1异种搅拌摩擦焊制备铜铝合金双金属纳米复合材料显示文摘对纯铜与AA5754合金进行对接搅拌摩擦焊接。为了降低金属间化合物的有害影响,在搅拌摩擦焊(FSW)接头中添加纳米SiC强化颗粒。采用拉伸试验、显微硬度试验、扫描电镜和X射线衍射分析方法研究焊接接头的性能。结果显示,当焊接速度为50 mm/min、转速为1000 r/min时接头的性能最好。纳米SiC颗粒的存在使搅拌区(SZ)铝和铜的晶粒尺寸分别从38.3和12.4μm减小到12.9和5.1μm。含SiC纳米增强颗粒的接头其抗拉强度约为240 MPa,是铝基体的~90%。且添加SiC纳米颗粒使接头焊缝区的最高显微硬度从HV 160显著增加到HV 320。结果还表明,FSW接头中生成热的升高使Al_(4)Cu_(9)和Al_(2)Cu金属间化合物的数量增加。Farhad BAKHTIARI ARGESI Ali SHAMSIPUR Seyyed Ehsan MIRSALEHI 2021Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China2021,31,5:8
2Dissimilar Joining of Pure Copper to Aluminum Alloy via Friction Stir Welding显示文摘In this study, the dissimilar friction stir welding(FSW) butt joints between aluminum alloy 5754-H114 and commercially pure copper were investigated. The thickness of welded plates was 4 mm and the aluminum plate was placed on the advancing side. In order to obtain a suitable flow and a better material mixing, a 1-mm offset was considered for the aluminum plate, toward the butt centerline. For investigating the microstructure and mechanical properties of FSWed joints, optical microscopy and mechanical tests(i.e., uniaxial tensile test and microhardness) were used, respectively.Furthermore, the analysis of intermetallic compounds and fracture surface was examined by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The effect of heat generation on the mechanical properties and microstructure of the FSWed joints was investigated. The results showed that there is an optimum amount of heat input. The intermetallic compounds formed in FSWed joints were Al4Cu9 and Al2Cu. The best results were found in joints with 1000 rpm rotational speed and100 mm/min travel speed. 3The effect of membrane pores wettability on CO_2 removal from CO_2/CH_4 gaseous mixture using NaOH, MEA and TEA liquid absorbents in hollow fiber membrane contactor显示文摘The present paper renders a modeling and a 2D numerical simulation for the removal of CO_2from CO_2/CH_4gaseous stream utilizing sodium hydroxide(NaOH),monoethanolamine(MEA)and triethanolamine(TEA)liquid absorbents inside the hollow fiber membrane contactor.Counter-current arrangement of absorbing agents and CO_2/CH_4gaseous mixture flows are implemented in the modeling and numerical simulation.Non-wetting and partial wetting modes of operation are considered where in the partial wetting mode,CO_2/CH_4gaseous mixture and liquid absorbents fill the membrane pores.The deteriorated removal of CO_2in the partial wetting mode of operation is mainly due to the mass transfer resistance imposed by the liquid in the pores of membrane.The validation of numerical simulation is done based on the comparison of simulation results of CO_2removal using Na OH and experimental data under non-wetting mode of operation.The comparison illustrates a desirable agreement with an average deviation of less than 5%.According to the results,MEA provides higher efficiency for CO_2removal in comparison with the other liquid absorbents.The order for CO_2removal performance is MEAN Na OHN TEA.The influence of non-wetting and partial wetting modes of operation on CO_2removal are evaluated in this article as one of the novelties.Besides,the percentage of CO_2sequestration as a function of gas velocity for various percentages of membrane pores wetting ranging from 0(non-wetting mode of operation)to 100%(complete wetting mode of operation)is studied in this research paper,which can be proposed as the other novelty.The results indicate that increase in some operational parameters such as module length,membrane porosity and absorbents concentration encourage the removal percentage of CO_2from CO_2/CH_4gaseous mixture while increasing in membrane tortuosity,gas velocity and initial CO_2concentration has unfavorable influence on the separation efficiency of CO_2.Ali Taghvaie Nakhjiri Amir Heydarinasab Omid Bakhtiari Toraj Mohammadi 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,9:4
