Mo SILTCIDE SYNTHISIS BY DUAL ION BEAM DEPOSITION显示文摘Mo suicides Mo5 Si3 with high quality were prepared using ion beam deposition equipment with two Filter Metal Vacuum Arc Deposition (FMEVAD). When the number of alternant deposition times was 198, total thickness of the coating is 40nm. The coatings with droplet free can be readily obtained, so the surface is smooth. TEM observation shows that Mo and Si alternant deposition coating is compact structure. The fine Mo suicide grains densely distributed in the coating. The coating adherence on silicon is excellent. | T.H. Zhang, Z.Z. Yi, X. Y. Wu, S.J. Zhang, Y. G. Wu, X. Zhang, H.X. Zhang, A.D. Liu and X.J. | 2 | Characterization of microarc oxidation coatings on pure titanium显示文摘The morphology, composition, and phase structure of the oxide coatings produced on the surface of pure titaniumby alternating-current microarc discharge in aluminate solution were investigated by X-ray diffraction and scanning electronmicroscopy. The profiles of the hardness H and the elastic modulus E in the coatings were determined using a nanoindenta-tion method. The concentration distributions of Ti, Al, and O in the coating show that this coating over 30 μm thick containstwo layers: an outer layer and an inner layer. The oxide coating is mainly composed of TiO2 rutile and Al2TiO5 compounds.During oxidation, the temperature in the microarc discharge channel was very high to make the local coating molten. Fromthe surface to the interior of the coating, H and E increase gradually, and then reach maximum values of 9.78 GPa and 176GPa respectively at a distance of 7 μm from the coating/titanium interface. They are also rather high near the interface. | XUE Wenbin, WANG Chao, Li Yongliang, and CHEN RuyiKey Laboratory for Beam Technology and Materials Modification, Institute of Low Energy Nuclear Physics, Beijing Normal University, Beijing 100875, China | 2003 | Rare Metals2003,22,1: | 9
HIGH-ENERGY PROTON IRRADIATION EFFECTS ON GaAs/Ge SPACE SOLAR CELLS显示文摘This paper reports the high-energy proton irradiation effects on GaAs/Ge space solar cells. The solar cells were irradiated by protons with energy of 5-20MeV at fluence ranging from 1×109cm2 to 7×1013cm-2, and then their electric parameters were measured at AMO. It was shown that the Iac, Voc,. and Pmax degrade as the fluence increasing, respectively, but the degradation rates of L,, V0 and Pmax decrease as the proton energy increasing, and the degradation is relative to proton irradiation-induced defect with a level of E -0.41eV in irradiated GaAs/Ge cells. | R. | 4 | First-principles calculations on implanted TiO_2 by 3d transition metal ions显示文摘3d transition metal (V, Cr and Fe) ions are implanted into TiO2 by the method of metal ion implantation. The electronic band structures of TiO2 films doped 3d transition metal ions have been analyzed by ab initio band calculations based on a self-consistent full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave method within the first-principle formalism. Influence of implantation on TiO2 films is examined by the method of UV-visible spectrometry. The results of experiment and calculation show that the optical band gap of TiO2 films is narrowed by ion implantation. The calculation shows that the 3d state of V, Cr and Fe ions plays a significant role in red shift of UV-Vis absorbance spectrum. | HOU XingGang1,2, HUANG MeiDong1, WU XiaoLing2 & LIU AnDong2 1 Department of Physics, Tianjin Normal University, Tianjin 300387, China 2 Key Laboratory of Beam Technology and Material Modification of Ministry of Education, Beijing Normal University, Beijing 100875, China | 2009 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2009,52,6: | 6

CALCULATION OF 3-D TRANSIENT TEMPERATURE FIELD DURING LASER TRANSFORMATION HARDENING PROCESS显示文摘A three-dimensional transient heat transfer model for laser transformation hardening process has been developed in this paper. The finite size of the laser treated sample, the surface heat loss of the sample, the latent heat of phase transformation and the temperature dependence of thermal properties of materials were considered. The heat source was considered as a moving Gaussian heat flux with a constant velocity. Three-dimension unequally spatial grid explicit finite difference equations, alternating direction implicit finite difference equations and implicit finite difference equations were deduced respectively. Three programs to calculate the temperature field were developed using Fortran language. The transient temperature fields of C22, 42CrMo, C60 steel samples during laser transformation hardening process were calculated using these programs, and the widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones were also predicted. C22, 42CrMo, C60 steel samples were treated by CO2 laser, the widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones of these samples were also measured experimentally. The calculated widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones are in good agreement with the experimental results. | L. W Zhang, R.S. Wang, J. Th.M.De Hosson, Y.L. Xia and F. G. | 8 | Cytomegalovirus infection in liver transplant recipients: Updates on clinical management显示文摘Cytomegalovirus(CMV) infection is a common complication after liver transplantation, and it is associated with multiple direct and indirect effects. Management of CMV infection and disease has evolved over the years, and clinical guidelines have been recently updated.Universal antiviral prophylaxis and a pre-emptive treatment strategy are options for prevention. A currentlyrecruiting randomized clinical trial is comparing the efficacy and safety of the two prevention strategies in the highest risk D+R- liver recipients. Drug-resistant CMV infection remains uncommon but is now increasing in incidence. This highlights the currently limited therapeutic options, and the need for novel drug discoveries.Immunotherapy and antiviral drugs with novel mechanisms of action are being investigated, including letermovir(AIC246) and brincidofovir(CMX001). This article reviews the current state of CMV management after liver transplantation, including the updated practice guidelines, and summarizes the data on investigational drugs and vaccines in clinical development. | Jasmine Riviere Marcelin Elena Beam Raymund R Razonable | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,31: | 4

