1Phenolic Components from Rhododendron latoucheae Part 5 in the series 'Chemical Studies on Ericaceae Plants显示文摘From the leaves of Rhododendron latoucheae (Ericaceae). two new natural phenolic compounds named (+)-rhodolatouchol 1 and isoepirhododendrin 4 were identified. Six other known compounds. 2On the technologies of Hα imaging spectrograph for the CHASE mission显示文摘The Hα imaging spectrograph(HIS) is the scientific payload of the first solar space mission, the Chinese Hα solar explorer(CHASE), supported by the China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE/HIS achieves, for the first time in space, Hα spectroscopic observations with high spectral and temporal resolutions. Separate channels for the raster scanning mode(RSM) and continuum imaging mode(CIM) are integrated into one, and a highly integrated design is achieved through multiple folding of the optical path and ultra-light miniaturized components. The design of HIS implements a number of key technologies such as high-precision scanning of the optical field of view(FOV), high-precision integrated manufacturing inspection, a large-tolerance pre-filter window, and full-link solar radiation calibration. 4使用Pipeline栓塞器械治疗颅内动脉瘤成功率预测的Meta分析(英文)显示文摘OBJECTIVE To conduct meta-regression for the identification of clinically meaningful characteristics that can predict successful treatment of intracranial aneurysms(IAs)with the Pipeline Embolization Device(PED).METHODS Using the keyword'Pipeline Embolization Device'and pre-specified eligibility criteria,we searched PubM ed and EMBASE and identified 105 original research articles(10,813 patients)published or in press(April 6,2011-December 31,2016)focused on safety and/or effectiveness of PED.We constructed meta-regression models to identify predictors of three measures of PED treatment success,specifically rates of aneurysm occlusion,modified Rankin score(mRS)and death.Rates were loge-transformed and the adjusted R2 statistic was reported for each model.RESULTS Aneurysm morphology and type accounted for substantial variation in 1-year aneurysm occlusion rate(14 studies with 689 patients;Radj2=88.91%).By contrast,predictors of 6-months aneurysm occlusion rate(aneurysm location,aneurysm type)(24 studies with 1,321 patients;Radj2=31.67%)and aneurysm occlusion rate at unspecified follow-up time(year of publication,mean duration of angiographic follow-up)(34 studies with 1,663 patients,Radj2=42.82%)accounted for less variability.Few predictors were identified for death rate(number of patients,aneurysm morphology;34 studies with 6,463 patients,Radj2=50.69%)or mRS≤2(year of publication,mean age,aneurysm morphology;14 studies with 556 patients,Radj2=100%).CONCLUSIONS:Few clinically meaningful characteristics appear to be relevant as predictors of the selected measures of PED treatment success.Future studies should attempt to identify additional predictors while focusing on aneurysm morphology as a key predictor of PED outcomes.Beydoun HA Azarbaijani Y Cheng H Anderson-Smits C Marinac-Dabic D 2018中华神经外科疾病研究杂志2018,17,2:1

17Novel Inhibitory Effects of Glycyrrhizic Acid on the Accumulation of Advanced Glycation End Product and Its Receptor Expression显示文摘Beneficial effects of glycyrrhizic acid(GA),a bioactive extract of licorice root,in the prevention of metabolic syndrome have been consistently reported while advanced glycation end products(AGE)and receptor for advanced glycation end product(RAGE)are the leading factors in the development of diabetes mellitus.The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of GA on the AGE-RAGE axis using high-fat/high-sucrose(HF/HS)diet-induced metabolic syndrome rat models.Twenty four male Sprague–Dawley rats were randomly assigned into three groups for 4 weeks:(1)Group A,normal diet with standard rat chow;(2)Group B,HF/HS diet;(3)Group C,HF/HS diet and oral administration of 100 mg/kg GA per day.The results showed that HF/HS diet elevated the fasting blood glucose level and insulin resistance index which was prevented by GA supplementation.GA treatment significantly lowered the circulating AGE independent of its glucose-lowering effect.HF/HS diet also triggered RAGE upregulation in the abdominal muscles while GA administration downregulated RAGE expression in the abdominal muscles,aorta and subcutaneous adipose tissues.In conclusion,HF/HS diet could cause glucose intolerance,insulin resistance and upregulation of RAGE expression while GA ameliorated the metabolic dysregulation besides exhibiting inhibitory effects on the AGE-RAGE axis.Hong Sheng Cheng Joana Magdelene Xiao Fang Kong Athena Xin Hui Ng Weng Keong Chan So Ha Ton Khalid Abdul Kadir 2014Natural Products and Bioprospecting2014,4,6:1