4Effects of heat treatment on the intermetallic compounds and mechanical properties of the stainless steel 321–aluminum 1230 explosive-welding interface显示文摘The effects of heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of intermetallic compounds in the interface of stainless steel 321 explosively bonded to aluminum 1230 were investigated in this study. Experimental investigations were performed by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and microhardness and shear tensile strength testing. Prior to heat treatment, increasing the stand-off distance between samples from 1 to 2.5 mm caused their interface to become wavy and the thickness of intermetallic layers to increase from 3.5 to 102.3 μm. The microhardness increased from HV 766 in the sample prepared at a stand-off distance of 1 mm to HV 927 in the sample prepared at a stand-off distance of 2.5 mm; in addition, the sample strength increased from 103.2 to 214.5 MPa. Heat treatment at 450°C for 6 h increased the thickness of intermetallic compound layers to 4.4 and 118.5 μm in the samples prepared at stand-off distances of 1 and 2.5 mm, respectively. 5Prediction of meteorological drought in arid and semi-arid regions using PDSI and SDSM: a case study in Fars Province, Iran显示文摘Drought is one of the most significant environmental disasters,especially in arid and semi-arid regions.Drought indices as a tool for management practices seeking to deal with the drought phenomenon are widely used around the world.One of these indicators is the Palmer drought severity index(PDSI),which is used in many parts of the world to assess the drought situation and continuation.In this study,the drought state of Fars Province in Iran was evaluated by using the PDSI over 1995-2014 according to meteorological data from six weather stations in the province.A statistical downscaling model(SDSM)was used to apply the output results of the general circulation model in Fars Province.To implement data processing and prediction of climate data,a statistical period 1995-2014 was considered as the monitoring period,and a statistical period 2019-2048 was for the prediction period.The results revealed that there is a good agreement between the simulated precipitation(R2>0.63;R2,determination coefficient;MAE<0.52;MAE,mean absolute error;RMSE<0.56;RMSE,Root Mean Squared Error)and temperature(R2>0.95,MAE<1.74,and RMSE<1.78)with the observed data from the stations.The results of the drought monitoring model presented that dry periods would increase over the next three decades as compared to the historical data.The studies showed the highest drought in the meteorological stations Abadeh and Lar during the prediction period under two future scenarios representative concentration pathways(RCP4.5 and RCP8.5).According to the results of the validation periods and efficiency criteria,we suggest that the SDSM is a proper tool for predicting drought in arid and semi-arid regions.Sheida DEHGHAN Nasrin SALEHNIA Nasrin SAYARI Bahram BAKHTIARI 2020Journal of Arid Land2020,12,2:4
6焊后热处理对爆炸焊接青铜–碳钢界面组织和冶金性能的影响(英文)显示文摘研究了焊后热处理对青铜–碳钢爆炸结合界面组织和冶金性能的影响。在不同装药条件下,分别在1.5 mm和2 mm距离下进行了爆炸焊接。在250℃和500℃的炉中进行4和16 h的焊后热处理,再进行风冷处理。采用光学显微镜、扫描电子显微镜和显微硬度测试对焊接试样进行了实验研究。显微组织测试表明,随着距离的增加和装药量的增加,青铜与钢的界面逐渐变薄。显微硬度测试结果表明,由于爆炸力引起的强烈塑性变形,接头界面附近的硬度较高。结果表明,随着热处理温度的升高和热处理时间的延长,金属间化合物的层厚增加,金属间化合物中的铁含量降低,铜和锡的扩散越快,金属间化合物中的铁含量越低。同时,由于热处理温度的升高和热处理时间的延长,内部应力释放,界面硬度降低。KHANZADEH GHARAHSHIRAN Mohammad Reza KHOSHAKHLAGH Ali KHALAJ Gholamreza BAKHTIARI Hamid BANIHASHEMI Ali Reza 2018Journal of Central South University2018,25,8:4
7Sediment contribution from different geologic formations and land uses in an Iranian small watershed,case study显示文摘Many intra and extra problems occurred due to unsustainable human use of natural resources leading to increasing sediment loads in the watersheds.However,few studies have been comprehensively conducted in progressing countries to prioritize sediment sources from different points of views,particularly in some countries like Iran where such valuable information is essential for proper watershed resources management.The present study was therefore planned to assess the importance of potential sediment sources viz.,spatial sources(geologic units) and source types(land use units) in sediment yield in Idelo watershed as one of the important sub-watersheds of Sefidrood large Watershed in Zanjan Province,Iran,using composite fingerprinting.In addition,the results of the sediment fingerprinting approach were compared with those of field measurement data obtained from studying soil erosion types(viz.,sheet,rill and gully erosion).Toward this attempt,16 tracers were detected in different geologic units and land uses and the sediment yielded at the watershed outlet.The results showed that the composite fingerprints of the different geologic units comprising As,N,Cu,Zn,OC and Co tracers could correctly distinguish 86% of the sediment source samples.The red gypsiferous marl contributed 85 percent in sediment yield.In regard to source types,the optimum composite fingerprint encompassed only N and Cu and provided a discriminatory efficiency of 90%.Besides that,the rangelands with 48.8% study area coverage had a significant contribution of 88% in sediment yield.The field measurements