A mechanism for enhanced photocatalytic activity of nano-size silver particle modified titanium dioxide thin films显示文摘Ag-TiO2 nanostructured thin films with silver volume fraction of 0–20% were deposited on silicon and quartz substrates by RF magnetron sputtering and annealed in ambient air at 950°C for 1 h. The phase structure and surface topography of the films were characterized by X-ray diffractometer and transmission electron microscope. Photocatalytic activity of the films was evaluated by light induced degradation of methyl orange (C14H14N3NaO3S) solution using a high pressure mercury lamp as lamp-house. The relation of photocatalytic activity and silver content was studied in detail. It was found that silver content influences phase structure of TiO2 thin films, and silver in the films is metallic Ag (Ag0). With increasing silver content from 0 to 20 vol%, photocatalytic activity of the films increases first and then decreases. A suitable amount (2.5–5 vol%) silver addition can significantly enhance the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 films. The enhanced photocatalytic activity was mainly attributed to the extension of visible light absorption region of the films, the presence of anatase phase, the increase of oxy-gen anion radicals O2? and reactive center of surface Ti3+, and the better separation between electrons and holes on the films surface. | MENG FanMing1,2,3*, LU Fei1,3, SUN ZhaoQi1,3 & Lü JianGuo1,2,4 1 School of Physics and Materials Science, Anhui University, Hefei 230039, China 2 Key Laboratory of Materials Modification by Laser, Ion and Electron Beams (Dalian University of Technology), Ministry of Education, Dalian 116024, China 3 Anhui Key Laboratory of Information Materials and Devices, Anhui University, Hefei 230039, China 4 Department of Physics and Electronic Engineering, Hefei Normal University, Hefei 230061, China | 2010 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,11: | 4

Laser Remelting of Plasma Sprayed NiCrAlY and NiCrAlY-Al_2O_3 Coatings显示文摘Two types of plasma sprayed coatings (NiCrAlY and NiCrAlY-A12O3) were remelted by a 5 kW cw CO2 laser. With increasing laser power and decreasing traverse speed in the ranges of 200-700 W and 5-30 mm/s respectively, the melted track grew in width and depth. In the optimum range of laser parameters, a homogeneous remelted layer without voids, cavities, unmelted particles and microcracks was formed. On the surface of remelted layers, Al203 and YAIO3 were detected. As a result of isothermal oxidation tests, weight gains of laser remelted coatings were obviously lower than that only plasma sprayed, especially laser remelted NiCrAlY-Al2O3 coatings. The effects of laser remelting and incorporation of A12O3 second phase in N1CrAlY matrix on high temperature oxidation resistance were discussed. | Yingna WU, Gang ZHA NC, Bingchun ZHANG, Zhongchao FENG and Yong LIANG Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang 110016, China Fangjun LIU Key Laboratory for High Energy Density Beam Processing Technology, Beijing Aeronautical Manu | 2001 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2001,17,5: | 3

Collision dynamics of He@C_(60)+He@C_(60) at low energies显示文摘A semi-empirical molecular dynamics model is developed. The central collisions of C60+C60 and He@C60+He@C60 at different incident energies are investigated based on this model. It is found that the dimer structures have been produced at proper incident energies and these fullerene dimers could be formed by a self-assembly of C60 fullerene and He@C60. The He atom has a significant effect at higher incident energy and this embedded He atom can enhance the stability of the dimer structure. | ZHAO Qiang1,2, ZHANG FengShou1,2,3 & ZHOU HongYu1,2 1 Key Laboratory of Beam Technology and Material Modification of Ministry of Education, Institute of Low Energy Nuclear Physics, Beijing Normal University, Beijing 100875, China 2 Beijing Radiation Center, Beijing 100875, China 3 Center of Theoretical Nuclear Physics, National Laboratory of Heavy Ion Accelerator of Lanzhou, Lanzhou 730000, China | 2008 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2008,51,7: | 2

Online diagnosis of electron excitation temperature in CH_4+H_2 discharge plasma at atmospheric pressure by optical emission spectra显示文摘Methane coupling under low temperature plasmas at atmospheric pressure is a green process by use of renewable sources of energy. In this study, CH4+H2 dis- charge plasma was on-line diagnosed by optical emission spectra so as to char- acterize the discharge system and to do spade work for the optimization of the technical parameters for future commercial production of methane coupling under plasmas. The study was focused on a calculation method for the online diagnosis of the electron excitation temperature in CH4+H2 discharge plasma at atmospheric pressure. The diagnostic method is easy, efficient and fairly precise. | 20 | Influence of Nitrogen Flow Rate on the Microstructure and Properties of N and Me (Me=Cr,Zr) Co-doped Diamond-like Carbon Films显示文摘In this paper,Me (Me=Cr,Zr) and N co-doped diamond like carbon (DLC-MeN) composite films were prepared on cemented carbide substrates by pulsed bias arc ion plating. The effect of nitrogen flow rates on the microstructure and properties of the films were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),Raman spectra, grazing incident X-ray diffraction (GIXRD),high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and nano-indentation.Raman,GIXRD and HRTEM results show that the deposited films are nanocomposite films with MeN nanocrystalline phase embedded within DLC amorphous matrix, which are vital for the mechanical properties of the films. The nitrogen flow rate has significant effect on the compositions and structures and hence on the hardness and elastic modulus of the films, and increasing nitrogen flow rate decreases drastically the hardness and elastic modulus of the films. | Zhiyun Han,Hongkai Li,Guoqiang Lin and Chuang Dong Key Laboratory for Material Modification by Laser,Ion and Electron Beams,Dalian University of Technology,Dalian 116085,China | 2010 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,11: | 2
