capacity of 250.4 m Ah/g at 20 m A/g among all the samples, and capacity retention of 87% after 100 charge/discharge cycles at 200 m A/g while that of the pristine one is only81.6%. | 13 | Analysis of the correlation between the longitudinal trajectory of SOFA scores and prognosis in patients with sepsis at 72 hour after admission based on group trajectory modeling显示文摘Background:To identify the distinct trajectories of the Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA)scores at 72 h for patients with sepsis in the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care(MIMIC)-IV database and determine their effects on mortality and adverse clinical outcomes.Methods:A retrospective cohort study was carried out involving patients with sepsis from the MIMIC-IV database.Group-based trajectory modeling(GBTM)was used to identify the distinct trajectory groups for the SOFA scores in patients with sepsis in the intensive care unit(ICU).The Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to investigate the relationship between the longitudinal change trajectory of the SOFA score and mortality and adverse clinical outcomes.Results:A total of 16,743 patients with sepsis were included in the cohort.The median survival age was 66 years(interquartile range:54-76 years).The 7-day and 28-day in-hospital mortality were 6.0%and 17.6%,respectively.Five different trajectories of SOFA scores according to the model fitting standard were determined:group 1(32.8%),group 2(30.0%),group 3(17.6%),group 4(14.0%)and group 5(5.7%).Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses showed that,for different clinical outcomes,trajectory group 1 was used as the reference,while trajectory groups 2-5 were all risk factors associated with the outcome(P<0.001).Subgroup analysis revealed an interaction between the two covariates of age and mechanical ventilation and the different trajectory groups of patients’SOFA scores(P<0.05).Conclusion:This approach may help identify various groups of patients with sepsis,who may be at different levels of risk for adverse health outcomes,and provide subgroups with clinical importance. | Rui Yang Didi Han Luming Zhang Tao Huang Fengshuo Xu Shuai Zheng Haiyan Yin Jun Lyu | 2022 | Journal of Intensive Medicine2022,2,1: | 1 |