confirmed the reliability of results of fingerprinting approach in apportioning watershed scale sediment sources on the base of consistency of the two sets of results.It was also understood from the results,besides successful applicability of composite fingerprinting in assessing the provenance of the sediment yielded at the watershed outlet that the geologic formations and land use types played different roles in sediment yield.Such information helps managers and decision makers to properly regulate appropriate and adaptive management approaches in the study watershed.Seyed Hamidreza Sadeghi Saeed Najafi Alireza Riyahi Bakhtiari 2017International Journal of Sediment Research2017,32,2:3

9New rat to mouse xenograft transplantation of endometrium as a model of human endometriosis显示文摘Background:Endometriosis can lead to infertility.Since there is no definitive treat-ment for endometriosis,animal modelling seems necessary to examine the possible treatments.Mouse endometrium cannot be separated for endometriosis induc-tion.In addition,transplantation of uterus into the abdominal viscera to induce endometriosis causes organ damage.In this study,we defined a new model of en-dometriosis leading to separability of endometrium and a safe anatomical region for transplantation.Methods:Forty female mice were allocated to 5 groups:1,sham;2,allograft uterus transplantation of mice to anterior abdominal wall of mice;3,allograft uterus trans-plantation of mice to mesentery of mice;4,xenograft endometrial transplantation of rat to anterior abdominal wall of mice;5,xenograft endometrial transplantation of rat to mesentery of mice.Adult female rats with a previous pregnancy experience were selected and placed in the vicinity of male rats for 2 weeks to induce estrogen secre-tion and increase endometrial thickness.Results:In the 4th group of animals,compared to sham,the peritoneal concentrations of VEGF-A,TNF-α,NO,MDA,and serum levels of CA-125 and IL-37 were increased and total body weight was decreased,while weight and size of endometrial lesions were increased significantly(P<.05).Genes expression of HOXA10 and HOXA11 were decreased significantly(P<.05)in groups 2 and 4 compared to sham.Conclusions:Xenograft transplantation of endometrium from rat to anterior abdomi-nal wall of mice can potentially mimic human endometriosis morphologically,histo-logically,and genetically.Amir Abdolmaleki Cyrus Jalili Kamran Mansouri Mitra Bakhtiari 2021Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2021,4,3:2
10Royal-jelly-based apitherapy can attenuate damages to male reproductive parameter following nicotine administration显示文摘Background:Nicotine administration can generate severe oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation.Royal jelly,with its antioxidant properties,acts as a scavenger of reactive oxygen species.This study describes the apitherapy effects of royal jelly on testicular damage following nicotine administration.Methods:Forty-eight male BALB/c mice were divided into 8 groups(n=6):saline,3 different doses of royal jelly(100,150,and 200 mg/kg body weight(BW)per day),nicotine(1.5 mg/kg),and 3 different groups of Nic+Roy(1.5 mg/kg of Nic+100,150,and 200 mg/kg BW per day of royal jelly).Nicotine was administrated intraperitoneally,and royal jelly was prescribed orally for 10 consecutive days.Serum levels of hormones(testosterone,luteinizing hormone,and follicle-stimulating hormone),total antioxidant capacity,nitric oxide(NO)status,malondialdehyde levels,sperm DNA fragmentation,sperm parameters,histopathological changes(H&E staining),immunohistochemistry against apoptotic proteins,and gene expression of Bcl-2,p53,Caspase-3,and Nrf2(real-time PCR)were assessed to evaluate the molecular and histological changes.Results:Hormone levels,sperm parameters,and status of antioxidants were decreased significantly(p<.05)following nicotine administration.Moreover,royal jelly treatment normalized hormonal and antioxidant characteristics,decreased apoptotic gene expression,increased Nfr2 gene expression,and restored histopathological alteration to the physiological status significantly(p<.05).Conclusion:Royal jelly upregulates the antioxidant status,inhibits the mitochondrialdependent apoptosis pathway,and increases the rate of proliferation.This therapeutic agent effectively protected the testis against nicotine-associated damages by antioxidant and anti-apoptotic effects.Mahsa Nazar-Zadeh Cyrus Jalili Amene Nikgoftar Fathi Ali Ghanbari Mitra Bakhtiari 2022Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2022,5,2:2
