4Forty Years Development of China's Outward Foreign Direct Investment:Retrospect and the Challe nges Ahead显示文摘Outwardforeign direct investment(OFDI)has increasingly become an important method for China to integrate into the world economy.This paper comprehensively reviews and analyzes policy development and the changing pattern of China's OFDI over the past 40 years.We divide the development into'restricted”(1978-1999),'relaxed'(2000-2016)and'regulated',(2017 onwards)stages.This paper also reviews literature on the impact of Chinese OFDI on China and host countries.Despite its generally positive effects,large-scale and unbalanced OFDI activities have alarmed Chinese policymakers.Both developing and developed host countries have expressed their concern over national security and the misbehavior of some Chinese overseas enterprises.Therefore,greater supervision and adjustment from quantity to quality growth is necessary for the future development of China's OFDI.Bijun Wang Kailin Gao 2019China & World Economy2019,27,3:10
5Zeolitic Imidazolate Framework 8-Derived Au@ZnO for Efficient and Robust Photocatalytic Degradation of Tetracycline显示文摘Summary of main observation and conclusion Tetracycline (TC) and other antibiotics accumulated in groundwater and soil pollute ecological environment and threaten human health. Gold nan oparticles doped on photocatalysts are able to enhance the photodegradation efficiency during removing these antibiotics, but preparation of Au nanoparticles of well-dispersion on photocatalysts remains challenging. In this work, zeolite imidazolate (ZIF-8) was employed as the precursor to prepare Au@ZnO photocatalyst via impregnation and in-situ reduction method to efficiently degrade the tetracycline in the aqueous solution. Au nanoparticles are of 10 nm in size and uniformly dispersed on the surfaces of ZnO microstructures. The as-prepared Au@ZnO is able to remove 85.5% of TC of 0.010 mg/mL within 2h, presenting higher photocatalytic activity than pure ZnO catalyst. Most importantly, the catalyst shows its superior stability after five cycles without structure and activity changing. 6Chromosome-level genome of Himalayan yew provides insights into the origin and evolution of the paclitaxel biosynthetic pathway显示文摘Taxus,commonly known as yew,is a well-known gymnosperm with great ornamental and medicinal value.In this study,by assembling a chromosome-level genome of the Himalayan yew(Taxus wallichiana)with 10.9 Gb in 12 chromosomes,we revealed that tandem duplication acts as the driving force of gene family evolution in the yew genome,resulting in the main genes for paclitaxel biosynthesis,i.e.those encoding the taxadiene synthase,P450s,and transferases,being clustered on the same chromosome.The tandem duplication may also provide genetic resources for the nature to sculpt the core structure of taxoids at different positions and subsequently establish the complex pathway of paclitaxel by neofunctionalization.Furthermore,we confirmed that there are two genes in the cluster encoding isoenzymes of a known enzyme in the paclitaxel biosynthetic pathway.The reference genome of the Himalayan yew will serve as a platform for decoding the complete biosynthetic pathway of paclitaxel and understanding the chemodi-versity of taxoids in gymnosperms.Jian Cheng Xiao Wang Xiaonan Liu Xiaoxi Zhu Zihe Li Huanyu Chu Qian Wang QianQian Lou Bijun Cai Yiqun Yang Xiaoyun Lu Kai Peng Dingyu Liu Yuwan Liu Lina Lu Huan Liu Ting Yang Qijin Ge Chengcheng Shi Guichun Liu Zhiwei Dong Xun Xu Wen Wang Huifeng Jiang Yanhe Ma 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,7:6

8Sustainable functional urethral reconstruction:Maximizing early continence recovery in robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the safety profile and short-term functional outcome of sustainable functional urethral reconstruction(SFUR)in robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy(RARP).Methods:One hundred and sixty-two consecutive prostate cancer patients who underwent RARP were retrospectively analyzed,in which 53 had undergone SFUR while the other 109 had undergone conventional RARP procedures.Immediate,2-week,1-month and 3-month continence recovery and other perioperative data were compared to evaluate short-term surgical and functional outcome.Results:The median age was 68 and 67 years in the experimental group and control group,respectively(pZ0.206),with a median prostate-specific antigen(PSA)of 13.6 ng/mL(interquartile range[IQR],8.46e27.32 ng/mL)in the experimental group and 13.84 ng/mL(IQR,9.12e26.80 ng/mL)in control group(pZ0.846).Immediate,2-week,1-month and 3-month continence recovery rates between the groups were 34.0%vs.3.7%,50.9%vs.14.7%,62.3%vs.27.5%,and 79.2%vs.63.3%(all p<0.05).The morphological changes made by the new reconstruction technique were maintained on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)3 months postoperatively.Nerve-sparing procedures and adoption of the new reconstruction technique were significantly relevant to continence recovery on logistics regression model(p<0.001).Conclusions:SFUR is a safe and easy-to-handle modification that may contribute to early continence return for RARP.Long-term follow-up and prospective studies are required to further evaluate its value in postoperative quality-of-life improvement.Zepeng Jia Yifan Chang Yan Wang Jing Li Min Qu Feng Zhu Huan Chen Bijun Lian Meimian Hua Yinghao Sun Xu Gao 2021Asian Journal of Urology2021,8,1:2

11Effects of surface roughness on interfacial dynamic recrystallization and mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-3Nb-2Zr-1Mo alloy joints produced by hot-compression bonding显示文摘The influence of surface roughness on the interfacial dynamic recrystallization kinetics and mechanical properties of Ti-6 Al-3 Nb-2 Zr-1 Mo hot-compression bonding joints was systematically investigated.It is found that for the bonding interface of rough surfaces,elongated fine grains are formed at the bonding interface due to shear deformation of the interfacial area.As the surface roughness increases,the proportion of elongated grains drastically decreases as they further reorient to form equiaxed grains along the bonding interface of rougher surfaces resulting from severe incompatible deformation of the interface area.Meanwhile,high-density geometrically necessary dislocations accumulate around the interfacial recrystallization area to accommodate the incompatible strain and lattice rotation.A rotational dynamic recrystallization mechanism is thereby proposed to rationalize the formation of fine interfacial recrystallization grains during bonding of rough surfaces.In contrast to that of rough surfaces,bonding interface of polished surfaces exists in the form of straight interface grain boundaries without fine grains under the same deformation conditions.While with the increase of deformation strain,small grain nuclei form along the bonding interface,which is associated with discontinuous dynamic recrystallization assisted by strain-induced boundary migration of interface grain boundaries.Moreover,the bonding joints of rough surfaces show lower elongation compared with that of polished surfaces.This is because the formation of heterogeneous fine grains with low Schmid factor along the bonding interface of rough surfaces,leading to worse compatible deformation capability and thereby poor ductility of bonding joints.Bijun Xie Zhenxiang Yu Haiyang Jiang Bin Xu Chunyang Wang Jianyang Zhang Mingyue Sun Dianzhong Li Yiyi Li 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,1:2
