| 1 | A 2.8 Ma record of environmental evolution and tectoni events inferred from the Cuoe core in the middle of Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Based on a multi-proxy investigation into the deep core of the Cuoe Lake in the middle of Tibetan Plateau, a 2.8 Ma paleoclimatic and paleoenvironmental evolution is recon- structed. The result of magnetic stratum indicates that the lake basin was formed at about 2.8 MaBP, while the multi-proxy analyses of lithology, grain size, magnetic susceptibility and geo- chemical elements reveal that there have been three major environmental evolution stages and at least two intensive uplifts of the Tibetan Plateau in the lake basin area, i.e. during 2.8—2.5 MaBP, the lake basin came into being as a result of the disaggregation of the planation surface and rapid rising of the Tibetan Plateau. During 2.5—0.8 MaBP, with gradual uplift of the Tibetan Plateau, the environment of this area was more effectively controlled by the climatic cycle of the alternative glacial-interglacial stages. | 2 | Periodicity and map for discovery of new ionic liquids显示文摘There is virtually no limit in the number of ionic liquids. How to select proper ones or discover new ones with desirable properties in such a large pool of ionic liquids? It has become a bottleneck in the researches and applications of ionic liquids. Mendeleev’s periodic law states that the properties of the elements vary periodically. Whether the similar regularity exists among ionic or mo-lecular fragments of compounds is an interesting topic. In this work, we attempted to establish a pe-riodicity and draw a “map” of ionic liquids for providing definite guidance to discover, design, and se-lect the proper ionic liquids rather than trial-and-error. | 4 | Intestinal alkaline phosphatase in the colonic mucosa of children with inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘AIM:To investigate intestinal alkaline phosphatase(iAP) in the intestinal mucosa of children with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).METHODS:Colonic biopsy samples were taken from 15 newly diagnosed IBD patients and from 10 healthy controls.In IBD patients,specimens were obtainedboth from inflamed and non-inflamed areas.The iAP mRNA and protein expression was determined by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting analysis,respectively.Tissue localization of iAP and Toll-like receptor(TLR) 4 was investigated by immunofluorescent staining.RESULTS:The iAP protein level in the inflamed mucosa of children with Crohn's disease(CD) and ulcerative colitis(UC) was significantly decreased when compared with controls(both P < 0.05).Similarly,we found a significantly decreased level of iAP protein in the inflamed mucosa in CD compared with non-inflamed mucosa in CD(P < 0.05).In addition,the iAP protein level in inflamed colonic mucosa in patients with UC was decreased compared with non-inflamed mucosa in patients with CD(P < 0.05).iAP protein levels in the non-inflamed mucosa of patients with CD were similar to controls.iAP mRNA expression in inflamed colonic mucosa of children with CD and UC was not significantly different from that in non-inflamed colonic mucosa with CD.Expression of iAP mRNA in patients with noninflamed mucosa and in controls were similar.Co-localization of iAP with TLR4 showed intense staining with a dotted-like pattern.iAP was present in the inflamed and non-inflamed mucosa of patients with CD,UC,and in control biopsy specimens,irrespective of whether it was present in the terminal ileum or in the colon.However,the fluorescent signal of TLR4 was more pronounced in the colon compared with the terminal ileum in all groups studied.CONCLUSION:Lower than normal iAP protein levels in inflamed mucosa of IBD patients may indicate a role for iAP in inflammatory lesions in IBD.Based on our results,administration of exogenous iAP enzyme to patients with the active form of IBD may be a therapeutic option. | Kriszta Molnár dám Vannay Beáta Szebeni Nóra Fanni Bánki Erna Sziksz ron Cseh Hajnalka Gyrffy Péter László Lakatos Mária Papp András Arató Gábor Veres | 2012 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,25: | 5 |
| 5 | Preparation of Pt/K_2La_2Ti_3O_(10) and its photo-catalytic activity for hydrogen evolution from methanol water solution显示文摘A layered perovskite-type oxide K2La2Ti3O10 was prepared with high-temperature solid-state reaction, and characterized with X-ray diffraction (XRD) and ultraviolet-visible diffuse re-flectance spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS). Platinum was loaded onto K2La2Ti3O10 as a co-catalyst with different methods. The dispersion of platinum on K2La2Ti3O10 was determined with HOT method. The photocatalytic activity of Pt/K2La2Ti3O10 was studied. This catalyst showed much higher activity in hydrogen evolution reaction than Ni/K2La2Ti3O10. The effects of different amounts of loaded platinum and several preparation methods were evaluated. The best achieved hydrogen evolution rate was 233.88 μmol·h?1 by Pt(2%)/K2La2Ti3O10. | 6 | Surgical stress and cytoskeletal changes in lens epithelial cells following manual and femtosecond laser-assisted capsulotomy显示文摘AIM:To study the effect of mechanical stress on the cytoskeleton in lens epithelial cells following conventional phacoemulsification surgery(CPS)and femtosecond laserassisted cataract surgery(FLACS).METHODS:The cytoskeleton of the epithelial cells of the anterior lens capsules(ALC)removed by CPS and FLACS was examined by immunohistochemistry.Expression of the intermediate filament,glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP),and glutamine synthetase(GS)immunoreactivity were detected.In order to map the actin network of cells,fluorescently labeled phalloidin was used.The samples were examined using confocal laser scanning microscopy.RESULTS:GFAP expression was visible in a larger number of the epithelial cells after CPS compared to FLACS.In CPS sample’s epithelial cells,GFAP immunoreactivity indicated robust morphological change.Regarding the actin filaments,the presence of tubular elements connecting epithelial cells,regular actin pattern and marked cortical network after CPS were found.Following FLACS,the actin cytoskeleton of the epithelial cells remained densely structured,and the tubular elements were undetectable,however,the above-mentioned regular actin pattern and the marked cortical network were visible.CONCLUSION:The conventional removal of the ALC induces more robust changes of the cytoskeleton of the lens epithelial cells. | ANDrea Krisztina Sükosd Krisztina Szabadfi Edina Szabó-Meleg Beáta Gáspár Pavel Stodulka Gyorgy SétálóJr Róbert Gábriel Miklós Nyitrai Zsolt Biró Hajnalka Abrahám | 2020 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2020,13,6: | 2 |
