| 1 | Lake sediment resuspension and caused phosphate release——a simulation study显示文摘Intact sediment cores and wet/dried surficial sediments sampled from the two sublakes in Taihu Lake, Meiliang Bay and Wuli Lake, were incubated in the laboratory to determine the effects of resuspension on internal phosphorus loading by simulating different resuspension events. Soluble reactive phosphorus (SRP) release from undisturbed core sediment sampled in the Meiliang Bay and Wuli Lake in July 1998 was 1 53 mg/m 2 and 2 24 mg/m 2 within 4 days, respectively. However during one hour experimental simulation of resuspension, SRP increased by 0 041 mg/L and 0 077 mg/L in the above cores, which indicate that a typical resuspension event in the lake would be accompanied by the release of 10 77 mgSRP/m 2 and 23 1 mgSRP/m 2, respectively. The internal phosphorus loading induced by resuspension is estimated to be 8-10 times greater than the release from undisturbed sediment. SRP release from the dried sediments during simulation of resuspension was mainly dependent on the disturbing intensity. Only when the wind strength gets to certain level, the influence of wind speed on phosphorus release appears significant, indicating that an exchangeable P pool, capable of altering equilibrium conditions in the lake areas, is built up under strongly wind exposed resuspension events. | Fan, CX Zhang, L Qu, TC | 2001 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2001，13，4： | 14 |

| 3 | Microstructure of Laser Remelted Ni-base Alloy Coating on Stainless Steel显示文摘A 5 kW CW CO2 gas laser was used to produce NiCrBSi superalloy coatings. Powders were preplaced by plasma-spraying. The microstructure and chemical composition of the coating have been studied by SEM, XRD and HREM. | 4 | Intrahepatic transplantation of hepatic oval cells for fulminant hepatic failure in rats显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the effect of intrahepatic transplantation of hepatic oval cells(HOC)on fulminant hepatic failure(FHF)in rats.METHODS:HOC obtained from rats were labeled with green fluocescent protein(GFP)or 5,6carboxyfluorescein diacetate succinmidyl ester(CFDASE).Cell fluorescence was observed under fluorescent microscope at 6,24,48 and 72 h after labeling.CFDASE labeled HOC(5×10 6 cells each rat)were injected into livers of rats with FHF induced by D-galactosamine.Serum albumin(ALB),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and total bilirubin(TBil)levels were measured at different time points.Liver function of rats was examined on days 3,7,14 and 21 after HOC transplantation.RESULTS:The positive rate of GFP and CFDA-SE labeled HOC was 10%and 90%,respectively,with no significant change in cell viabilities.The survival rate was higher in HOC transplantation group than in control group,especially 48(9/15 vs 6/15)and 72 h(9/15 vs 4/15)after HOC transplantation.The serum ALT,AST and TBil levels were decreased while the serum Alb level was increased after HOC transplantation.Fluorescence became faded and diffused in liver tissues,suggesting that proliferation and differentiation occur in transplanted HOC.CONCLUSION:CFDA-SE is superior to GFP in labeling HOC,although fluorescence intensity is decreased progressively with cell division.HOC transplantation can improve the liver function and increase the survival rate of recipients. | Chen-Xuan Wu,Qi Zou,Zheng-Yan Zhu,Ying-Tang Gao,Yi-Jun Wang,Department of Hepatobiliary,The Third Center of Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin Medical University Key Laboratory of Artificial Cells of Tianjin,Tianjin 300170,China Author contributions:Wang YJ,Wu CH and Zou Q designed the research Zou Q,Zhu ZY,Gao YT performed the research Zou Q analyzed the data Wang YJ and Wu CX wrote the paper.Supported by Tianjin Science Committee,Grant No.05SYSYJC02600 and Tianjin Health Bureau,Grant No.05KYR01 | 2009 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2009，15，12： | 7 |
